How do I open Adobe Acrobat after my trial is done installing

I tried to install the trial of Adobe Acrobat so that I could export a PDF to a word document. The trial seems to have downloaded but now I don't know how to open it and therefore use it. Help!

Cgellis16 have you installed Adobe Acrobat Professional?  If not then please run the uninstaller located in your download folder.
If you have installed the software then the typical method for your operating system will be utilized to open the program.  Which operating system are you using?

I have downloaded Adobe Acrobat, but I can't seem to open it or find it. Where is it? Am very thick and new to this. Thank you.

What is your system? For example Windows 7, Mac OS Lion?
Do you think you INSTALLED it yet?
    Did you pay for it?
    Or download a demo?
Or download something free (Adobe Reader)?

How do I completely uninstall adobe acrobat pro 9 tial version
after it has expired?  Since this has expired I am having issues with other programs that use Adome A
crobat and the new flash player will not install correctly.

If uninstalling Acrobat normally does not resolve the issue, you better ask in the appropriate Acrobat forum.  Don't forget to mention your OS and any relevant details.
You can continue this topic regarding your problem with Flash Player, but we also need to know your OS, browser, and the exact details of your problem.

  • Access to Adobe Acrobat After Free Trial

I had a free trial for Adobe Acrobat. I am still deciding if I want to purchase it. In the meantime, I need to open a PDF that was emailed to me and I cannot open it because I am getting a message that my trial has expired. Is there anyway to just open the PDF without purchasing the software? I have the Adobe Reader installed.

Open Adobe Reader | Edit | Preferences | General: use the 'Select Default PDF Handler' button to specify Adobe Reader instead of Acrobat.

    To who it may concern:
I downloaded the trial Adobe Acrobat IX on my Mac but get an error about images and therefore cannot take advantage of the trial.  I would instead like to uninstall the trial.
    Thank you,

    Hi Sherri Stevens,
For MAC, you might need to go into /Applications/Adobe Acrobat XI/ and then run the uninstaller from that directory to remove the trial version.

how to open adobe acrobat reader without having to open photoshop? i keep getting this message when opening pdf files. "adobe acrobat was installed as part of a suite. to enable adobe acrobat, please start another component of this suite(such as photoshop)

Are you mixing Adobe Acrobat with the Adobe Reader?
If you have Acrobat on your computer you need to associate PDFs with Reader to open in it.
You also need to get the latest security patches for Reader.

How can I transfer Adobe Acrobat from my old Laptop to my new laptop?

You have to deactivate and uninstall on the old system and then reinstall on the new system. Whether it works depends on the Acrobat version (looks like you indicated AAX) and OS. You need to be sure to update after the new install. Just transferring files like you imply you want to do is not possible with almost any modern software. The software not only loads files, but sets all sorts of registry entries that would take a lot of time to find. In the past there were some programs that supposedly tried to move programs, but I have not seen mention of one in years.

I can no longer open any PDF after my trial of Acrobat XI Pro finished...Help

I would try using this tool to first remove all traces of Acrobat from your computer:
    http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from
    http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

  • How can I update Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard

How can I update Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard after installing it on Windows 7? Ive tried a few AcrobatUpd8**_all_incr.msp files but I get an error that the program to upgrade may be missing. I cannot afford to upgrade it to X* when this works for what I need it for which is simply to break up multi page documents created by Quickbooks.

Certainly, the printer driver in Acrobat 8.0 cannot install in Windows 7 64 bit - it wasn't written too. Apparently, though, 8.1 is capable of installing the printer driver.
Unfortunately, Adobe have taken down the page with release notes. But you may need to use the *efg* (English, French, German) versions. See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/update-patch-acrobat-reader-7.html
After 8.1 there is a "universal" (all language) update.

    Please refer : http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/buying-guide-upgrade-pricing.html
and check what version you own and if you are eligible for an upgrade. It also lists the upgrade price, product and version comparison.
After choosing the product you own you can order Acrobat XI online and pay the upgrade price.
