When I right click on the tab I can remove it but every time I open Firefox the tab(s) come back again. Thanks

How do I Permanently remove a tab that is called "new tab" but is a Blank Page?

Every time I turn my computer on, I click my Firefox icon in taskbar at bottom, BUT, not only does my homepage tab show up, but lately I have been seeing another tab showing up beside it called "New Tab" but it is Blank. I don't how it all of a sudden showed up, but I can't seem to get rid of it. I right click & "close tab", but I have to do this every time I turn on my computer. Isn't there a way to Permanently Remove this Tab so it doesn't keep showing up on my Tab Bar?

Unfortunately that was empty too. The Firefox upgrade at that time seemed to wipe an awful lot of stuff. After searching, re-installing etc, whatever was suggested, I gave up. It was a while back. I will remember your suggestions if it ever (hopefully not) happens again though. I did have a very old bookmarks backup, but that would not import, so I did use bits of it manually but it had saved as a massive merged line of sites without my folders, so was a bit too much to fiddle with. The loss of the classical music sites was what I regretted most, no idea what they were called and cannot find some of them now. Ah well, no point in fretting about it now I suppose.

we are using CRM 5.0, i want to remove Competitor's TAB from PCUI Opportunity Transaction. i see a option in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction-> Application/Layout->Define layout of the people-centric UI(Customizing tool). here i went to CRMD_BUS2000111-> Version 1-> Static model-> Tabpage groups-> OPP_1: when i clicked on this i got all Tab's details. but when i tried making OPP_HD_COMP "Inactive" and hit Save that Check mark goes away. tried many times but did not help.
then i tried going to CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction->Application element-> tab page group structure->OPP_1: here i dont see any entries. do i have to add all Opportunity Tab's details here or only the Competetor tab details?
Please let me know does anybody see all Tab's data here or you just enter all Tabs data manually in CRM 5.0? also how can i remove Competetors Tab? your help is appreciated and awarded.

Hello Anu,
WHen you are in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C transaction->Application element-> tab page group structure->OPP_1, go to edit mode and import the standard entries from CRMC_BLUEPRINT (on of the buttons on the screen).
Then, for the tab you don't want to see, just put it as inactive (if not possible, just delete the line, you can always come back to the standard by importing the S tables again).

Open Firefox -> Go to View -> Toolbars -> Chechmark on "Navigation Toolbar"
this will bring back your address bar (where you type links to go to websites :P )

That link doesn't tell you how to remove the Panoroma Tab Groups!! My main issue with it is that along my tabs at the top I no longer have the tab to open a new tab. Instead I have to click on the tab groups and then open them and click on an open area in the tab to get a new tab opened!! Is there a way to add that? I don't see that when I go to customize the tool bar as there's no icon to add it, just one to open a new window, which I don't want to do!! Thanks!!

iCloud tabs are removed by closing the open tabs on the devices the tabs are from. This change will sync to iCloud and to your devices. They will eventually be removed on their own if you don't do this (I believe in two weeks).

Log/sign out of his account on the website. At the top of the page it usually says If not XXXX click here (or something like that). You can also manually sign out. Click the My account and at the bottom of the list is the Not XXXXX Sign out.

comment the myTaskHomeOperation managed bean. For inidivual links , comment the respective Task related managed beans from the XMl.
There on, save the changes and update the oim.ear deployment from weblogic admin console.

I hope you are talking about left side frame where we find 2 tabs "transaction" and "Products" in B2B scenario.
There are three files involved but you have to do modification in one file only.
1.) /b2b/organizer-nav-doc-search.jsp
2.) /b2b/organizer_menu.jsp.inc
3.) /appbase/tabstrip.inc.jsp
You are going to do modification in "/appbase/tabstrip.inc.jsp"
Open "/appbase/tabstrip.inc.jsp" file.
Find below line under "inactive menu entry"
String tabItemTxt = WebUtil.translate(pageContext, tabButton.getText(), null);
write below code to remove "Products" tab.

We have made a copy of 0ADHOC - standard web template as Z0ADHOC.
Now we would want to remove the tabs Export to Excel, Export as CSV from thcopied Z0ADHOC.
Can any one help out.

If you look at the Z0ADHOC through the WAD closely in the overview tab, you will find a web item called GR1Toolbar. This is in turn linked to another web template called 0ADHOC_TABLE. Click on GR1Toolbar and view its properties to see this detail. Now if you open the web template 0ADHOC_TABLE in the WAD, you will see soms text elements. The last two:[SAP_BW_TEXT_!IID_546],
[SAP_BW_TEXT_!IID_549] are the ones for export to xl and CSV. Now to achieve this in your scenario, I think you will have to create another Z Template called Z0ADHOC_TABLE, remove these two text elements and then Link it to the template Z0ADHOC. Try this and let me know if it works.

How to remove a tab from Accordion Menu?

I have a page that I am creating for my website which has an accordion menu on it. I originally created the menu in Dreamweaver CS4 using the Spry Accordion Widget, then transferred that code over to the website page. In place of words on the menu, I am using images for each drop down tab. I am trying to remove the last tab in the menu, but every time I do my entire menu no longer functions and the tabs, when clicked, no longer drop down.

Above is the link to the page I am working on. The last tab in the menu is titled TOC Thinking Processes (above the Register Now button). All I want to do is remove that tab, but when I do, the entire menu no longer works.

Never mind, I was able to figure it out. After I had removed lines 631-644 the code had changed for some reason.

I have just updated to Firefox 13.0. I have the AVG Secure Search on my browser or whatever it is that is where the search engines and refresh, and bookmarks icons are located. Even though on my add ons page it says it is disabled. But obviously it isn't because it still works. I have removed AVG Secure Search from the list of search engines in the drop down list in the search bar, but this did not solve the problem with my tabs. The Firefox website says that my Firefox is up to date, but if it is up to date why do I still have the same old tab page when I open a new tab? You only see items on the about:newtab page if the history is enabled and the browsing cache is working (stores thumbnails).
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"

You can check the current cache usage on the about:cache page and in Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage.

How do I permanently remove "Authentication Required" window that continues to pop up?

I am running Firefox 15.0.1 on Mac OS 10.6.8. A window continues to pop up that reads, "Authentication Required" and "Enter username and password for ftp://ftp.radiogarage.com". This happens every time Firefox is opened and continues to pop up approximately every 30-60 seconds until I close Firefox. How do I permanently remove/delete/get rid of this pop up window? I have clicked on Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox but that has not solved the issue. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
