How do i point to the Unix category?

All I can do is point to OS X Technologies forum/discussion/community or whatever these are called, but can't direct anyone straight to the Unix or AppleScript category. This needs fixing or some direction on how to do this.

If you haveat least Version 7.10.18 then KPro configurations are no longer required. Did you activate Business Function HCM_ERC_SES_1 as this is required for SES? The scenario to choose will depened on whether you are making a new implementation, upgrading without use of SES before or upgrading after using SES with earlier versions. Scenario 1 is for when you have activated HCM_ERC_CI_3 after using earlier versions with HCM_ERC_SES_1 already activated. Scenario 2 is for those who have upgrade and activated HCM_ERC_CI_3 but where using search without SES in their earlier version. Last scenario is when you are making a new e-Recruiting implementation (not upgrading). Also check notes 1426757 and 817145.
When you try to search are you getting an error? Can you check in SLG1 transaction after trying to search and post the error messages. Also can you execute report RCF_CHECK_SEARCH_SETTINGS as it will point you to the missing configurations points if any based on your version.

My iTunes library got messed up and I've been able to point back to most of my settings but do I point to the iTunes file that lists purchase history? Perhaps I'm pointing to an old iTunes library by mistake?

also, you could use this script: _*Track Down Purchases*_.
This script will examine each track in a selection of tracks or a selected playlist to determine if it was purchased from the iTunes Store and then copies it to a discrete playlist named for the person who purchased it, eg: "Steve Ballmer's Purchased Music". Recognizes song, video, and audiobook purchases. Purchaser information is gleaned by examining the track's file, which, depending on file location and access speed, can take as long a second per track. Just sayin'.

How to subtract points if the user clicks outside a clickbox

Is there a way to subtract points if the user clicks outside
a clickbox? I only see options to jump between slides but no
options to manage grade points.

Hi Andrew, thanks for your reply.
There is a case where the user will get 0 points and that is
if a click outside the box leads to a new slide or makes the slide
continue. Otherwise, if the user has infinite attempts until he/she
gets it right, captivate will not track hoy many attempts the user
took. For Captivate, it will be 100% accuracy results. I cant let
the slide continue unless there is a right click because, if I
select the continue option, the user will never know what was the
option he should have taken as there is no explanation of it.
I then ask you: is there a way to tell the user he clicked in
the wrong place and show him where he should have clicked, as
additional information that couldnt interfere with the timeline of
the proyect. Or is there a way to track negative points or
attempts.

How to move albums into the proper category in the Library?

I don't know why an artist's greatest hits album is put into the Compilations folder, and not the artist's folder. I'd rather all their songs be in one folder, including any greatest hits. I can't seem to find any way to fix this. If I move the album into the artist's folder, none of the songs "can be found", and I would have to locate each song, one by one, which would be a major project.
Now, I did take Sade's Greatest Hits, and stripped the songs by cutting and pasting them into a different album (Unknown Album) in her folder, however, when I tried doing that with another artist's album it refused to accept the change. So I tried going to the iTunes window & selecting all the songs, and edited the album name, from Greatest Hits, to Unknown Album (where I had placed the songs in the library folder), but it would not change the album title, no matter how many times I tried. Why would that method work for one and not another?

Spaces has been changed to "Desktops" in Lion. There isn't an icon for the menubar like there was in Snow Leopard. To move from Desktop to Desktop you can use Mission control, use CNTL right/left arrows or swipe on your mouse or trackpad (depending on how you have your options set in System Preferences > Mouse/Trackpad

How do I clean out the "other" category, it is consuming lots of space and I dont know what is in there

I am hitting the upper limit on storage on my Iphone 5s; after music the greatest usage is in the category "other" and I can't figure out what is in it so that I can reduce it or otherwise clean it out. help?

How come nobody pointed to the JVM Spec?

Apologize for not knowing where the "usual channels" are to unlock this thread so the hearing of technical facts can continue.
From the [JVM spec 3.6|http://java.sun.com/docs/books/jvms/second_edition/html/Overview.doc.html#17257] third paragraph:
"The sizes of the local variable array and the operand stack are *determined at compile time* and are supplied along with the code for the method associated with the frame (4.7.3). Thus the size of the frame data structure depends only on the implementation of the Java virtual machine, and the *memory for these structures can be allocated simultaneously on method invocation*." (emphasis mine)
The two principals in the locked thread both have support in the JVM spec- local variables are allocated statically at compile time but the actual physical memory for them is allocated dynamically at runtime. Am I understanding that paragraph correctly?

First it isn't that different. There isn't anything special about the VM. Interpreters existed before Java and have continued to exist. I am pretty sure interpreters existed at least in the 70s. Second one still needs to look at what is going on in terms of something resembling standard definitions.
If one wishes to restrict oneself to the Java language itself, then regardless of the implementation details of the compiler it doesn't "allocate" anything. Because until the code runs there is no allocation.
If one wishes to include the VM specification (rather than implementation) then one can note that there is nothing specifically that indicates any static allocation either and certainly nothing that the compiler controls.
Consider a bytecode - istore, which takes an index. It stores into the position defined by the index. This is an instruction created by the compiler. The instruction itself does not suggest allocation. A direction to store is not a direction to allocate. The instruction presumes the allocation has already been done.
Consider a method call defined in the following.

Consider the class file structure which is generated by the compiler. From that the code_attribute defines code and it has the max_stack is nothing but a 16 int.
It is just a size. One needs the size to do the allocation but the size is not the allocation.
In terms of the above and what the compiler does it assumes that something will do correct allocations based on the data that it provides. Still isn't the same as doing the allocation.

How to give the unix server path while uploading a file

Am very new to this file operations in Oracle.
here i have a requirement like we need to upload table to unix server using oracle. I have read about File operations in Oracle but in that i did not understand one point like how and where to give the unix server path .. like username@servername and Path where that file needs to be stored.
I have googled for file operations in oracle.. in that there are asking me to create one object like as follows
Create or replace directory rtvms2 as 'MYDIR:'
The MYDIR: i need to use while uploading the file .
UTL_FILE.FOPEN('MYDIR:','Report.txt','W');
My Question is how and where should i give my unix server information .?
and how and in which step oracle connect to unix server and upload the file.?
Can any one please help me.

(this example shows it for a windows server, but you just replace the windows directory path with a unix server path)
CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY mydir AS 'c:\myfiles';Note: This does not create the directory on the file system. You have to do that yourself and ensure that oracle has permission to read/write to that file system directory.
Then, grant permission to the users who require access e.g....
GRANT READ,WRITE ON DIRECTORY mydir TO myuser;Then use that directory object inside your FOPEN statement e.g.
fh := UTL_FILE.FOPEN('MYDIR', 'myfile.txt', 'r');Note: You MUST specify the directory object name in quotes and in UPPER case for this to work as it is a string that is referring to a database object name which will have been stored in uppercase by default.
For security reasons, Oracle requires a directory object and it is that object that points to the actual path (it's up to you to make sure that path is valid and exists on the operating system). Then the object can have read and write permissions given to relevant database users as appropriate i.e. you may want one user to only be able to read files from that location whilst another user can read and write. You still need to ensure operating system level permissions exist for that path for the operating system user under which oracle was installed (on unix that's likely to be an "oracle" user).

How do I set up alias in the httpd.conf of the portal to point to this file?

We are using 9ias on unix. However, I think the file is the same.
Try this
In you $ORACLE_HOME/httpd.conf file search for the aliases section. You should see something like "Add as many aliases as you want (with no limit)
type the line like this
Alias fakename realname (as in the example)
fakename=virtual path ie /test/
realname=is your real directory (don't include the output file here) specify the output file in you full url
http:hostname:port/test/outputfile.htm

I am trying to use BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI to create purchase orders.
I am having problems to use the Activity (header) Category field.
Among other parameters, in the INPUT_FIELDS table I have added a line for the field CATEGORY as follows:
REF_HANDLE = 0000000001
REF_KIND = A
OBJECTNAME = ACTIVITY
FIELDNAME = CATEGORY
Then I have added a line in the ACTIVITY table with:
REF_HANDLE = 0000000001
CATEGORY= ZSB
PRIORITY=5
But no results. The field is not entered in the purchase order I create.
Anybody could point out how to use this parameter in this BAPI?

Please fill category on order and after Enter debug crm_order_maintain function module.
This should help you to see where in function module this field should be filled.
you can also use crm_order_maintain for documents creation.

Do I need and how to secure the Unix/Linux agents authentication and communication to RMS?

Hi everybody
We have an environment including SCOM 2012 SP1, 10 windows server, 40 linux servers and 10 HP-UX servers. all of them are joined a trusted domain. I know the authentication method between windows agents and management server is kerberos. but not for linux and
HP-UX servers.
Now I want to secure the Unix/Linux agents authentication and communication to RMS. some questions:
1- how much secure and credible is current authentication method? and in a high secure environment can I trust SCOM self signed Certificates?
2- Considering this point that Unix/linux computers are joined to active directory domain and are using Kerberos to authenticate, can I use this
authentication method between RMS and linux Agents?
3- if I make a decision to use certificates should I use gateway server? (considering all servers and RMS are in same trusted domain)
any other suggestion?

How can I assign points to the alternatives in a question?

Hi! I am building my first quiz in Captivate and I have this little problem I haven´t been able to solve. I want a make a test that meassures how stress you are att work. It looks like a survey, I´ll have about 20 or more questions with the same type of alternatives, no right or wrong alternatives, but you choose the one you agree the most with. The thing is that i want to give a value point to each alternative and be able to have a score at the end. See the example.
How often do you feel stressed att work?
1. never : 0 points
2. one a week: 2 points
3. three times a week: 3 points
4. Everyday: 4 points
Att the end, the score you get tells you how stressed you are, but instead of showing a result in term of points, you´ll get a text giving you feedback and recomendations for better health. Can I do that in Captivate? I haven´t been able to find a way to do that yet...

Tried putting something together that could be possible, concentrated on the workflow. There will be some repetitive tasks to be done however, problem is that a click box cannot stay for a whole project, which means that a click box gets its proper ID on each slide. Will try to explain, it is up to you to judge if this is acceptable, or if you'd go better with a Flash app.
Created (for the moment, perhaps you'll need more if p.e. for Q1-Q10 you need a separate result for A and for B, result for Q11-Q20...) two user variables:
v_AClick to store the number of clicks on A-option
v_BClick to store the number of clicks on B-option
The results can then be used later on for a condition (did not write it yet).
Created a first slide with these objects:
dummy Text Caption 'Option A' (will be replaced later on with question text)
click box covering up this Text Caption, named it (ID) ClickA1 (this is the tedious part, has to be done for each CB; ClickA2, ClickA3...)
dummy Text Caption 'Option B' (will be replaced later on with question text)
click box covering up this Text Caption, named it (ID) ClickB1 (this is the tedious part, has to be done for each CB; ClickB2, ClickB3...)
imported a 'sign' to be showed after the user clicked into the Library, and put an instance to the right of each Text Caption, those were labeled VinkA and VinkB. Very important: set those instances to 'Show for the entire project', which avoids to have them duplicated to each slide, we will hide and show them as necessary.
button 'Next' which on Succes jumps to next slide.
The blue Text Caption was for me, to check if the actions were functioning, shouldn't be there in the end file.
I created a first Advanced action, labeled it HideVink (sorry for the Dutch, Vink = the green symbol), to be triggered on entering the slide:
Hide VinkA
Hide VinkB
Second/third action, labeled A_Action1/B_Action1 to be triggered by clicking on the ClickA1/ClickB2 with these actions:
increment v_AClick/v_BClick with 1
hide the other clickbox, thus ClickB1/ClickA1 to avoid that the user could click on both options
show AVink/BVink
Here is an example, action A_Action1
Those two actions have to be duplicated for each Question slide (A_Action2, B_Action2,....). What has to be changed in the duplicates is only the number of the Click Box, that is why I labeled them to make the process easier.
Now I duplicated the slide as many times as necessary. The actions for button and entering slide are OK, but the actions for the click boxes have to be adapted (tedious).
Why did I use 'dummy' Text Captions: I should export (File menu) the Text Captions to a Word-document, change the dummy texts (left column) to the real captions (much easier in one doc) and re-import them into the CP-file.
That was my homework, as promised. Hope it helps, even if you choose to go the Flash-way after all.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
