How do I paste PDF link address into Adobe Reader Touch?

Hi anyone,
How do I paste a link naddress into Adobe Reader Touch?
Richard

"paste a link address" - Do you mean adding a new hyperlink to a PDF document in Adobe Reader Touch?
Adobe Reader Touch is a simple PDF viewer and does not support creation of new hyperlinks.

    Hyperlinks can be of several types. What are you linking to? Exactly what
    application did you test the hyperlinks with on the Mac? What application
    did you use to create the hyperlinks?

  • How to disable Display PDF in Browser in Adobe Reader XI?

    I am having troubles with opening a report in PDF form from a web browser, and I'm trying to figure out how to disable opening a PDF in a browser in Reader XI.  I tried disabling "Open in Read Mode" and "Allow Fast Web View" both individually and seperately, and none of those combinations did the trick.
    Any suggestions/help are appreciated.  Thanks.

    Hello Lloyd6770
    Try these steps.  ( I'm using Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Internet Explorer 9,  and Adobe XI )
    1. Open Adobe XI
    2. Click Edit
    3. Click Accessibility
    4. Click Setup Assistant
    5. Click top radio button 'Set Options for Screen Readers'
    6. Click Next
    7. Do not change options on Screen 2 of 4, Click Next
    8. Do not change options on Screen 3 of 4, Click Next
    9. On screen 4 of 4, remove the check mark on ' Display PDF documents in the web browser '
    NOTE: I checked Internet Explorer 9 / Tools / Manage add-ons and Adobe PDF Link Helper is still enabled in Internet Explorer 9.
    PDF's will open in Adobe XI as you preferred and not in your brower.
    Cheers!

  • How to Print a PDF programmatically without the Adobe Reader Window

    Hi,
    I'm trying to print a PDF my application. I would prefer to do it as silent as possible - no PrintDialogue | Adobe Reader Window.
    Language C#
    Adobe Reader 10.0
    Here´s some Code:
    public static void PrintPDF(string file, string printerName)
    Process proc = new Process();
    proc.StartInfo.FileName = @"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 10.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe";
    proc.StartInfo.Arguments = @" /t /h " + "\"" + file + "\"" + " " + "\"" + printerName + "\"";
    proc.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = true;
    proc.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = true;
    proc.Start();
    Thread.Sleep(1000);
    proc.WaitForInputIdle();
    proc.Kill();
    It works, but the Adobe Reader Window is still popping up -> /h (start the reader minimized) does not work.
    Is there another way to hide the Window ?
    Regards

    Hi,
    I am developing an application, which have to support a PDF print. My result after searching for the best possibilities is this snippet:
    public static void PrintPDF(string path, string printer)
    Process process = new Process();
    process.StartInfo.FileName = path;
    process.StartInfo.Verb = "printto";
    process.StartInfo.Arguments = "\"" + printerName + "\"";
    process.Start();
    // I have to use this in case of Adobe Reader to close the window
    process.WaitForInputIdle();
    process.Kill();
    This is the most generic solution - it prints a pdf unless no matter wich reader is installed.
    Only deficit - the Adobe Reader window still pops up. Why it does not behave like it´s alternatives (for example Foxit Reader) and print the PDF without popping up ?
    Regards

    But in Livecycle Designer9,I don't know how to do.

    Hi,
    Do you mean "open in full screen mode"?
    If so there is an example here: https://acrobat.com/#d=JK2I24ZgmsvMr6BtCQNMOg
    The script is in buttons to show the separate functions, but you can combine the ones you want in the docReady event.
    Hope that helps,

  • Openning locked pdf files on my adobe reader touch

    I have a  Windows RT 8.1 Tablet
    NVIDIA (R) TEGRA (R) 3, Quad Core CPU 1.30 GHz
    2.00 GB 32-Bit Operating System ARM- based processor
    Pen and Touch: Full Windows Touch with 5 Touch Points
    I cannot access pdf files that are loccked on my school website, and as these are textbooks I need the access. How do I get them to unlock and save? I also do not know what type of Stylus would work for my tablet

    If you mean password protected PDF files, if you know the password, you should be able to open it - at least as far as I know. But .... You will need the password.

  • How can I do a Save As with Adobe Reader Touch?

    Is there a way to do a File Save As with Touch?

    The Save As button is always available in the bottom toolbar of the document window.  In contrast, the Save button is visible only when a document has changed.
    To open the toolbar, you can
    Touch: Swipe up from the bottom edge.
    Mouse: Right-click with a mouse.
    Keyboard: Press the Windows key + Z.
    then tap/click the Save As button and select the new location.

  • How paste PDF page into Adobe Reader?

    I have copied a table from a web page that has a PDF button, but how do I paste that into Adobe Reader?

    I do not quite understand the "table with a PDF button"; but if this is a linked or embedded PDF file, just download the file and open it with Adobe Reader.
    If it is just a normal (HTML) table, you can copy and paste it into any document editor like Word, etc.

  • How do you remap the F1 key to paste your email address into a textbox on a website?

    I would like to know if FIREFOX allows keys to be remapped. I want to be able to make the F1 key paste my email address into a textbox on a website to make it easier to type stuff. I have seen other programs that allow you to "remap" the keyboard and I wanted to know if FIREFOX allows this or not?

    According to this: [[Keyboard shortcuts]], it is not possible.

  • How do i paste a web address in an e-mail so the receiver can click on it and be taken direct to the site. The sites i paste in are not 'live' - they require the user to paste the address in the browser window

    i cannot figure out how to cut and paste a website address into an e-mail so that it is a 'live' link
    how do i do this?

    By the way, FredMcD's suggestion is designed to work with the built-in "Email Link" feature which is not on the right-click menu. Instead, you can access it using the classic File menu:
    * tap the Alt key to activate the menu bar > File > Email Link
    There also is a button available if you want this on the toolbar or the application menu displayed when you click the "3-bar" menu button on the toolbar. To get that button and move it where you want it, use the Customize feature. See: [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars]].
    That said, Yahoo's more modern email might have stopped working with that feature, so getting the toolbar back in operation really is the best solution.

  • New document alert: How to get PDF documents into Adobe Reader for iOS

    Opening PDF Files in Reader for iOS (iPhone and iPad) has been very helpful to many users of Adobe Reader for iOS.  However, Apple has drastically changed the user interface in iOS 7, which made the original document obsolete.
    According to Apple Developer Support's App Store Distribution page, 89% of devices connected to the App Store are using iOS 7 during a 7‑day period ending June 29, 2014.
    Because of the exceptionally high iOS 7 adoption rate, Adobe Reader for iOS version 11.3 now supports iOS 7 only.
    Here are the new How-To documents for iOS 7.
    How to get PDF documents into Adobe Reader for iOS (iPad on iOS 7 version)
    How to get PDF documents into Adobe Reader for iOS (iPhone on iOS 7 version)
    (It had to be split into two separate documents because each contains way too many screenshots.)
    Hope these documents are as helpful as the original one.
    Please let us know if you have any feedback or suggestions on the topics for other help documents/tutorials.

    Dennis (or any Adobe rep),
    Any updates to the OP's question? I'm with a large government agency, and we're moving away from GoodReader for reasons I can't go into here, and the ability to add user-defined bookmarks within the app is a mandatory feature for the document reader we select. I have the latest version of Adobe Reader (11.6.1) installed on my government iPad, and the ability to add user-defined bookmarks still seems to be missing. Does Adobe have any plans to add this feature, or is it already present and I'm simply overlooking it?
    Thanks,
    Cam
