How do I open a CS5 site in CS6 (CC)?

I just upgraded to CC and DW6. I have a site in DW5, but for some reason I'm missing how to open it in CS6.

Do you have DWCS6 Cloud Version (DW 12) or DWCC (DW 13)?
If you haven't uninstalled CS5 yet, open that and go to Sites > Manage Sites > Export and create a .ste file for your sites.
Then from CS6 or CC go to Sites > Manage Sites > Import to import all of your site settings.
If you don't have your old DW, go to Sites > New Site and browse to your site folder on your HD to set up a new site based on the same local folder.

How do I open a BigCommerce site in dream weaver?

I have a bigCommerce store and I want to open my site in Dreamweaver CC so I can edit the templates and create new templates. I am using one of the BigCommerce stock templates as a starting point. I can figure out how to make the changes on my own but I can not for the life of me figure out how to simply open the site in Dreamweaver so I can start. Anybody know how to import the files for the first time? Any help is appreciated.

Again, I have no idea if this will work. The first step is to define your site in DW by going to Site > New Site. Tell DW where on your hard drive you wish to store your site files. C:\yourSiteName
Then under servers, input your FTP log-in credentials. Hit TEST button to confirm your connection.
Once connected, you can GET files (down arrow) from your remote server via the Files Panel (F8). See screenshot.

Flash itself is not supported on any iOS device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) which is why you can't download it (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/)
Depending on what sites you are trying to access, you might find that some of them (probably more so if they are news sites) have their own apps in the App Store which might let you get some of the content that you want (and there is the built-in YouTube app). Also there are browsers such as Skyfire which 'work' on some sites - but judging by the reviews not all sites. If you want to play flash games then you are probably out of luck if you want to play on-line though the iSwifter app might work on some of them, but again some flash games have app versions in the store.

As Colin points out, backward compatibility is seldom going to work, or work well.
An alternate is to Export an intermediate file from CS5, to be Imported into CS3, and a new Project/Sequence.
Two schools of thought on doing so:
Edit completely and finally in CS5, as you will no longer have things like Handles, etc., in your newly Exported intermediate file. It will be hard to re-edit, but you can certainly do things like Titles, Audio additions, PiP and overlays.
Edit very loosely, leaving adequate Handles in each Clip, and NOT adding any Transitions. The tight editing would then be done in the older version, and Transitions, etc., would be added there.
I would look into a lossless CODEC, like the Lagarith Lossless, for the intermediate file. Note: it would have to be installed on both machines, and one would have to consider the 32-bit on the CS3 machine, and the 64-bit version on the CS5 machine. I do not know how well, or poorly, those might play with each other, but I am sure that others can direct you, or perhaps suggest an alternative.

PS - I also think that you meant something different than "CS4 into CS4... " above.
PPS - It is usually easier going UP a version, or two, though even that can hold some problems, just waiting to strike.

Editing .AI files opening in CS5 instead of CS6

I have both CS5 and CS6 suite installed. When working in InDesign and needing to edit a .ai file they open up in Illustrator CS5 instead of Illustrator CS6. How can I change this default action?

Couple things. If you double click on an AI file, which version of AI opens it? If CS5 is opening it, it may or may not be the file associations.
I believe Windows uses the last version of an application associated to a file extension. If CS5 opens a file that is double-clicked on, exit. Start CS6 and manually open an AI file. Now exit AI CS6 and try double-clicking on an AI file. Does it open in CS6? If so, it is likely the whole Windows thing.
If CS6 initially opens a double-clicked file and ID is not using it for the linked AI files...then I have no idea. At least without playing a bit, which will be a while later.

I can't open InDesign CS5 file in CS6

I created a document at work in CS5. I saved it as an INDD file and transferred it so I could work on it at home. However I have CS6 and whenever I try to open this file, my InDesign loads to about 80% and then just freezes. I can't do or click anything. It never crashes, just gets to the point where I have to ctrl+alt+dlt each time.
I am using a Windows 7 computer.
I need to finish this for tomorrow and I don't have access to InDesign CS5 at all to make it an IDML file or fix any fonts.
What do I do?

Try open as a copy, and/or the script at Adobe Community: InDesign 6 is crashing when attempting to open a particular document. All others are opening OK.

I own Photoshop CS3, how can I upgrade to CS5 (or even CS6)?

As I say in the title, I own Photoshop CS3 and I heard you could upgrade to CS5 or CS6 from that version. I've looked online and I can't find anything, either the links are broken or they bring me to an irrelevant page.
If anyone has any insight please help me!

EDIT: I am using a Windows computer, by the way. Windows 8.

There are no longer any upgrades from CS3 to any later versions of Photoshop. CS3 is too old to qualify.
As a CS3 owner, you can however get a discounted monthly fee for the Cloud version. The discount lasts for 12 months. Then it's back to the regular monthly fee.

Instead of replacing waht you have in CS5, paste the files/ folders into the same locations in CS6.

I recently bought the Nikon D800 and cannot open/import my RAW files into cs6. So i did some research and found that you have to convert them into DNG's that are compatible. I downloaded the Adobe DNG converter and that program is also telling me that there are no found camera files that are supported...

DNG Converter 7.1 RC (beta) can convert D800 files. It's available at Labs.Adobe.com which also has ACR 7.1 RC that will process D800 files in Photoshop CS6.

The solution was to find a computer where I could install a CC trial and then do what you recommended and that worked out fine.

Adelita1219!, If it just say Photoshop CS6, then you have purchased PS CS6 standard version which does not have the 3D features. 3D was a part of PS CS6 Extended.
In case you want to use 3D, then you might want to upgrade to PS CC.

Just bought Nikon D750 and thinking I may need an update for the CS6 PhotoShop RAW File Converter.
I've heard the patch won't run on an XP machine, which seems odd to me since the program runs on it with no problems.
Is there a way to try to download this patch on one computer (laptop) and install it on the other computer ("workstation"), which has the CS6 installed?
Related question:
If I have to buy a new computer : ) will I be able to run those CS6 disks on that computer with the new operating system, along with the D750 converter?
Feel like I am caught in no man's land.
