How do I permanently remove a name from a group list?

I would like to permanently remove a name from a group list. I have highlighted and deleted and it still won't go away. I have deleted him from my address book but I cannot remove him from the group list.

There is the mailing list stored (which addressbook)? Perhaps the addressbook is read-only or unavailable?

How do I permanently remove a location from Places?

Whenever I assign photos to Stratford-upon-Avon, Aperture insists that Stratford-upon-Avon is a location in a the city of Shottery. This is not correct: Shottery is a former village, now apparently considered a part of Stratford-upon-Avon. (I was recently in Stratford-upon-Avon but did not in fact go to Shottery.)
I have repeatedly removed both locations (Stratford-upon-Avon and Shottery), both with the map and with Metadata > Manage My Places..., and Shottery then disappears from the Places Path Navigator pop-up-menus. But when I make a new location for these photos, Shottery comes back: the button on the map is called Shottery until I zoom in enough to separate the locations, and Shottery appears again as a city in the Navigator pop-up-menu, with my location only a place within Shottery. I've even varied the name of my location, to no avail.
Google Maps knows that Shottery is a part of Stratford-upon-Avon, but Aperture seems to insist that the reverse is true. It's as if New York were a location within the city of Greenwich Village. This is maddening, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or failing to do. Can anyone help me?

I have 10 email accounts and would like to sync them all - unfortunately being new to Android and Firefox sync I started with Googlemail so I already had installed a couple of Google mail accounts when I found the Firefox options which were much simpler. I find I've now 2 email accounts each with the same 2 addresses. I thought I'd start again - i ditched Firefox on my Neuropad and unsynced my desktop, re-installed firefox on my neuropad but all the accounts reappeared. Please advise..

If I am on another computer, I will open Firefox ... enter the master password ... and move on as usual? ... because all this is on Firefox servers.
Small confusion ... scenario ... I am to work on a computer without Firefox installed, and I may not install it. What do I do (say, to get on Yahoo mail) or anywhere else?

Unfortunately that was empty too. The Firefox upgrade at that time seemed to wipe an awful lot of stuff. After searching, re-installing etc, whatever was suggested, I gave up. It was a while back. I will remember your suggestions if it ever (hopefully not) happens again though. I did have a very old bookmarks backup, but that would not import, so I did use bits of it manually but it had saved as a massive merged line of sites without my folders, so was a bit too much to fiddle with. The loss of the classical music sites was what I regretted most, no idea what they were called and cannot find some of them now. Ah well, no point in fretting about it now I suppose.

Apps don't operate in the cloud - they're either downloaded to your device, or they're in your Purchased list. You can't permanently remove the history of apps you've purchased, but you can hide them. See this link:

I have not and am not going to pay for Match. I want to get of of these songs for good. I have spent a good part of my evening trying to figure this out then finally found this page which confirms what I was thinking... It doesn't appear possible! ARHHHH!!! There are loads of posts saying how you can do this, when what they appear to be describing is how to remove the apps from their iphone/ipad and not actually from the list of every app you have ever installed which appears when you go into the "Apps Store" > Updates > Not on this iPhone.
It would be really nice to be able to remove programs from this list as I am sure I am not the only person who over the years have installed some apps which where not very good and I don't want to be reminded of them or to ever see them again quite frankly.
I can do this very easily from my Android phone in Google Play which is Google's version of the App Store.
I think things like this remind me why I prefer the ease of use of my Android phone... Ho hum! Maybe one day some geeks at Apple will realise that this would actually be a really useful thing to be able to do and enable it.
