Hi. I'm basically trying to do a very simple animation. I have 5 pictures in a picture ring and would like to play them in a loop. Is this possible? Thanks.

I'm a 1st time iTunes user trying to organize my music. I want to setup a category for 'piano' music and created a new playlist. But I don't see how I can 'play all' the music in that in one session. Is there a way to 'play all' in a Playlist?

When you access the metadata for an album, you can obviously pick a genre from the dropdown that appears when you click on the up/down arrows next to the genre field:
The values listed are the ones built-in to iTunes plus any you've defined yourself. However, instead of picking one of these values, you can click in the field itself and start typing. Initially iTunes will try to match what you type to an existing genre (so when you type "P" it'll select "Podcast") but keep typing until you've completed the new genre:
Now, having entered this once "by hand", your new genre is added to the dropdown for future selection:
You can now define a smart playlist that uses this new genre, as described in my previous comments. Whether this is then recognized by the Bose system I don't know - its not technology I'm familiar with, though I would assume that it would be picking up "genre" as a piece of metadata from the iTunes library and/or media files and would just use whatever values it finds there. The only exception I can think of is that the Bose system is somehow "hard-coded" to iTunes' built-in genres only (which would be a pretty dumb thing to do, but ......).

How do I play all the Movies from within my LIBRARY without having to click PLAY everytime on each individual movie? All my movies in the Library have the check marks on them already.
When I play my "Music" LIBRARY, as soon as a song is over the next one starts up. Fine. Great! But, the same is not happening from within my "Movies" LIBRARY.
This play-all-Movies type of action works fine from within each of my playlists. Once selected a movie to play from any playlist, other movies will keep on playing, one after another, until told to stop. But, I also would like to play all movies from my library.
It would seem redundant to copy my entire library into a single playlist just to have this function available. Besides, every time I would add a new movie to the library, I would also have to remember to add it to said playlist.
Could anyone, please, tell me if it is possible to play all movies from within the LIBRARY? (iTunes v.8.01).

Update: I reset my phone again and this time I restored it from my last iCloud backup. That "sort of" worked. (The missing info was on my phone temporarily, but it's still missing from iCloud.com and as the phone syncs with the cloud the missing contacts are disappearing.)
This is good news, but I'm losing progress. How can I restore my iCloud settings to that last backup?

Using the same Apple id and Password you should be able to download purchased apps without being charged again.
I download to an iPad/iPad2/iPhone3 & iPhone4 with no problem.

An "iTunes account" is an online account you use for buying music, like a bank account. An iTunes collection is the media you see when you open iTunes. Which do you mean?
If it is two computers, it would also help to know where these are located. Are they on the same local network? If they are, try Home Sharing (and you have control of both and you aren't just trying to get music fro your computer to your friend's computer in another state). If they are not, you'll have to use an external hard drive or flash drive.

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist", or check the "compilation" flag (as in https://discussions.apple.com/message/17670085).
If these are from multiple-CD sets you may also need to enter the appropriate information in the disc number fields. If they are not a multiple CD set you still need to make sure the disc number fields are set correctly or all empty.

Don't use iCloud at all.
Disable Bluetooth.
Don't connect to the same wi-fi network on all the devices.
Go to Settings > FaceTime and turn it off.
Go to Settings > FaceTime on the devices and disable 'iPhone Cellular Calls'.
Any of these will work, but the last one is probably best.

That's exactly how it's going to work. Unless you've set up separate iTunes playlists for your devices, the books will be deposited the books section on iTunes, and will appear as PDFs.
As Gus2259 said, you can use iCloud or Dropbox, or transport it through iTunes via an attached computer, or even use a cable.

You can select multiple items using shift to select a range and control to add or remove items from it.
Regarding duplciates, Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group of identical tracks to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin. This can happen, for example, if you start iTunes with a disconnected external drive, then connect it, reimport from your media folder, then restart iTunes.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background. Please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping, whether you do so by hand or using my script, in case something goes wrong.

Actually, JinKL, doing a search from "Songs" is harder to do and does not give the exact same result. It's harder to do because I have to key an artist's name rather than pick one from a list. The results aren't the same for several reasons. If you key an artist name that matches a song, you get that song, too. OK, that doesn't happen THAT much, but it does happen. And if I key a partial name, say "Morrison" for "Van Morrison", I get all the songs on "Morrison Hotel" by the Doors.
"All Songs" should be added to the iPad music player. While they're at it, they should add column titles and allow allow sorting on the column values.
