How do I overlay a timer counting down on a Keynote slide?

Hello!
I am searching for a way (app or otherwise) to have a timer counting down while in "full screen" mode in Keynote. I am an urban educator, and I've found it very effective in having a stunning image on the smartboard via Keynote, in order to focus engagement while the students enter my classroom. I would love to also have a timer overlayed on that slide somewhere (right hand corner likely) counting down - so students know how much time they have to socilize and become situated before class "officially" begins.

My brain got fried with all of the previous SWFLoader positioning and centering - so much that I had to stop and clear my head and then this became an easy case of putting the HGroup and the Logo inside a BorderContainer. I had inadvertently placed the Logo inside of HBox.

Time count down problem

Hi,
Please I need help with time count down display.
I am using a state machine. In one of the cases ‘rest’ time is calculated. In the next case the vi waits for the ‘rest’ period to expire before continuing with the next case (the stop button should remain active the entire time). The ‘rest’ time count down should be displayed.
I tried to use Elapsed Time.vi but it works properly only the first time around. Can somebody please help me? I am attaching a sample VI.
Also how can I accomplish displaying the Program Run Time with no interruptions?

It is because you have the Elapsed Time Timer set to Auto-Reset. As soon as the time has elapsed, it will start counting again.
Turn off Auto-reset. Put a True value into a shift register in the state that leads into the DoSomething2, wire that shift register to the Reset input. Let the default be False for all other cases of the state machine.
Now when you get ready to go to that state, the True value placed into the shift register will reset the timer.

How to add an "age / time counter" into DW?

Can anyone assist on how to add an age / time counter into DW?
In other words to say "Child X is now a years, b months old"? or "Product Z was launched A years B months ago"? Or, on the other hand, "You only have Z days & Y minutes left to enter"? With it updating in real time?

This isn't something you would add to DW, you would need to add it to your webpages. You would do this with javascript. Search the web for
'javascript countdown timer' for plenty of examples.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

You need to place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore it via iTunes on yur computer. You can restore from backup if you have a backup. For recovery mode see:

I am trying to make a video from the films that i recorded while skiing, and i was wondering how i would add an old movie count down into Final Cut Pro X, becasue i cant seem to find anywhere that does it.

No possible.... You'll need to jot them down manually. Very painful especially if your dealing with a 2hr long DVD

I am thinking to write a code by using JSP to count down Date and Time. I have one field in my microsoft access format as Date/Time. I want to get the remain time by using the time in my microsoft access minus the current time in the machine and then count down the remain time.

How to stop the "Elapsed Time" counting without stop the program running?

我使用Labview 8.2，配合USB DAQ來做測試治具。目的：
當檢測到某個電壓（Analog Input）到達某個電壓值（5V）之後，開始啟動計時。若是在15秒之內，另一個電壓值降為0之後為正常，此時停止計時（但是數值不能歸零）；若是超過15秒還沒有降到0伏，則表示錯誤，此時亮起紅色 indicator警示，但是時間仍然繼續計時，直到電壓降到0為止才停（但是數值不能歸零）。
我使用 Elapsed Time 模組來使用，可是問題是如何讓該模組停止計時同時不能將時間歸零？因為此模組只有 "Reset" 控制功能，一但將條件結果輸入到 Reset input 之後，電壓達到零之後就會將此 Elapsed Time 歸零了。有沒有解決辦法？

Elapsed Time 確實會將時間reset,如果你想要保留時間的話其實有很多做法
例如使用 tick count,他會顯示出相對時間數值，先放一個tick count在迴圈開始前
記得用sequence以確保他會在回區尚未開始運作前先記錄時間
然後再放一個tick count在迴圈內，再用case或select讓電壓等於零時記錄下tick count的值
再將兩者相減即可

How TDS Reverse at the time of Down Payment Clearing F54

Dear Friends,
Please let me know what is the process or configuration we have to do for clear TDS in F-54.
my scenario is I made down payment of Rs. 10000/- with TDS.
next we are doing MIRO for Rs. 50000/- with TDS full amount
Then I m adjusting down payment against Invoice no. which I deduct TDS for Rs. 10000/-in F-54
in this transaction TDS should be reverse for Rs.10000/-
I checked tax type for payment as central invoice processing. but it is also not working.
Please anyone know regarding this issue let me know.

Hi,
After MIRO posting, please note the following method :
F-54 - Enter all the header data details, Vendor Code, Enter the relevant Document (Invoice) No.which you need to adjust with Down Payment (10000) made.
Select to Process down payments
The next screen shows the down payment document no. and it shows amount & available amount by line item wise.      Amount & available column shows as 10000.
Select the relevant down payment line item and double click in the last tab "Transfer Posting"
This tab shows the final amount (after adjusting down payment).
Go to left side corner and through pull down menu select "document" and "simulate"
The document shows the overview of the reversal entry for the relevant down payment with TDS amount.
Please ensure that the tax line items display.
If you are not getting the tax line items overview, go to document and select "simulate" once again.
Finally, the document display all the line items including tax line items with blue colour.
Double click relevant line item and enter your text "Adv adjusted for doc ref......"
Simulate and post.
Result:
Then you check through FBL1N for the relevant vendor, the open item shows only 40000 after adjusting the down payment.
The cleared line item shows both down payment as well as cleared payments.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Do you want static screen captures or motion video of slides as titles, bullet points, and the like are presented?
Run the Keynote slide presentation in full-screen mode, then...
Static full-screen captures - use Command+Shift+3.
Static partial-screen captures - use Command+Shift+4 and use cursor to select the area of the screen to capture.
If you want motion video as builds occur, why not use Keynote's built-in Share, Export function?
(I'm on iLife '09.)
Also understand that the default slide format for Keynote is 1024x768, not full-screen MacBook 1280x800 screen size, so you'll have wide black borders unless you change the default size or crop the finished screen captures.

1) I know my "profile" indicates I'm on Mountain Lion. I have not figured out how to update that. I am using Yosemite and Keynote Version 6.5.2 on a 15" Macbook-Pro (tell me how to update my profile, please - nothing I click on opens any kind of "edit" options)
2) My 20 sec video does play in Quicktime. I find nothing in the Quicktime Inspector about deselecting "start movie on click."
3) in my slide presentation I can insert the video on a slide okay and if I click on it can get it to play, But I cannot seem to get it to play after a transition automatically. Maybe it cannot be done. Obviously I would like the entire presentation to play automatically without clicking on or between slides.

How to change ADF default session time out behavior to count down

the ADF default session time out will show a message before some time set in the web.xml , after this time anther alert will show the time out message.
But our recruitment what use one message dialog first show the session will be out then count down the time at last show the session time out message.
Dose ADF provide interface to change this ?

If using pure JS and Html I can write thousand way to implement session time out function , but we use ADF :
ADF limit user to do a lot of thing but only use itself way , it is very hard to change its component's behavior and also hard to get doc introducing how to change its behavior though it can be change.
So what I want to know if there any interface ADF left to change itself session time out behavior , I think your answer is no.

Count down timer

I need some help. I have a web site that till tell the blight
of cats and
dogs in shelter and rescues that have a short time to live
before they are
put down to make room for other stray pets.
I need a dynamic countdown timer in black with white numbers
that countdown
days, hours, and minutes (possibly seconds for dramatic
effect). Anywhere I
can find such a movie? I found a bunch of cheesy ones online
and a bunch
that do way too much.
When the rescue or shelter moves the pet to LCP status, they
will enter a
date into the database. I need the time to use that as the
starting point
and count down till that date and time arrives. I am using
coldfusion as the
dev coding for the site.
Please let me know where I can find such a movie or how much
it will cost to
have one done.

Can someone help me with a count down time.
in 30 secs or so. It will alarm and stopped.
can someone show me how to
1. turn on alarm.
2. stop alarm (automatically)
and repeat count down till stop button is pushed.
i am not too familiar with RUN COMMAND. how would i automatically tell it to stop alarming after it was turned on?

To play the alarm use Play Sound File.vi from the Graphic and Sound palette (Sound - Output sub-palette). After this vi you can set another countdown for the duration of the alarm and then use the Sound Output Clear.vi to stop the alarm from playing.
For the countdown you can also used the Elapsed TIme express vi. For the GUI to be responsive never set a large loop time wait, loop every 100ms and check if stop was pressed or time is elapsed.
