How do I play Video taken with Fascinate on my PC?
Can anyone help me out on this? I've downloaded multiple players who all support MP4 and can only hear the audio portion of videos taken by my phone. Downloaded V Cast Media Manger and experienced the same issue. I can view the video on my phone but the file is too large to e-m or text. When I download it to my PC I get the Icon, thumbnail, and audio but no video. If I'm making a simple mistake please let me know.
Well, I have a Mac and for me to play the videos I have to mount the SD card
Copy the files to my Mac by opening the SD volume and draging the files to wherever I want to put them.
Usually a folder I created called Fascinate Movies
Then I can open them in Quick Time and trim or edit with QT Pro.
I can also RE-Save them as QT movies and then edit in iMovie or iDVD or any other editing program you may have.
Hope this helps.
BTW: I haven't a clue about WinDoZe But, the process is probably similar.

How can I transfer video taken with my iPhone to my iPad WITHOUT using a computer or iTunes? I'm going to Europe for a month and want to use my iPhone to take pics and video, then come back to the hotel room and use my iPad to edit/store each evening. I don't want to use my iPad to take the video...too large/bulky. here is a cheaper solution than camera kit and a lot easier if you have WIFI available.
I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

How do you burn videos taken with my Iphone 4S and stored on my computer to a DVD disc. I purchased and tried using RealPlayer Plus 16 but got error message saying "unsopported media type"? I also tried using Real Players file converter with no success! Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
Probably the OP is no longer paying attention to this unless the OP is subscribed to this discussion. While not really an iPhone question I guess using an iPhone to produce the movie which then needs taking to the next step makes this as good a starting place as any unless you happen to know enough about what to do to determine in which forum to post. A suggestion in that direction would help.
Anyway, Apple is backing off from supporting optical media. It also depends upon what you mean by "DVD". A DVD is just an optical disc which can support different file formats, but many people think it means a movie disc you can put in your TV. Producing a movie disc requires special iDVD authoring software Apple used to sell but stopped several years ago. I don't know if the old versions work under newer systems. There's also the free Burn application which authors DVDs but takes a bit of learning and has nowhere near the features of iDVD.
If the OP means simply burning the transferred movie files to a DVD for archiving in computer format you don't need special software for that; its built into the operating system File > New Burn folder etc. -
Ovi Suite 3.0.0.290 Can not play Video taken with ...
It is quite amazing that software by Nokia can not replay Video taken with phone by Nokia.
VLC player plays the video OK so the video (MP4) looks to be all right.
All thet Ovi says is that the video can not play. Format may not be supported .I have the same problem, in that I can't get my video's recorded on the phone to play. If I try to double-click and play within Ovi Suite it crashes Ovi Suite, if I open Windows Media Player and try and run it then WMP crashes too (is Ovi Suite using WMO under the skin?) and the best I can get is when I try it with QuickTime I get sound from it but just black screen for the video.
So yes, I suspect it's a problem on my PC but can anyone give ideas on how to fix it?

I've taken a video with my iPad 2, V6.0. I've tried attaching it to an email to send to myself, because people say they can't open any of the videos I send them. They're right! I can't either. The thumnail shows the video on my PC--windows 7 (64), but only audio plays, not any video. I've tried both Realplayer & Quicktime. Both the same result.
In a similar vein.....why are our pictures turned sideways when people receive them in their email??

There is a compatibility issue between QuickTime 7.7.2 in Windows and iOS 6-emailed videos.

the sideways pictures has to do with whether or not the recepient's viewer can read the rotation matrix --> the information about what orientation the iOS device was in when it was recorded.

I'm having problems uploading video taken with my iPhone 4 to Photobucket. FB will not accept the file extension which is ex. IMG_423. They will play on my computer and will upload to Facebook. Why is the phone taking video with this file instead of something like .mov or mp4. How can I change the extension after the fact and avoid it in the future?
You said, "the 4 also has signal and wifi whereas the 5 has only wifi". By "signal", I'm assuing that you mean cellular signal. If so, that means your iPhone 4 is still active on your cellular number and your iPhone 5 is not. Contact your carrier to sort out which phone is active on your account.

When I import videos taken with my iPhone 4S to my Windows PC, some of the landscape videos are upside down and all of the portrait videos are rotated 90 degrees. It makes a difference depending on what position I hold the Iphone when taking videos. Help!!!!
Sometimes syncing will have problems with very large video files like this. I'm not sure you will be able to overcome this, but if the videos are important enough you may consider purchasing 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer them.

you have to install avs video converter and then well im not going to translate everything but it explains you all the settings to put to have a video for you ipod. after it was converted like the website says open itunes and then drop the conveerted file to itunes and it will work (well it did with me) -

I know this has been asked and answered many times over on this forum I still don't understand why these won't sync back?
Videos taken with iPhone 3GS. They will play on iPhone. Now synced back to iMac. Videos will play on iPhoto. They will not sync back to iPhone. Yes, the option under the iPhone in iTunes (Photos>Sync Photos From [iPhoto]>All photos and albums>Include Videos is checked.
Any ideas?

Trouble viewing videos taken with iPhone 4s on Windows laptop
I am having trouble viewing videos taken with my iPhone 4s on my Windows laptop. Here are my versions:
Windows 7
IOS 6.1.3
iTunes 11.0.3.0.42
Quicktime 7.7.4
The videos I am unable to play have been copied from my iPhone cache folder into another folder. The first issue I noticed was the thumbnail for the videos are rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise in both folders. The videos were taken with the camera in the portrait position, as opposed to the camera being held sideways or the landscape position.
I tried to play the videos using iTunes and an error saying " iTunes has stopped working. Checking for a solution". Then I get, "iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Sadly, no solution has been sent to me.
If I try to use QuickTime, the videos "attempt" to play but the audio skips and locks or the video skips and locks. Eventually, the video completely stops. Also, there is a green bar on the left of the screen the runs from top to bottom. This bar is not visible in any other views of the videos.
If I try to use Windows Media Player, the videos play great, except they are rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise, like the thumbnails.
All of the videos still play perfectly on my iPhone 4s.

I recently got a MacBook Pro and want to burn my videos, taken with my iPhone, to DVD. What is the easiest way for me to accomplish this? I've been told I need to download a DVD creator/burner. I've downloaded 3 different free versions, but none of them seem to recognize the video files from my iPhone. I don't need anything fancy or complicated. I just want a way to store these vidoes and be able to play them on our DVD player. Help!
Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder on your PC to /Music/ on your Mac.
Then delete what you don't want.
You will need to authorize yrou computer for the iTunes account yoru mother has.
You should create & use your own iTunes account for any more purchases.
You don't need to export anything and definitely don't need to (and shouldn't) convert anything. -

CHOPPY video playback of videos taken with Kodak Zi8 using Quicktime 7
I've tried everything I possibly could (hence joining this forum), but for some reason, my laptop OR desktop computers will NOT play the videos taken with my Kodak Zi8 portable HD video camera, without the videos being dark, and EXTREMELY CHOPPY, using the Quicktime 7 player! Both computers are very capable of playing HD video (720P), so that's not the problem. I can use VLC Media Player, or the media player that came with the Kodak Zi8 (Media Impression media player), and the playback is extremely smooth & bright, even at FULL SCREEN. I thought it had something to do with "h.264", but Apple says that codec is part of QT7. Any suggestions? I greatly appreciate it! Thanks! : )
I'm having the exact same problem. I have the Kodak Zi8 as it outputs a .MOV file and the result in Quicktime is choppy/stuttery playback. The Fip UltraHD camera does the same thing. I would really like to use quicktime rather than the Impressions player, but for now that's all we can use, and it looks great I just wish Quicktime would look this good. Hopefully we will get a helpul reply on this issue.

I am interested in getting the MSI VOX USB 2.0 External TV Box and I am just wondering if I can play video games such as Playstation 2 with my laptop using this tv tuner. I heard some tv tuners have the "delay" make them useless to play video games. Does MSI VOX USB have this "dealy", and how is the the picture quality while playing video game with this tv tuner?

I dont really understand the VoxBox but I've just inadvertadly managed to put the PS2 on my laptop by plugging the video/audio cables into the converter and then into a USB port, and although it did work, and there wasnt a delay or anything, the quality was poor compared to a TV and also it flickered a bit so I'm not sure it would work that well- but that may have just been my computer playing up. Definitely possible though. Sorry I cant offer much more advice! -

What model MacBook Pro do you have? On my late 2011, I used to use a Mini DisplayPort/Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter to get video and audio from my Mac to my television. I used this adapter from Monoprice. Worked great - I just no longer use it because I bought a 27" monitor.
You can also use AirPlay mirroring if you've the right MBP and an Apple TV - but the wired method works, too.
