How do I open MS office power point presentation from older version and see it in 2011 version?

I try to open a power point presentation and it opens it but then I can't see any of the slides....any suggestions?

There are a number of apps that are compatible with Office documents. Apple makes iOS versions of their own iWork apps (Pages, Keynote, Numbers) that are available free if you purchase a new iOS device and that can be purchased separately for older devices. There are also 3rd party combined suites that cost less than the separate Apple apps. Ones often recommended include Documents 2 Go, Quickoffice and Office2 HD.
If you can accept needing a network connection whenever you want to use the apps and have an Office 365 subscription, Microsoft has just released their Office Mobile app, though it has significant limitations. Or a server-based solution such as CloudOn might be an option for you.

Creating Power point presentations from LabVIEW

I need to create a microsoft power point presentation from LabVIEW. Has any one worked with power point from labVIEW.

Yes I have done PP in LV.
Quick suggestions to start.
1) Use activeX. Provided you do not try to use the events from PP you should be able to do most of what PP offers.
2) Before starting, make sure you have "help for VBA" installed. This can be isntalled from the MS source disks and doing a custom install. Without this, you will have no clue as to where to find things.
3) Check for VBA examples of what you are trying to do.
I have never composed a PP presenstation via LV. Check the VBA help to see if this is possible.

Can I modify a power point presentation on the keynote and send it back as a power point? Will a PC be able to open it?

Can I modify a power point presentation that was sent to me on my keynote (OS X version 10.9.4, processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5, memory 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3), and send the presentation back after the modification as a power point? Will a PC be able to open it and work with without any problem? How should I do it? Also, there are some videos that do not play, what should I do?

Keynote will open, edit and save PowerPoint files.
In Keynote use: File > Open, then select the PowerPoint file.
Once edited save it by: press the Option key then, File > Save As
PowerPoint file will open if the user has either PowerPoint or PowerPoint Viewer installed on the Windows computer.
Also, there are some videos that do not play, what should I do?
If they are Windows Media files they would have to be converted to play on a Mac.

Hopefully you opted to install Rosetta along with the install. If so then do a get-info on the PP icon and select Rosetta. You may also need to resolve duplicate fonts in Font Book.

There is no application called "Adobe" - you are either working with Adobe Acrobat or the free Adobe Reader. Open up the preferences for the application (Edit>Preferences), then go to the "General" category and modify the settings for "Scale for screen resolution". You will have to restart the application after you do that. Does that fix your problems?

One way friends of mine have done it....use iTunes to burn a music CD with the songs (presuming it can still do that, haven't tried it in a while)
THen close iTunes and open windows media player. Use that to convet the CD file to MP3 (media player's default is to pull things in as wma, so you may need to change the preferences to mp3, or i'm pretty sure wma's work in power points)
Once media player converts the format you can insert it into your powerpoint.

If you absolutely must have the Microsoft applications, you can purchase and download them from http://microsoft.com/mac.
Free software suites LibreOffice and OpenOffice offer similar functionality (word processing and spreadsheets).
Or you could do worse than look at Apple's Pages, Numbers and Keynote, which should already be installed in your Mac and can export to Microsoft formats if need be.

We have one web - I report which we wnat to embade in Live office power point , when I use this report the BO live office give error message " The Live object component exceded limit of 25 coulumn in Power point " What would be this work around, or do we need to so some setting in live office.
