Pair Bluetooth headphones with iPod touch:
1. Follow the instructions that came with the headphones to make them discoverable.
2. In Settings, choose General > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.
3. Select the headphones and, if prompted, enter the passkey or PIN number. See the instructions about the passkey or PIN that came with your headphones.
4. After you pair headphones with iPod touch, the product name and a Bluetooth audio icon appear on the screen when you are viewing audio or video playback controls.
5. Tap the bluetooth icon to switch to a different audio output, such as the internal speaker.

However, I do not see any application that will allow me to pair the headset. I do see an application to transfer files over bluetooth. I don't see bluetooth device in the system. Thought the specs say bluetooth should be present.

Look into tray menu or press the wireless-FN-button and see if has been deactivated...

Hi - I have a Lenovo T440P and I was able to install my Bose Bluetooth speaker. But it doesn't play through them even though it shows Speakers as the default audio device. I called up Bose and they told me to check and install A2DP bluetooth drivers. Can someone help me get the required drivers. Thanks

The Apple remote uses IR and the iPod does not have IR capibility. Apple does sell a universal Dock that allow some remote control.

But I can't enter any right codes the Avantree Saturn needed ("0000","1111",.....). Or where can I find the information to solve the problem? Thanks!

I am able to pair up my samsung bluetooth headset with my other phone. Once I try to connect it with my iphone, my iphone just showing searching forever.

I have the same headset and paired it successfully using these steps:
1) Put iPhone in bluetooth discovery mode (Settings > General > Bluetooth > On). While on this page your iphone will have bluetooth visibility on and will search for devices.
2) Put your samsung headset in discovery mode by holding down the large button for 10 seconds. You should see a constant blue light (not flashing).
3) Your iPhone should detect the headset and ask for a pin code, enter 0000.
4) Your headset should now show as being paired with the iPhone.

Yes I tried pairing with my bluetooth car hands-free set - Not discoverable.
I tried to pair with my bluetooth headset - Also not discoverable.
I have no problem with my other apple products my older ipad2 and my current iphone5.
Just this ipad mini retina display could not discover the above bluetooth device.

What do you mean by "pair"? If you're asking about Bluetooth pairing, the only thing you could do if you paired them would be to share the iPad's internet connection. iOS doesn't have the BT profiles for file sharing or syncing.
If you're asking about something different, please provide some details.

Can I share a bluetooth headset with my iPhone 4 and my Mac? I don't mean both at the same time. I just think it's silly to buy a separate headset for each. I'd like to be able to sometimes use the headset with my Mac and other times use it with my iPhone. Is this possible? How hard is it to set up and is it annoying to switch over from one to the other.
The headset would be used 75% of the time with my iPhone.

Contacts can be synced direct with Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 via the iTunes sync process along with syncing calendar events, notes, and reminders. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
If you don't use Outlook for contacts - your Outlook address book is empty, before the first sync for this data enter one contact in the Outlook address book. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data.
Or if your iPhone 4 is running iOS 6, you can create your hotmail account using the hotmail account preset with the iPhone's Mail app per the instructions included with this link. If your iPhone 4 is not running iOS 6, you will need to manually create the account as an Exchange account.
