How do I organise tab groups automatically?

I've got around 30 tab groups with a total of around 100 windows(tabs) spread among them.
Right now all my tab groups just go where they want. Is there a 'tile tab groups' option or even an addon would be good.
It would be best if they sorted themselves out alphabetically rather than having me move them all around, it freezes FF for upto a minute when I move a single tab... I think it's because I have so many they all try to move and resize when one gets dropped in the middle of them

Clear Recent History is not enabled by default, so if it is now then you or an extension did enable that.<br />
If you want to keep using it then you only need to make sure that the "Browsing History" don't have a tick to prevent App Tabs from being removed (App Tabs are considered as history because you visit sites).

I may have gone overboard in the creation of Tab Groups. I say this because now my system is beginning to act a bit sluggish. I created 7 groups, two of which have 9 or 10 tabs. Should I pull back on the number of groups I create (as well as how many tab are located within each group). That is: How much RAM do tab groups use. How can I calibrate or understand the trade off between these markers and the amount of RAM they use?

I have 3 tab groups. From tab group 1, when I press ---Ctrl + `---, it goes to tab group 2. From tab group 1, when I press ---Ctrl + Shft + `--- it goes to tab group 3. How do I change the order so that when I press ---Ctrl + `--- from tab group 1 it goes to tab group 3 and when I press ---Ctrl + Shft + `--- from tab group 1 it goes to tab group 2? Basically, I would like to change the order of tab groups that the keyboard shortcut goes through.

How do I **save** tab groups (or import/export them)?

I needed to restart FF5 after installing some add-ons and when FF restarted, I was dismayed to find that my tab groups were gone!
Is there a way to save my tab groups so that I can reload them after restarting FF? it would be better if FF simply "remembers" what tab groups were created and reinstated them after a restart.
I LOVE tab groups as a way to organize all of the myriad tabs I fins myself opening as I venture off on a quest for knowledge. TG's can be made even better if there was a way to save, export, and import them (IMHO).

I finally found out how to save my tabgroups! :) Simple, you have to choose exit in archive and NOT press the closebutton (X) up in the corner. Simsalabim, all the groups remains!! :D

How can I recover tab groups if I accidentally hit "X" instead of "Exit"?

I had about six tab groups open with a total of 100+ tabs and accidentally clicked on the "X" at the top-right (I'm running Windows 7). The entire program closed without warning me that I was closing multiple tabs. When I restarted the program, only my most recent tab group was restored; the rest are gone. As you can imagine, I really want to get the rest of my tabs back.
How can I restore the rest of the tab groups?
Also, how can I make sure that one of following things happens?:
- Disable the "X" button
- Replace the action of the "X" button with the "Exit" function, such that if I accidentally click the "X", Firefox will exit and save all my tabs for the next session
- Enable the warning about closing multiple tabs, before the tabs are all closed

Thank you for the response, cor-el. Yes, I did look in recently closed tabs and windows. However, the recently closed windows section did not contain the tab groups that I had open previously (it only had two pop-up ads which I was not looking for), and the the recently closed tabs section only contained tabs from one of the tab groups.
All of the "restore from last time" and "warn before closing" options were enabled prior to my accidental close-out, but neither option is working as it should.

Don't use them. If you have created a tab group then delete that group.

Help! How do I exit tab groups and get my session/tabs back. The icon doesn't toggle and instructions don't say how to get back -- first try and I'm stuck.

In the Tab Groups window, I have a Close (X) button in the right upper corner (along with the Minimize and Maximize buttons). Clicking the Close (X) button will return you to your normal browsing session. In addition, SHIFT+CTRL+E will return you to to your normal browsing (SHIFT+CTRL+E also will open the Tab Groups window).

How do I save Tab Group that i have created? So that everytime I open Firefox, it will be there for me rather than I have to re-create again.

I have homepage with multiple sites. I like you Tab Groups which enable me to group those sites under particular group. However, I found that the group were gone when i close and open back Firefox.

You can open it back in "about:home" just click "Restore Previous Session" and you will get your group tab back.

How to restore saved tab groups in Panorama

I have created multiple tab groups in panorama feature in Firefox 4 beta5. But when i restart my firefox i expected to see my saved groups but didn't get any and i have to create them again.
May be I am bit ignorant about panorama but i am not able to find any think related to this

For some reason my groups are saving now. Perhaps bcs i no longer have ..clear all history checked under the ..FF Options>Privacy. But i do clean ..Everything except ..Form Search History under the ..Tools>Clear Recent History FF Menu. I dont know why this is working but it is for now.
The MAJOR Change I made was, as i also use Tab Mix Plus, was to turn off TMP Sessions and switched back to FF Sessions handler. Also instead of opening the last session ..i open the Home Page option where i have a couple tabs/pages set as home.

New Install - How do I rearrange tab groups?

I'm a CFEclipse user now trying CF Builder 2.
I use a twin monitor setup and open the IDE across both. I prefer to see my HTML Preview on the right side so that I can easily refer to it while editing code.
In Builder, I can't figure out how to get the browser tabs on the right side and the editor on the left. It seems that the browser tabs are required to be in the same group as the editor, meaning that one can not see both at the same time.
Can that be so?
Any assistance in overcoming this apparent limitation will be most appreciated!

How to Default sales office and group in Organisation tab of crmd_order

Hi Experts,
In crmd_order transaction when user enters sold-to-party, then organisational determination takes place which brings sales area,distribution channel and division automatically under organisation tab.
My requirement is to fetch the correspoding value of sales office and sales group for that Org unit and display them in the organisation tab.
My logic goes like this:
1) I have to fetch the sales office and sales group from the master data of ship to party ( i.e. bp with ship to party role).
2) Then Give the sales area key( org unit, distribution, division) to fetch/filter and display the sales office and sales group.
Which function modules to use to make the above 2 steps work. What code to write to make the above two steps work.
I did not find any FM that takes bp with ship to party role and gives back the org unit data alongwith sales office and sales group.
Then, how to link BP with role ship to party with Organisation Unit and then take the org key to read the org data.
Which tables and FMs should I consider for this. I am thinking of using the merge method of CRM_ORGMAN_BADI.

Hi Sangeeta,
As per your statement, my understanding is that the Organization Attributes are not maintained in the Customization. If all the values are properly maintained then based on the Organization Data determination, the system would have picked up the data. You can first check the Organization Structure and see all the attributes are properly maintained or not and then check whether the Object Permitted in determination checkbox is checked. Then create a Transaction and see that all the Organization data are getting filled properly.

I love the new Tab Group feature of Firefox 6, but it would be great if I could have new tabs open up in the appropriate group based on a pattern in the URL that I've clicked on. Is this possible?
