How do i permanently get my music from iCloud to my IOS device

I want to be able to listen to my music on planes or where there is no internet. How do I permanently download all my music to my devices?

I have this question, too.
There has to be a better (ie, easier) way than clicking each-and-every song individually to start the download. But all of my searches (and I'm usually pretty good at ferretting out answers) have come up null.
So -- how do you "select all" and download from iCloud to your hard drive (laptop, not iOS device) with one click?

The simplest solution would to restore from your back up - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4112
If you do not have a back, you can select first track on list in song view, from menu > edit > select all. Next ctrl+click and select download from pop up. You may wish to do this in small batches as it will take some time to download.

If the music is on your phone, another option is to authorize your computer for the Apple ID(s) used to purchase the music (in iTunes, Store>Authorize This Computer), then connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.

You created a new AppleID?
Why not simply update your old AppleID so you have only one iTunes account?

Or are you connecting to you computer? If the latter move the music from the Cloud to your iTunes library then sync to your iPod.

HT4796 i have successfully migrated the music but it just shows up in my files and has not updated my iTunes library which is still getting the music from iCloud and is not using the migrated files. Any ideas?

I have successfully used windows migration software to move my music library from a PC to my MacBook Air.
However the music files are just stored in my file system and have not updated my itunes files. Itunes is still getting the music down from icloud instead of using the music files.

If you're using Windows Movie Maker and HP Photo to build slide shows, this is not an iPod touch issue (nor an iTunes issue), so I'd suggest you take up the problem on a web site that deals with Movie Maker or HP Photo issues. It's really not something we can help with in this forum.
If you're building this slide show on your iPod, please post back and tell us what app(s) you're trying to use, and whether the iPod app on your iPod touch shows and plays your songs correctly. Knowing the specific model of iPod you have and the version of iOS it's running will probably also help.

I have problems in getting files opened on computer from Icloud. For both Pages and Keynote. Happens when they have been opened on Iphone og Ipad

I had this problem this morning also - couldn't open a Numbers file on my mac. It hasn't been used on ipad or iphone but was shared with another mac user who accessed yesterday. Now I also can't save a text edit file. It is sitting on my screen but when I go to save it I get a message saying "the file untitled.rtf couldn't be opened". My other numbers files (not shared) in icloud also get the same message when I try to open them. I think this is an icloud server problem. Hopefully they will fix it quickly. I can open the files by going to icloud.com and using the webapps.

My iPod touch is almost full - I don't have enough space to upgrade to the latest iOS 5 version. Most of the storage is music that I rarely listen to. Since all of my music is already being backed up to iCloud, is there a way to specify which music I want to keep on my iOS device? That would give me more storage for other things, like apps and the new version of iOS 5.

Songs that you bought on iTunes which do not have the cloud symbol next to it are already downloaded to your device (and of course using space of your device). If you no longer want them on your device, you could simply delete them from your device and re-download them again.
