How do I not make Illustrator or any Adobe CC program the default program when opening an AI files?
Its kinda like this, at my workplace, we tried Adobe CC for a year and then the managers decided to go back to using Adobe CS6. Right now my problem is that, anytime I tried to open any AI files, the "Renew your subscription" window appears. How do I make that any Ai files can be opened with the Adobe CS6 and not the CC.
The reason I ask this because sometimes when u work, there is a smart object inside and when I wanna go to that specific smart object (which is Illustrator), the validation thingy appears so I can't edit the content.
Larry's right, mec_os. I spent some very frustrating time trying to get that particular solution to work. I'm thinking seriously about uninstalling CS6.x for Illustrator and InDesign to solve this problem. I hate it when OS developers think we all want the computer to do our thinking for us. I'm geting really tired of all the "helpful" features that keep getting added on. That's my rant for today, folks!

6) If you wish to change all files of this type to open with this application in future, make sure the "change all" button is selected.

Acrobat X: Can you make 'open' the default option when opening sharepoint documents?
When you open a sharepoint document with acrobat X, you get the pop-up screen asking you how you want to access the file. The option are 'check out and open', or just 'open'.

No, it's not really possible to set this default.
That said, there's a registry key setting you can change to disable the SharePoint integration feature though.
They key is:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\(product name)\(version)\FeatureLockdown\cSharePoint
Summary: Disables the SharePoint integration features.
Details: Controlls the application's ability to detect that a file came from a Sharepoint server, disables the check-out prompt, and removes the SharePoint specific menu items. Possible values include:
0: Disable the SharePoint integration features.
1: Same as "null." Don't disable the SharePoint integration features.
This may not really fit your need though.

How I prevent the batting linestyle from being lost when opening an Autocad file in Illustrator?
I have worked out how to open Autocad files in Illustrator, but Illustrator does not obviously recognise the batting linestyle I have used for insulation and it only appears as a straight line. Is there any where to preserve the batting line when opening the file in Illustrator?
If a linestyle is not coming over, I would assign a unique color in CAD. This way you can select similar color in Illustrator, and change them easily in Illustrator.

When you scroll to the bottom of the list of files in Finder, the left to right scrollbar doesn't let you click the last file and it covers the file for a while until it disappears. Is this a bug? How do I not make that happen?
An odd workaround: click "Always" in System Preferences/General/Show scroll bars. The scroll bars will always show, but they won't cover your last file.

Well, it could have to do with her phone, however does she have any difficulty in receiving SMS from others? You may want to check how you have iMessage set up. Go to Settings>Messages>Receive at>Make sure your telephone number is listed there, then go to Caller ID, and make sure your phone number is the one with the checkmark by it. You may be sending messages with your email address as the header and if that is so, it may be requiring her to download it as data. See if that helps.

I suspect you are attempting to burn an HD DVD, which will not play on a DVD player...
But if you provide more details such as the settings you are applying in Compressor, then we would be able to provide you more accurate information.
How are you adding the files to Compressor?

When I try to uninstall iTunes I get a message saying iTunes 64 msi can not be located and I should enter an alternate path. How would I know where it it is? I get the same message when trying to install the update to iTunes 10.6.1.

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

available for all users of this project server) when trying to insert a new column in the Gannt Chart View.
Due to this what all are the columns that inserted in the project plan, will be lost when open the project in the next time.
I have opened the Enterprise Global Template and cross checked for Gaant Chart view it is showing the table as "Entry" only.
The requirement is what all columns are required for the project plan, manager will insert in the project first time. Next time on-wards it needs to be display the columns when opened the project from server by default.
We are unable to reproduce this issue in our Dev Envt.
Could anyone of you please help me.

I suggest to remove Gantt Chart view and Entry table from Eglobal. These are default views from client and it is highly recommended to not use them in Enterprise Global.
Whatever a user ist doing on a view or table which is included in Enterprise Global will be reset on next open - therefore you receive this message.
If you need some server wide defined views and tables, create them. But remove Gantt Chart and Entry.
