How do I play an HTML 5 video on my iPad through Photon?

I downloaded Photon to my ipad so I could play an HTML 5 video but when I tried going to the video link through Photon, the page still gave the 'html 5 not enabled' message. What do I do to play the video?

I was wanting to watch a TV show from the internet but when I tried, I got the message 'html 5 not enabled on this device'. I read. on another forum that iPad is HTML 5 enabled, it's just it doesn't support Flash; the problem is therefore with the website rather than the iPad. I read that if the website doesn't have its own app (I couldn't find one) then I need to download a flash player such as photon; I thought the TV show would work then, but I'm still getting the 'HTML 5 not enabled' message. I don't get it!

What I find is really silly, is the fact the music video's are listed under that artists albums in the Music menu. And when you go into the video 'album' (called 'Unknown' unless you change it) there is an option to shuffle the tracks. Clicking this just results in an error message. So, they should either remove that option if it is a video album, or, better yet, GET IT TO WORK. So silly of them to omit this.

Movie (Films) must be added to iTunes on your iMac if you want to see them on Apple TV.
The following video formats are supported for playback on Apple TV:
H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats
Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format
If the movie you have is not in one of the supported formats you need to convert it. You can try converting them using a program called Handbrake. Handbrake has a Preset that allows you to easily convert most video file formats to one that will play on the Apple TV.

For sound, try the audio output port and connecting to the RCA audio input ports on your Pioneer receiver. Use something like this:

I had to reset it again and use the desktop software reinstalling the entire basic software. On your desktop blackberry software go to the software up date thoght tools and if there are no newer veresions available, chose the botton for las version and intall it.

That would be AirPlay, not homesharing. THey are not related. Did you enable air play on all the devices?
Have you run the network test tools on ATV? Can ATV access the iTunes store, Netflix, etc?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photosstream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
Pin order to share photos using photostream you need to log into the same iCloud account on both devices, videos are not included in photostream, but other third party apps such as Dropbox and video stream for iCloud can share video between your devices.

And it is as easy as with transferring photos from your computer with Include Videos selected under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, but first the video must be in an iPad compatible format.

I connected my I pad to the tv in my Toyota van with video aux cables but the screen still says "no input". How can I project videos from my iPad on the car tv screen? Is there an app that I need? I have a 600 mile drive with 2 toddlers this weekend and need a solution quick!

if you are using the composite video adapter from the ipad to the car's monitor, and if this is actually supported
in the toyota van, it might just because the individual apps need the video output adapter enabled, and until you
run a program, like the video player and actually play something, a no video input message is the correct behavior

How about using Dropbox?
Sign up with an email address. Then upload the one video.
You can either share the Dropbox sign on with your friend, then it can be downloaded on Dropbox on her iPad and uploaded to iMovie.
Dropbox will allow 5 GB
Box for IOS allows 10 GB
