How do I obtain Sprint Mobile Family Plan if there's employee discount?

How do I find out if a Company my husband work for has associated with Sprint for employee special rate? If there is, How do I obtain it for a Family Plan? Do I go through a Plan & Phones with Bestbuy, the Employer or Sprint? Thank you for helping

The price to buy out right as opposed to monthly is cheaper. Also keep in mind even if you take your phone in for repair yo ucan cancel the protection plan at any time and be reimbursed appropriately.
If you have used your GSP, you would not qualify for a refund of anything you've already paid for it. This is because the cost of even one Rapid Exchange replacement exceeds the price you paid for your 2-year protection.

  • How do I configure Sprint Mobile Email to show my name in the email return address?

I am using Sprint Mobile Email to check & send my Yahoo email on my Palm Centro.  When I send emails it only shows my email address in the return address and not my name.  I have my name set up in Yahoo but it doesn't get picked up when I send emails from my phone.
How do I configure Sprint Mobile Email to also show my name in the email return address?  Everyone may not recognize my email address as being me.
    Thank you

Hello and thank you for using the Palm Help Forums!
You may want to contact Sprint for further assistance with the Sprint Mobile email. However, I can assist you with the built in Email (Versamail) application.

  • Switching to AT&T from a T-Mobile family plan

Sorry if this has been answered before, but my searches haven't found an answer to this particular question.
I currently have two phones under a T-Mobile family plan. I want to transfer my phone number to AT&T with the iPhone while the second phone stays in T-Mobile under an individual plan (don't need the family plan any more).
If I plug in my iPhone to iTunes and request for my number to be transfered, will it work? What will happen to the other number? Will it get cancelled?
    Thanks for your help,
    Julian

My phone number is the "main" phone number of the family plan in T-Mobile. I'm afraid that as soon as I do the switch the secondary number may get disconnected right away (T-Mobile will not tell me what will happen exactly).
The reason I don't want to keep the family plan is because I'm only moving my number to AT&T. The secondary number will stay with T-Mobile as an individual account.
    Regards,
    Julian

  • How many phones are eligible with family plan update?

If my family plan is eligible for an upgrade, how many phones (without paying full retail price) can we get by extending out two year contract?
Right now I am the only one with a smart phone, but we plan to add two more so want to get three the newer nicer phones.

Hi joycean716. I'm excited to hear so many of your family lines are considering taking the leap into new phones. Brian68 is right, each individual line has a separate contract and upgrade date. To see when each of your lines is eligible for an upgrade, log into My Verizon at www.vzw.com/signin as the Account Owner and select "Get Upgrade Status" from the My Device section of the home page. You can even order your new phones while you're logged in there.
    Thank you

  • How do i separate from a family plan

    Hello,
As it normally happens, my girlfriend and I broke up and are on a family plan. She's the primary account holder on a family plan and I want to get my own plan. What would be the proper way to go about getting my own line and would I have to pay a cancellation fee?

If she is the primary account holder, she's the one stuck with the plan.  So...depending on your breakup, you keep her get stuck with the early termination fee.  However, she can claim that you died (trust me..it works) and then get you off her plan.
You can always start your own plan.

  • Need to move 1 (out 3) family plan lines to an individual plan and keep employer discount intact

I've tried to find this answer via search but it seems everyone's scenario is a bit different, so I'm asking here in hope's a kind soul can give me a good answer in hopes I can accomplish this without having to go into a store.
We have a 3 line family plan currently that is being discounted via my employer. I'm getting a divorce, which means I need to break out my phone line separately and no longer be a part of that family plan (she'll continue to pay for her line and the 2nd line). Issues I'm curious on:
I want to keep my number. Can I?
Will the current family plan continue to get the discount? Will I also be eligible to keep my employer's discount on a new single line plan?
Will we be in violation of contract and have to pay ETFs if I move my line to this separate billable solution?
Any other unforeseen issues with trying to do this? I need to be 100% separated from this current account and assured I will have service, etc. if she suddenly wants to cancel her service, move carriers, etc.
Thanks very, very much for trying to help me in this chaotic time.

    Assumption of Liability
Sounds like you are the account owner. It would be best to do the Assumption of Liability process to split off the other two lines into a new account under your soon to be ex-wife's name. Depending on her credit, she might have to pay a deposit. Once those lines are removed from your account, your line changes to an individual plan. The employee discount should hopefully remain, but the amount discounted might go down. If the discount doesn't stay, you can always reapply for the discount to be added to your line as the account owner.

Hey there, SaintBreesy09! I'm very sorry to hear of the changes in your personal life. May these adjustments lead to happier days for all involved!
Thanks for reaching out about you account needs. I have answers to all of the questions you've posted!
    1. Yes, you can keep your current number. The way I read your post, the account you have now appears to be in your name. Therefore, you can create a second bill level whereby the bills from the original bill level (account number ending in -00001) would continue to go to the original billing address, while your line goes to the second level (account number ending in -00001). Both bill levels would remain in your name, and you have the option to continue getting your employee discount (can't be confirmed until we see what the terms are for your specific discount agreement). If you don't own the current account, you can move your line to a new or existing account via a process called Assumption of Liability. Details on that are here: http://vz.to/1aqrvX0
    2. Yes, the discount may continue as long as the account ownership doesn't change, and as long as the agreement between Verizon Wireless and the employer remains in effect.
    3. No violation. No ETF. As long as all lines remain with Verizon Wireless, you're golden!
    4. The only possible issues you may encounter are monthly service charges. With all lines sharing the plan now, that's possibly lower than it would be to separate them. It really depends on the plan you have now. I recommend reviewing the plan itself. If you need help with that, you can call Customer Care at 800-922-0204 from 6am to 11pm daily, or I can help you directly.

  • How many iphones I can buy the contract price by using family plan?

The apple.com only allows me to buy one iphone.
if I choose a sprint family plan, can I buy more than one iphone by contract price?
Can I buy them on apple.com or I need to go to a sprint retail?

I believe Apple's limit is 2 phones per purchase, at least during the first few weeks of a release.  That's not to say you could not do 2 purchases of 2 phones.
How many lines to do you have elligible for upgrade?

  • When I want to update my app a different account comes up now.  Wierd.  It's the family plan owners id...why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Upon  wanting to update some of my apps, I now get prompted to login with the owner of the family plans login.
I have my own account attached to this phone.  Why is this now happening and how do I return it to update my apps with my login ID?

Did you by chance accidentally purchase these app with the different account?
Because all apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase it.
You can also check settings - appstore - apple id - if it isn't your id, log out and log in with your id.

  • I have purchased a new iPhone on an upgrade from one of my family plan numbers, how do I activate it to use with another number on my account

I purchased a new iPhone through upgrading one of the phones on my att family plan. when I receive the phone how do i switch it to another phone number on my plan I want to use it with?

I have a friend who does this every year. He just brings both phones into his AT&T store and they swap the numbers for him. Pretty painless process, as long as they are not too busy (i.e. iPhone lauch day)

  • How do I get off a family share plan if I'm not the account owner?

how do I get off a family share plan if i'm not the account owner?

kydd33  Good question!  If you are looking to be removed from the family share plan, then the account owner would need to give you  (or the person looking to take over your line ) permission. This is known as an Assumption of Liability (AOL). I am assuming that you want to keep your Verizon phone number and are looking to remain a Verizon Wireless customer. If so, the age requirement is atleast 18. Also, the current account has to have a current balance. If another VZW customer is taking your line over then their account would need to have a current balance, as well.  To proceed, have the account owner call customer service and authorize that you can remove your line from their account. There is not a penalty or fee for the account owner.

  • How can you create an online account for a family plan of 3?

    Hey there,
I recently switched from T-mobile to Verizon and got a family plan(10 GB More Everything Plan with Verizon Edge) for my parents and myself at the store. Unlike T-mobile where you can see activities of all 3 phones, the Verizon online account is only for 1 phone (or I am not doing it right ?!!! ).
And by looking at each individual account, it doesn't look like I have a family plan sharing 10 GB data ($80 montly account access fee + 3*$15/line monthly access fee=$125), but instead each phone has 10 GB ( $80 montly account access fee + $15/line monthly access fee=$95, which totals to $95*3=$285 for the family).
Is there a way I can check to see if I have a family plan? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Christy

If all 3 phones are on the same More Everything plan, the account owner only would be able to see the activity of all 3 lines. The other 2 lines would only be able to see the activity from their own line. Have you tried logging into the MyVerizon account from each line? Possibly the line you have been logging in with is not the account owner line.
Either calling CS as indicated above or stopping by a Verizon store would be able to remedy your situation if you are on separate accounts instead of just one.

  • HT4847 how do I purchase iCloud storage for family plan membe?

My wife had her own iCloud storage upgrade but the card on her storage expired. Prior to the expiration I added her to iCloud family as a parent/guardian. Now, her storage upgrade has expired and she can't change it because she's on the family plan. She spoke to iCloud support and they said basically I have to buy it for her. How do I do that?  Why must this be so hard?  I've searched for solutions but can't seem to find Apple-authored solutuons that deal with this specific situation and don't see anywhere on my iphone where I can buy or share storage for her.

I should add...her iphone, when trying to change her icloud storage, still shows that her card has expired and only allows me to re-enter the CVV code.  There doesn't seem to be any other option.
