How do I permanently REMOVE the Face Recognition program in Windows 8.1?

I want to Uninstall, permanently REMOVE, the Face Recognition program from Windows 8.1. When I select this program from the list of all programs displayed, I am not given an "uninstall" option, only the option to "change", which
then begins to install. I was able to uninstall once before, but somehow the program was placed back onto my computer and now the "uninstall" option is no longer available. Thanks!

What is your current situation?
Have you tried the solution as MVP Cyber_Defend_Team mentioned?
Do this program preinstalled? If yes, we need to contact the manufacturer to receive better support.
If my understanding is right, you uninstalled it once, but the program was back and only the option to ‘change’.
Could you please provide us a screenshot to avoid misunderstanding if you willing to?
Can you run the program? If the program runs in the startup, we could use the tool System Configuration (msconfig) to disable apps or services that normally run at startup.

How to reset the Face Recognition on folder to start the search/detection over again.

I was going along fine (though very slowly) and had 5000 photos identified as my son. Hours later I was down to a few handful of photo and did a select all and dragged then to my son's named photo. After that I can still see all the photos of him, but Lightroom does not look to detect face on any of the pictures. I tried Photos--> People and all is greyed out. The first run through it detected them (until I did the Select all) and all the photos are still there. It is like Lightroom does not think there are people in the picture and there are , or it thinks that it already analyzed them and will keep doing so.
Is there a way to tell Lightroom to re-analyse this folder (5k of photos) to look for people again. Lightroom seems to have forgotten the Face Regions?
All the other proper in the 5K photos are designed correctly.

I agree with Zim. When you start Toshiba Face recognition tool click on option register Face.
On the right side click on Next and start to practice the face recognition option. For the first time using the face recognition, practicing is very useful. If you choose skip the recognition will start without practicing.

Password (inputting through keyboard) is the backup solution when user cannot log-on by face recognition through Web Camera.

Removing the face identification squares?

I ran the facial recognition software on all my photos, not realizing the several thousand faces that would be identified, and then subsequently gone through and labeled. I would like to remove all the "face squares" from the photos, but as can be seen by this request for help, I have not been successful. I have created a new catalog, and deleted the old, I have removed all the photos from the program, and I uninstalled and reinstalled. When the photos are reintroduced, however, the “face squares” are still automatically there. Permanently, it seems. I’m assuming the information then is now either in the picture files or attached to the photos themselves. I’ve not been able to discover anything with Google or Bing, but it may be a matter of just not using the correct search words. With that context, Is there a way to remove the face identification squares?

Assuming that you are talking about PSE 11, to hide the face squares, go to the View menu and uncheck People Recognition.
If you want to stop People recognition in the future go to Edit -> Preferences -> Media-analysis and uncheck the option there.

I am running Firefox 15.0.1 on Mac OS 10.6.8. A window continues to pop up that reads, "Authentication Required" and "Enter username and password for ftp://ftp.radiogarage.com". This happens every time Firefox is opened and continues to pop up approximately every 30-60 seconds until I close Firefox. How do I permanently remove/delete/get rid of this pop up window? It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Unfortunately that was empty too. The Firefox upgrade at that time seemed to wipe an awful lot of stuff. After searching, re-installing etc, whatever was suggested, I gave up. It was a while back. I will remember your suggestions if it ever (hopefully not) happens again though. I did have a very old bookmarks backup, but that would not import, so I did use bits of it manually but it had saved as a massive merged line of sites without my folders, so was a bit too much to fiddle with. The loss of the classical music sites was what I regretted most, no idea what they were called and cannot find some of them now. Ah well, no point in fretting about it now I suppose.

When you have deleted them, does it come up with 'Do you still want this APP to be in Notification / Game Centre', if so you should have clicked no.
If it didnt, install it again, then un-intall it again REMOVING everything.

Hi. My subject says it all. How can I permanently disable the "fn" key?
At first I thought I had a virus or something because when I typed only weird symbols came out. Then I reset the computer. Then I couldn't even log in. I tried Time Machine etc.
Then I realized that the "fn" key wasn't working right. It seems to be working backwards. It acts like it's being pushed when it's not, and when I do push it it acts like it's not being used.
So it's kind of a simple problem but it's really annoying.
Is there a way I can just disable it permanently? Even physical force if necessary. I tried to break it but it wouldn't break. I don't really use the key anyway so it doesn't really matter. I don't want to pay a bunch of money to replace a key I don't even use.

That's the best answer. Yeah usually if you press "fn" or "option" you can get it to work for awhile.
Yeah I have considered some kind of external keyboard also. It will make a laptop less laptopish. But it could do the job for awhile.
It's sad because I don't even care about the "fn" or "option" keys.
But anyway it's not catastrophic at least.
And yeah maybe we can get a new computer later or something. I like mine though. It's customized and is how I like it right now.

Since ReminderFox 2.1.4 was installed, I have deselected the 'Status/Add-on Bar Display 'Bow' and text on status bar' numerous times, but the setting never takes effect even after pressing the Apply and OK buttons.
The Add-on Bar, which has always been deselected from the View > Toolbars menu, shows as selected in the menu, and even though I deselect it manually, when I close Firefox and then reopen it, it shows again as selected in the menu.
