How do I output 10 minute versions of my 68 minute video.

I am working on an HP Desktop running windows 7 and Premiere elements 10. My current video is 68 minutes long and I am trying to figure out the best way to output shorter versions. I want 10 minute clips to be bale to load to YouTube without having to delete the rest of the video. Is there a way to hide a portion of the video while I output certain parts of it. Is there a way to copy and paste part of it or a way to delete and bring it all back once I have output the portion I need?

The only way to get 10 mins. from 68 mins., would be to Export/Share/Publish the 68 min. Timeline in basically 10 min. segments, that one could watch sequentially, 01, 02, etc., through 07, or to edit that Timeline much more tightly, to trim it down to 10 mins.

I'm about to upload a video to Utube for the first time. It's very short - a couple of minutes - and the file size is 863.7 MB. Utube allows a file size up to 2GB. I'm wondering about export format from iMovie. Since the video is so short and under 2 GB, I exported it at Full Quality. Is that going to work on Utube? I just tried to start the upload process onto Utube but it seemed like it was going to take quite a long while. Is that to be expected? I canceled the upload and decided I better ask you.
If I need to export at a different quality level, please advise. Video is HDV. I tried exporting at iMovie's "email" setting (video was way too small) and then the "web streaming" level (video was still pretty small and the resolution wasn't good). So that's why I thought I'd go with "full quality" since it's such a short video.

You could plug the device into the laptop via USB and you will see the device show up and you can browse to the file and copy to your computer. If it isn't too large you can email to your self. If you don't have a USB cable handy but have your phone connected to wifi you can install WiFi File Explorer - Android Apps on Google Play
and once you run it you can then use a web browser to browse the files on your phone and download to your phone.

If it is a thunderbolt version of the apple 27" display, you don't. The TB displays can only work with a TB source.
I also think you are out of luck with the mini-displayport versions of the apple 27" as well. This would imply converting an analog VGA output to a digital input of the 27". I suspect that there is not enough data supplied by VGA for that to work and I do not believe any adapters exist for this.

Is the output of java -version reliable?

As part of an installer, I'm trying to write a script to check that the user's JRE is recent enough. With all JRE's I tried I noticed that the first line of output from: java -version is always of the form: java version "1.3.1" Can I rely on this to always be the case? I had a look through some of the specifications, but they are more concerned with how the JRE runs, not how you invoke it.

I need to track which computers have which version for Licensing and update purposes. I use Dell K1000 for tracking and updating. With Acrobat XI, Pro and Standard had different uninstall registry keys so I was able to track them with a simple check for which registry key was on the computer. They would also show up separately in Dell Case stating Pro or Standard. However, With Acrobat DC the uninstall keys are the same and they both only show up as Acrobat DC in Dell K1000. How does Acrobat DC determine which version is installed and how can I duplicate it so I can count used license and install the correct updates?

All Photoshop versions through CS6 came with platform-specific licenses, either Windows or PC. You could get a cross-grade of platform swap at a nominal cost but not for older versions, only for whatever Photoshop versions was current at the time.
CS3 is totally out of the upgrade or cross-grade loop. You'd have to buy a new license for CS6 Mac or subscribe to Photoshop CC, as Trevor points out.
Curt Y is correct in that CS2 will not run on current Mac-Intel machines. You would need a used Mac G5 or G4 with a PowerPC (IBM) CPU, which have been obsolete since mid 2006.
Of course, you could run your Windows on your Mac if you installed and ran BootCamp or Parallells.

As of Firefox 4.0 and newer one needs at least OSX 10.5+ and Intel hardware.
The latest you can use on your Intel with OSX 10.4.11 is Firefox 3.6.25 (released recently) which can be found at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
If you were to update to say OSX 10.5.8 then you can use Firefox 9.0.1
