Remove all current Adobe software. Download Adobe Cleaner Follow instructions.

As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue. -
Sync problem - earlier today I updated both iTunes and my iPod Touch. Since then, I have tried syncing the two. The iPod Touch claims that there is no music on the iPod, however, when I connect it to my computer it says my full library is on there. At present, I am unable to listen to songs on the iPod when not connected to the computer. What can I do to fix this?

My garage band app has crashed & keeps returning to the main screen when I try to open it... I've tried most of the trouble shooting chart (no updates available, tried restarting app, restarted device) all I have left is to re-install the app... My main fear is that if I do this I will lose a load of recent projects that are saved to the app that I've spent the last few days creating... Help...
I have tried all those things I even updated the software to the new iOS system and it still did fix my problem.
What happened is that my garage band looks like it will open then it shuts down.
I have lot of important things on my garage band and I'm afraid that if I uninstall it deleting it then reinstalling it all my work on it will be gone and I can't have that happen.
Everyday I am hoping that when i go to open the app that is will work but it doesn't it gets ready to turn on then it shuts off , the app doesn't even open all the way and turns off.
I really hope I don't have to erase it.

If I waited for the App Store to come up with an update for garage band should I wait till then to update my app so it doesn't get damaged . I don't want to erase it and all my data get erased . I figured if I wait for an update then my garage band will reset itself but won't delete my data. I'm not sure if that will help. I am a web designer. I have saved pages that I update and upload to websites all the time. Now, after the latest updates, when I try to open these saved pages it only opens Firefox and loads the homepage. The saved page does not open. If I'm to keep using Firefox, which I would prefer, I need this functionality back.

I had tried all the suggestions. None of they helped. I can open the files by browsing for they after Firefox is open. I was able to spend some more time troubleshooting the issue yesterday afternoon. The issue has to do with the 64-bit file system. When I right click and select open with and then point it to the installation folder in the Program Files (x86) folder, it still won't open the file just opens to my home page. I did notice that when I was browsing for Firefox.exe that it defaulted to the Program Files folder not the Program Files (x86) folder. So I renamed the exe to LittleFox.exe and browsed for that exe and Firefox would then open the files as expected. So my guess is that it is a registry setting that is all the headache. I don't have time to run that problem down but will just use my workaround by renaming a copy of the exe and use that with my file association.

I just tried that and it partially fixed the problem, when I refresh a page it no longer takes me to Wikipedia! Also, I was able to open the link but I am getting the same message as previously when I try to open additional links on that page. This was helpful, thanks. Any other suggestions to why it continues to happen within the link that I was able to open? This other link is a PDF file..

Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Works fine, just irritating.Open Mail, then open Preferences (command-comma), and on the "General" pane the top entry is "Default email reader." Choose Mail (6.3) from the box.
