For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. You need to purchase Pages for your iMac. You can buy it from the App Store.
I don't know if the version of Pages for the iPad will open the Apple Works documents. If you have the documents on your Mac and want to open them on your iPad the easiest way I can think of is to open a DropBox (Google it) account and store the documents there. Then you can try to open the documents in Pages on your iPad. If that doesn't work then I know Pages for OS X will open the Apple Works WP documents.

Look at the down pointing arrow to the right of Photoshop CC in the list. Clicking on it shows a list of programs to select from.

how can i open my iBook on my Mac, not just on my iPhone? I ask this questions in hopes that I can eventually find a way to have the iPhone read a non "Enhanced" iBook to me.
I used the Accessibility reader for a brief time but it's very persinickety. Move the phone a tiny bit and it threw me out from page 70 and back to page 48. Changing pages when you are in Accessibility is excruciating. Now, I cannot get back there at all.
I downloaded 2 apps that claim they can read to me but the closest I can get in the instructions says I need to open the iBook from my Mac computer with my iPhone connected and then I will be able to open the iBook in the app called "Read text to me". Only when I go to open the book on my Mac it says "This book can’t be viewed using this computer. You can view this book using iBooks on your iOS device."
Thank god, I only have a brain tumor and am not yet completely blind.
I've been to the Apple store twice, checked out a youtube page with all it's comments and I am still nowhere, over the course of a week.

Difficult to open files saved in the MAC PC when working on the network.

Working on a network that has Mac and PC sharing and using the same file, but yesterday the illustrator went to the windows to open files saved in the MAC network. If I save the file on the hard drive it opens, but if you are not on the network. But if you open the same file with Photoshop does not show any error, even though network. This is a known issue. Illustrator is not good at using network shares. I recommend you simply save and load all files locally and then copy them to your network locations afterwards, when needed.

When I put this in some shell script like below then this command is not giving any output. Your assistance is required in this. Please guide me so that I can get the Count of Open files by some process.
I made some script, Its working fine but its giving the output for whole processes:

Mavericks is the Operating System (OSX).
LibreOffice [free] may be able to open your AppleWorks files but probably not perfectly.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but will alter/damage them.
