How do I position menu buttons individually?
I'm new to Muse and I'm working on a header for my website. I have our company's logo in the middle as part of the header, so I'm trying to position the menu buttons around the logo. Right now, one of the buttons overlaps the logo and I cannot figure out how to push that button over to the other side so it doesn't block the logo (Please see attached screenshot).
Can someone please help?

One possible way is to have the center button be "home" and then Arrange your logo to the top of the layer so it hides it.

How to change the menu button picture?
Hi,
How can I change the picture (or the 'movie frame') that appears in the sub-chapter menu buttons (those that link directly to different movies) in Encore CS5? By dedfault there appears the first frame from the sequence which in my case is black as I start my sequences with 'dip to black' dissolves. So, all of my sub-chapter menu buttons have black pictures as a result of that. I don't want to animate them, I just want to learn how to pick a frame from the sequence and turn it into a menu button picture.

How do You create menu buttons that move up and down with a remote?
I have six menu items that are linked to their proper locations. When I simulated it a Hand moves over the proper choice then when I click there we go.
But on the DVD simulator you can't navigate. I thought maybe I would bring in one of the templates to use their buttons I can't get my images to replace theirs. Any help appreciated.

I create a button, then set the text and include highlights
I then create another button, then set the text and the include highlights
I then click on the menu and go to the inspector to see colors
RED Normal
BLUE Selected
YELLOW Activated
In simulater I then use the remote control and CANNOT navigate through the buttons
I stop Simulator and then use Auto Assign Buttons Now Command, then relaunch Simulator and get the remote control to work
Make sure to link the button to the track you want to go to.
I thought the issue is that you cannot navigate the buttons with the remote control? If you only have one button on the screen, it will always be selected (Yellow in your project as described)
If it is flashing Megenta and nothing happens, it means a target has not been set (or somehow you are targeting the menu again)
So the only two condiitions you will see is yellow or magenta. -
I don't know what I did. But the menu button from the new firefox that I just downloaded is gone. How do I get it back? How can I rearrange items in the toolbar? I thought you could just drag and drop them. Now, there's no reload button, the home button is way off to the right, the address bar takes up too much space. How can I get the flexibility of the old firefox back?

Where is the menu button on the S5????
So I have corporate email on my device and I used to have to use the menu button in order to access differnt functions within the app but with this S5, the menu button is now a multitasking button and it won't allow me to use my app (Touchdown for Android). Does anyone know how to use the menu button????
That's what I see Doc allot on my M8, It's neat how they organized it but can be sometimes hard to find.

To achieve this you can create manual menu. You have the option for creating manual menu in Muse. Check this :
Later when you have created the menus, you can create anchors for different sections of the site where you want to direct the users when they click on one menu item and then link the menu item to those anchors.

can any one please tell me how to disable "User Menu" button in lsmw transaction.I took a look at the program, and it does not use any kind of customizing to build the gui-status. So, in other words, you can not turn it off using config. You may be able to do it useing a screen variant. Check out transaction SHD0.

Using the menu widget, breaking a menu apart to position buttons individually.
I am having a completely blank moment. I'm sure I used to be able to do this in Muse, I just can't remember how.
I want a horizontal menu in my header with a company logo to sit in the middle. So ideally I want three menu buttons on the left, three on the right. Using the Horizontal menu widget, can you break them apart to position them individually? Or in sets of three?
Also if I create 'child' pages how do I create a drop down menu using the menu widget. I did it once, can't remember how.
My memory is not what it used to be.

I repeat, you must build up every button separately and link each button in Hyperlinks to the right Page as you did on video.
Please follow the instructions:
1. At first make only "Home Page".
2. Go to "Master Page".
3. Copy "Home Page" and paste it on "Master Page" by using Paste in Place feature.
4. Drag "Copy Home Page" to the right and you can edit "Copy Home Page" as you want.
5. Add "Copy Home Page" on Plan Mode and change the name of the Page.
6. Link Pages in "Hyperlinks" to the right Pages.

How do I get video clips out of menu button?
iMovie 9.0.8 iDVD 7.1.2
I have a 90 minute video with 11 chapters. I found in "edit" menus something called populate drop zones" and clicked it for main page and two sub menu pages. When trying to burn, I got the error message "- There seems to be too much motion menu content in your project. Correct this problem before you continue burning this project."
Fine, I'll take out the damned videos out of the menus....BUT HOW? There seems to be no way to "unpopulate drop zones" I tried dragging a photo into the menu buttons without success.
I shouldn't have to start over and wait another hour for iDVD to read my iMovie project every time there is some change to make to drop zone content.Sounds like Revolution and there's only one dropzone in the top menu. Type Command + i to bring up the info window for that menu. The dropzone will be the one in the middle:
It'll be the same for the submenus.
iDVD allows up to 15 minutes of playing time in motion menus. If you're referring to the buttons for the individual chapters you can change the button type to just text. Or if the video in the drop zone is longer than 15 minutes just add a still photo to the drop zone instead of a movie.

Why does the content spill over and how do I position this under the menu and title?
I was following this tutorial on how to add a scrolling image gallery to a Flash website.

From what I understand from this tutorial, it is just a matter of copying the Actionscript code and pasting it onto the timelines then making modifications on the XML.

I pasted the code onto the blank keyframe labeled "Gallery"...
But all I get is this weird effect when I click on the button for the gallery...

When you put a blank keyframe on a timeline, any content put in there is supposed to only be contained in that very frame, right? How come then that - whenever the gallery button is clicked on - the content from that section spills out onto the other sections even when I click on other button for the other areas?
I just really couldn't think why this is happening - any reason why this is so?
And how do I position the gallery right under the section header and menu bar?

How do I re-style the 'Menu' button in Yahoo! Menu Popup from the Widget Gallery by Zizzer Zazzer
Ive re-styled everything else by editing the CSS in the head of the doument, and in both CSS files. I dont find anywhere that this button is mentioned in any CSS. It is outside the OAWidget Div. This menu is using the Sam Skin. Here is the code:

How do I include an entire hour-long performance on a DVD and also have menu buttons for playing isolated sections of the performance?
So far, I've already done the individual menu buttons for sections of the performance. How do I set up some kind of "play" button that will play the video of the entire performance straight through? Will this be too much material for the DVD to hold? Does the program recognize and not replicate material to save space? If so, will it interfere with that if I add edits to individual sections that will not be in the video of the entire performance?Hi
If You only need
• Play movie in full
• Start into the movie at specific places e.g. Chapters - then play to movie ends
Then this is fairly simple - Just add Chapters in Your Video-editor (iMovie or FinalCut)
(some quirks to keep in mind - No Chapter mark in any transition or within 2 sec from it - AND - only Lettera A to Z and 0 to 9 - no other letters/symbols at all)
BUT
If You want to
• Play full movie (with or without Chapters)
• Play an individual Chapter then return to Menu
This function is not standard in iDVD - but has to be faked one way or another.
Please read my notes on this and be aware of the 60 minutes / 12 minutes limit in iDVD (THIS is including the Menu and it can take 15 minutes or more from the movie time)
Play all resp one chapter at a time
Play All Button
1. There are NO - Play All - button in any version of iDVD
2. It can be faked in several ways
• Easiest and most fault proof way is to make a doublet movie containing All and with
Chapters set to match. It will take up x2 space but is easy to understand and produce.
Cons: Tried this in iMovie’11 by Exporting out each part as a full Quality QT.mov then Importing back into new events and putting these into a new project (Play All project). Resulting DVD had Audio that was OK (as parts) - BUT the picture was very bad and standing photo were cut of in hight. So the Play All movie has to be created from same material and exactly in the same way as the individual parts + then Chapters has to be set to match.
• It's said that one can put all movies into a Photo/SlideShow and this will also
give the function of a Play All button - Tested - and ONE HAS TO un-cheque - Scale pictures to TV-Safe area else it will be a black frame all around and a small picture !
Cons: BUT - When tested with music videos - the same video on main Menu played nicely with OK Audio. The Play All version in SlideShow had a signifcant Distortion - as on telephone or worse.

You might be able to get close to what you want by using a slideshow in iDVD. (It's not widely known, but you can put videos in a slideshow.) If you set the slide duration to manual, playback will pause after each movie/slide, and you can continue with the 'next' button.
3. Using another program to do this e.g.. Roxio Toast™ where there is a Play All button option.
Summary
a. Making a Play All movie with same care as the individual Part movies - gives a very Good Result
b. Using Roxio Toast™ - also an usable way to go

How can I stick an accordion navigation MENU on top of a mobile scrolling page and make it work properly?
As I can't pin it, I keep it on top of the page with scroll effect 0.
It collapse, shows the menu buttons but doesn't close back once it reaches the anchorpoint.Muse won't let you, at least not that I know of. You could find the class in the code that muse gives it position: fixed…I think. You could paste it into the head area of your page properties to override the class. I believe something like this would give you persistent nav bar, pinned at the very top, on mobile:

When I use my ipod touch and am trying to leave an app, my ipod wont wont leave unless i keep pressing the menu button. This happens alot during snapchat and my friends ask me why I screenshot so much. And I dont screenshot at all. Why is my ipod doing this? Can it be fixed?
