How do I permanently remove email accounts from firefox sync on Android ics?

I have 10 email accounts and would like to sync them all - unfortunately being new to Android and Firefox sync I started with Googlemail so I already had installed a couple of Google mail accounts when I found the Firefox options which were much simpler. I find I've now 2 email accounts each with the same 2 addresses. I thought I'd start again - i ditched Firefox on my Neuropad and unsynced my desktop, re-installed firefox on my neuropad but all the accounts reappeared. Please advise..

About the "enter email address" ... gee, how did I think Firefox was going to be able to communicate with me?
So... I go to the AOL mailbox, sign in as usual, the little box is coming down, and I click on save ... ah ha
If I am on another computer, I will open Firefox ... enter the master password ... and move on as usual? ... because all this is on Firefox servers.
Small confusion ... scenario ... I am to work on a computer without Firefox installed, and I may not install it. What do I do (say, to get on Yahoo mail) or anywhere else?

The largest difference between the old Mozilla Suite and Firefox, is that Firefox doesn't do email. Look into installing Thunderbird, the Mozilla messaging application.<br />

How can I remove email account from an iphone but leave it on another?

Can anyone advise me if I delete an email account from one iPhone will it still be available on another iPhone. I've upgraded my phone but am giving my old iPhone to my husband but want to remove as many emails to save on memory for him, but when I delete from the old iPhone, the same emails are deleted from my new iPhone.
I have seen that the account can be deleted, but don't want to delete it without knowing whether it will leave the account still on my new iPhone.
Has anyone had experience of this, and can you advise me what I need to do?

Delete it the same way you added it. There should be an icon on your home screen for "Setup Internet Email" or "Manage Internet Email" and you can use that to delete your email account from the BIS system.

I would like to permanently remove a name from a group list. I have highlighted and deleted and it still won't go away. I have deleted him from my address book but I cannot remove him from the group list.

There is the mailing list stored (which addressbook)? Perhaps the addressbook is read-only or unavailable?

I removed all my push mail accounts and went manual because my battery life is longer that way. I also purged my account from email.nokia.com. Recently, my IMAP mail from google stop working. I thought it was because of some corrupted data in the phone, so I tried removing and recreating the mailbox numerous times, reboot and all but nothing works. It simply doesn't get mails past a certain date/time.
I did a hard reset, shift+space+backspace+poweron and re-setup everything. I still encountered the same problem on my E72. So I did a restore using the Ovi application. Nightmare begins.
I restored the 'push mail' accounts which no longer exist because I have previously removed them from email.nokia.com. Now when I try to remove the mailbox, it says 'you need to connect to xx to remove it.' Obviously I cannot connect because that account no longer exists. And the 2 mailboxes spam me with prompts for passwords and neither can log on. I had to hard-reset again and setup everything from scratch thanks to this stupid problem.
I eventually traced the problem to 2 emails which are exceptionally long. People just reply and reply and reply until the mail became about 20 pages long. Let's say I have 30 mails in my gmail 1-30. Mail 10 and 15 are the long ones. If I sync, it will only retrieve 1-9, then get stuck there. If I go to gmail to delete 10, it will sync until 14 then get stuck there. When it is 'stuck', it just connects and disconnects right away, without attempting to retrieve my mail 16-30.
I tried again using pushmail. Push mail works with that large mail 15 probabaly because it is retrieved server-side.
Please advise. How to solve these issues? It is quite frustrating... I don't want to use google's gmail application because you can't save attachments with that. And PDFs all become text files in gmail app's viewer.

Open Mail on the old laptop and in the Accounts section of its preferences click on your email account and then on the "-" button at the bottom. Then go into the User/Library folder and delete the Mail folder to remove all the old emails.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. How do I completely remove Yahoo account from Macbook

I added a Yahoo account to my Apple Mail on my Macbook Pro the other day. Up until now I have just gotten it from Yahoo's website.
I think somehow there is some corruption to the Yahoo account because it does not receive email reliably. My iPhone and iPad receive the Yahoo mail fine and the Macbook Mail works fine for my other accounts (my company email, Comcast and my Apple Cloud account).
I tried to delete the account, but I suspect that deleting the account really only deletes it visably even though it says that all data is going to be removed. I say this because if I re-add it, all the messages are nearly instantly there again (and there are thousands).
How do I remove all traces of the Yahoo account in Apple Mail so I can create it from scratch.

Found the solution...
I was told that the server for the iPhone and iPad is different than the one used for the Macbook. I believe that since they work so differently. The iPhone and iPad do not appear to download the entire inbox database, but the Macbook mail DOES. I know because it is working hours (or maybe even days) downloading messages if you have a large database like I did. My message database had over 50,000 messages. It never bothered me and I get probably hundreds a day, so I only scan them. I do not delete or move any of them. It would take me 10 times the effort to manage email messages.
A solution was to move all but the recent emails in my inbox to a read saved mailbox. I could have deleted it, but since Yahoo said that I had only used 0.45% of my allotted space, why not keep everything. After moving all but a few month's of email, it is working well now.
For the life of me, I don't know why all the inbox mail is downloaded to my Macbook computer. That seems at odds with the spirit of IMAP which is suposed to keep the messages on the server. Why duplicate it on my Mac? Something Mac mail should review...
