How do I prevent a 2nd website from nuking a 1st site?

I hope you can help me since I have not succeeded in my attempts so far. On one macbook I have a fully developed iweb website that I want to keep. When I attempted to design a 2nd site, with a new name, using iweb in my macbook pro, it simply replaced my original site. Yikes! The 1st site is www.nicholsloy.com/galleryzine. I thought I only had to use a different name say, www.nicholsloy.com/wordart to enable having 2 sites. What am I doing wrong?

When you publish more than one site to MobileMe using separate domain files its the index.html file of the first site that is overwritten by the second. The site folders should still be present and you can verify this by going to Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites.
This means that your personal domain name will now point to the second site. To avoid this you have to upload the index.html file for the first one after publishing the second.
Note that MobileMe only allows the use of one domain name forward using Cname. Others have to use masking....

You can prevent it from being printed by applying a security policy to it
in Acrobat. The rest can't be prevented, unless you spend a LOT of money
on DRM protection.

Simple answer:
do not use the email address when sending or replying or forwarding emails. Sending is not automatic, you have to generate the email and click on a Send button.
You could use an smtp server that will not allow sending using the incorrect server for the email address, so that it cannot send, but if you accidentally use the email address you may get an error message, but at least the email will not be sent. Do this here:
Tools > Account Settings for the mail account.
bottom right Outgoing Server - select one that will not accept sending using wrong email address
OR
in Outgoing Server(SMTP) select the server you are using for that account
click on 'Edit'
deliberately make an error in the server name - remove the port details etc.
So the details are wrong and cannot send.

Hi - you have will have to change the device passwords on all the base stations and then don't give them to anyone except the administrators and tell them not to save them on their computers that use the older versions of the Airport Utility - for the newer versions like the mobile apps, as soon as you enter the pasword it is saved and is visible in the advanced pane along with the network password - so if anyone gets a hold of your iPad or iPhone, they can edit the whole network - I have this same issue with my networks in the office and it is inconvenient but doable - I hope this helps

After -reluctantly- "upgrading" from Acrobat Pro 7 to Pro X I find this new version absolutely maddening.
Pro 7's features were easy to find in the tool bar. Now in Pro X everything is "dumbed down" with everything "nested" into each other...
But I whine and digress from my problem:

With every insertion of a checkbox onto a form, a "notebox" appears.

As you can see, when I add a checkmark to a page/form, a "note" is automatically added also. In my old Acrobat v. 7, this did not happen.
Any ideas on how I can set Acrobat Pro X to NOT include this note?

Help me to achieve my goal: creating a dynamic CQ5 website from a CRX Imported Site

Hello everyone.
For two weeks now, i'm trying to create a dynamic content CQ5 website from an imported CRX site.
What I already did and where I am now:
Step 1 - I have imported a website using the CRX Import Site tool.
Step 2 - I have done some mappings in my imported site images and texts. In the CRX content repository estructure, I can found the mappings as
unstructured nodes, at "etc/designs/mysite/dev/mappings", the component properties matching the components I selected in the component extractor;
Step 3 - I have done some extractions in my imported site images and texts. In the CRX content repository estructure, I can found the extracted components
at "apps/mysite/resources/images" (the last two ones I created myself);
Step 4 - After done all these steps, I acessed the Web Sites CQ5 menu and selected the "New Site" option, in the "New..." button. A "MySite Blueprint" is avaliable
to be selected as a Blue Print to my new site, but If I select this one and create my new site, not all the mapped components can be manipulated or selected and some
mappings just show on as an empty selection box in the page, where I am able to insert images, for exemple.
In short, after all these steps, I still can't do what I want with my mapped components and the new site is, basically, the same as the imported. Not every mapped components can be selected and edited and I can't change my site template or content (the far I got here is add a new image in the site, but without the liberty to change the position).
So, what I'm forgetting? Is there some step that I don't getting through? Maybe I need to work on the template created by the site importer?
Is there some material or media that can help me or maybe add knowledge to me?
Already read the "Site importer" and "Components" in Adobe CQ5 Documentation but don't get me far from where I am now.
If someone can help me to make this process better, with more liberty on my new site and the possibility to control all the components, adding new ones
or editing the existent ones, I'll be very gratefull and with a great new knowledge.

I want to do this using the site importer because I want to show my clients how we can make content management and experience customizations a lot easier starting by their own websites.
So, importing my customer website and transforming it in a new CQ website is the way to show this.
Anyway, thanks in advance and I'm going to look at the page component for the website that I imported.
If someone got another tip or hint, I'll be very thankfull.

Prevent Safari 5.1 from adding to Top Sites

Has anyone figured out a way to prevent Safari 5.1 from adding to Top Sites every time one looks at a webpage? I have used Macs for 20 years and love them, EXCEPT that Apple doesn't give much control to the user.

If, for some reason, you want to completely disable the Top Sites feature, use the following Terminal command copy and paste:
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari5IncludeTopSites -bool FALSE
Repeating with TRUE at the end will enable Top Sites again.
I have not tested this, but you can try it, and report back on your success or failure.
Clear cache, clear history, reset and relaunch Safari.
Of course there all alternatives if this command does not work. See this thread:

Problem : Every time the connection is wrapped in a client certificate, the entire SSL handshake including the key-exchange information is automatically being logged in the kjs log. How do I prevent the kjs from writing this inormation to the log ?

How are you making this SSL connection? Whatever library you are using must be writing to System.out().
You could avoid logging these messages by using file logs rather than console logs. But you could probably disable these messages by working with your SSL libraries as well.

How can I prevent two different profiles from interfering with one another?

I have a serious profiles problem. I created a new profile with Profile Manager and then copied a well-established profile's contents into its directory before starting the new profile. Now, when I start either profile, it contains whatever tabs I had in the previously opened profile. I deleted a bunch of tabs and a window from the new profile but when I opened it after having opened and closed the old profile, the tabs and window reappeared. If I open some tabs in the new profile and then close it and open the old profile, the tabs appear in it, and vice versa.
I open the original profile through a shell script:

I open the second one the same way but with the <i>-no-remote</i> parameter:

Why do the two profiles collide like that and how can I prevent this from happening?

Are you using Sync then ?
Or are you setting a bunch of tabs as the homepage ?
If you cloned a profile they will start off the same and that will include the set of open tabs from the file ''sessionstore.js'' however profiles are independent and so should have there own sessionstore and History once they have been used.
