How do I preview fonts for watermark

Is there any way to do this all at once as opposed to searching name on internet?

Edit->Edit Watermarks should let you see what each font looks like

  • How can I preview fonts?

    I would imagine this has been asked over and over, but couldn't find an answer googling the questiion.  How can I preview fonts in LR4 when I'm selecting one?  Thanks!

    On the one hand, a regular font management application such as the ones you mention, or my employer's own Suitcase Fusion (http://www.extensis.com/en/products/suitcasefusion2/index.jsp), will do the job really well... except that they prefer to work with fonts on your hard drive rather than on a non-writeable removeable disk. I *think* any of them can be set to work with the fonts in place, but you may need to adjust app preferences so they don't copy all those fonts to your hard drive when you bring them into the app. These also offer a lot of other features, but are retail programs that cost a bit of money. If you need the other features of font management, then they can be great. If you don't, they may be overkill. (If you don't know what font management is, see the second paragraph of my blog post on Windows font management, here: http://blogs.adobe.com/typblography/2007/10/win_font_mgmt.html.
    Have you completely exhausted all the OS preview options? Any chance you'll upgrade to Leopard? This article offers some useful tips for font previewing in Leopard, not sure if they work in Tiger:
    http://www.macworld.com/article/131466/2008/01/105previewfonts.html
    Otherwise, you might want to look at a dedicated inexpensive or free utility that really just does previewing of uninstalled fonts. I can't comment on the quality of these, but I gather FontCat, Font Pilot and FontThing.

  • [CS2/CS3 JS] How to set Default Font for multiple documents

    Hello,
    How do I set the default font for any new text frames I create.
    I have several thousand InDesign templates in which the default font is set to a font that is no longer licenced and therefore requires changing.
    I already have a script which will open each template and change the first insertion point of any (empty) text frame to a new font but any new text frames created in these templates still want to use the unlicensed font.
    Thanks for any assistance.
    Simon Kemp

    for existing documents:
    app.activeDocument.textDefaults.appliedFont = myDoc.fonts.itemByName ('Arial\tBold');
    for newly created ones:
    app.textDefaults.appliedFont = myDoc.fonts.itemByName ('Arial\tBold');

  • How to implement MICR Fonts for AP Checks using XML Publisher

    Hello -
    We are upgrading from Oracle 11.5.9 to R12.1.1
    I have created the RTF template for AP checks. Everything works except that now I have ti implement MICR fonts. Our earlier solution was through Optio, which I can not use now.
    Please help me find necessary documentation to find ALL of the steps required to implement MICR fonts in the XMLP/RTF/PDF environment. Also, do we have to buy the fonts files, or are they available for free to download. We are using HP-UX 9000.
    Thanks

    Using MICR in XMLP is like using any other special font (i.e. barcode). Please see below some link on how to have the fonts(MICR) working on your templates. Also, you could buy fonts but may want to try first on the MICR font shipped with the BI Publisher Desktop (i.e. C:\Program Files\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\Template Builder for Word\fonts).

    I am using BI 10.1.3..What are the steps I need to follow?I followed the same from the Note:373377.1,Still no success..
    Is that true that in case of BI publisher, i heard that BI publisher is stand alone.(It is not like XML publisher as the databse is not embedded) the fonts needed to be installed at server level..
    How true is this?Can anyone please help on this?

  • How to set different font for numbers in headings and TOCs

    Hi,
    I've noticed some people use a different font for numbers in headings and TOCs to get some extra magic. Is there any way to automate such use of fonts in the paragraph styles?
    Oh, and any suggestions on what fonts would be good for numbers?
    Thanks!

    I was merely continuing on the original theme -- any digit in any character style. It was only later revealed that (a) the OP needed old style figures, and (b) those were available in his font from the start.
    The negative lookahead is the answer to his question (copied in full now)
    Based on the above InDesignSecrets tutorial, does anyone know what to do if some of the numbers end with a dot or a comma?
    Like the Norwegian date format: 13. mai 2009
    Or the Norwegian way of pricing items: 2900,-
    and my example shows it can be done, but with an added caveat. If digits are to be set in red, using the exceptions the OP asks for, my example sentence will come out as
    "Think of a number between 1 to 10, but don't use 9."
    rather than the (here) intended
    "Think of a number between 1 to 10, but don't use 9."

  • How to change the font for a PE51 form

    Hi,
    We are on ERP 2005 , MSS 1.0. A custom remuneration form has been created for printing paychecks. The same form is being used in ESS for employees to view their salary statement. However, the form displayed is not aligned and does not fit in the ESS window.
    It seems there might be a need to change the font and then resize the columns using PE51.  How can the font be altered in a form that has been created using PE51. Also if there is any other way outside the form ( BADI etc) where the font can be controlled ?
    Thanks,
    Mark.

    The Password is stored in the keychain, likely the system keychain. Use Keychain Access to edit them.
    You can also remove that network from the list of preferred networks. Select it in the List under WiFi tab in Network System Preferences. When you first enter Network, select WiFi, then click Advanced.
    When you try to connect again, it should ask for a password. If not, go to Keychain Access, find the network password entry, and delete it. Then try to connect again.

  • Embed Barcode Fonts for Watermark

    I hope someone could help me with this:
    I need to add a barcode to a scanned image pdf file. This file will be viewed by a number of users on their workstations. Therefore the barcode font has to be embedded to the newly created pdf file.
    I used the following VB.Net code to add the watermark:
    Dim jsObj As Object
    Dim SamplePDFFilePath As String = "c:\inputFile.pdf"
    Dim OutputFilePath As String = "c:\outputFile.pdf"
    ' Create a PDDoc IAC object.
    Dim pdDoc As Acrobat.CAcroPDDoc
    pdDoc = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
    ' Open the source PDF document
    Dim rc As Integer
    rc = pdDoc.Open(SamplePDFFilePath)
    ' Acquire the Acrobat JavaScript Object interface from the PDDoc object
    jsObj = pdDoc.GetJSObject
    ' make a color object
    Dim oColor As Object
    oColor = jsObj.color.black()
    ' Add a text watermark.
    ' function prototype:
    '   addWatermarkFromText(cText, nTextAlign, cFont, nFontSize, oColor, nStart, nEnd, bOnTop, bOnScreen, bOnPrint, nHorizAlign, nVertAlign, nHorizValue, nVertValue, bPercentage, nScale, bFixedPrint, nRotation, nOpacity)
    jsObj.addWatermarkFromText("12345678", 1, "BarcodeFontName", 26, oColor, 0, 0, True, True, True, 0, 3, 100, -7, False, 1.0, False, 0, 1)
    ' save the PDF with watermarks to a new document.
    rc = pdDoc.Save(1, OutputFilePath)  ' full save
    This works. However the font is not embedded.
    I am using Acrobat X.
    My questions:
    1. How to embed the barcode font to the newly created pdf file using VB code?
    2. I have tried to add an additional watermark from a pdf file using this function: addWatermarkFromFile(cDIPath, nSourcePage, nStart, nEnd, bOnTop, bOnScreen, bOnPrint, nHorizAlign, nVertAlign, nHorizValue, nVertValue, bPercentage, nScale, bFixedPrint, nRotation, nOpacity). The file is a pdf containing a small graphic image. I notice after I added this image pdf as watermark, the barcode font is embedded in the new pdf file. Is this an Acrobat design? But the strange thing is that I removed the addWatermarkFromFile() function from my code and recompiled it. The graphic is not included in the new pdf file, but the font is still embedded. I wonder why Acrobat still embeds the barcode font. Is this a normal behaviour of Acrobat?
    3. I have read a posting that addWatermarkAsText() function will always embed the font. But I am not able to find this function in the SDK 10. Is this function obsolete?
    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, Irosenth.
    The barcode font I used is Installable. But it is not embedded.
    In fact I tried adding two lines of watermarks, one using the barcode font and the other using Windows Courier font. I checked the created pdf file, both of them were not embedded.
    Like I said, after I added a file using addWatermarkFromFile(), the fonts were embedded.
    Also, I printed the document through the Adobe PDF printer driver, the fonts were embedded.
    It looks to me that these fonts are embeddable. But they just are not embedded with the addWatermarkFromText() function.
    Any further suggestions?

  • How do I download fonts for CSS?

    I recently attended a seminar that talked about PhotoShop CSS and the ability to download free fonts directly from Adobe. I have looked all over, and I cannot find this feature. In the seminar, it looked like the instructor went to a menu in PhotoShop, connected to Adobe, and downloaded and installed a font directly into CSS.
    However, I can't figure it out.  I did try to download and install a font from a third party server that seemed okay from the Google pages that I researched. But that somehow added a whole bunch of junk to my computer and I couldn't access the font anyway. I actually uninstalled the font.
    Does anyone know how this feature works? If not, I have seen some posts about fontsquirrel, but I am nervous to install anything after my last experience.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you so much!

    Hi mdonnadesigns,
    I think you mean "Photoshop CC." CSS fonts are an entirely different thing, sorry for the confusion.
    All Creative Cloud members have access to font files from Typekit. More information here: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/sync-fonts.html

  • How to get new fonts for pages

    I am looking to add Eurostile to my Pages fonts list. Does apple have a trusted site to download these?

    Eurostile is a commercial family of fonts.
    Apple didn't boght a license for it so they don't deliver it.
    Do you know that Google is a powerful tool ?
    Search with the simple request:
    eurostile AND font
    and you will get several sources for official eurostile fonts and for free copies .
    Of course, I will not guarantee that the copies have the quality of the original or that they are legal ones.

  • How to set the font for table view contol

    Dear All,
    My requirement is to set Font type = Arial and size=1 for
    Table View control. The same font should be for  header, Rows and footer.
    One way we are achieving it through the Renderer class. Where in we are we are supplying data, colums with html font tags.
    Is there any simple way to fix font fot the entire TableView.
    Thanks
    Markandeya

    An approach I've used is to override the CSS styles by adding code like the following to the top of the JSP page.  It's a bit of a hack, but it did the job.  You will need to find ALL the styles used in a table view, and override the font size.
    <%-- OVERRIDE SOME CSS STYLES SO WE HAVE THE DESIRED TABLE CELL PADDING --%>
    <style>
    <!--
    .sapTbvCellStd {
         PADDING-RIGHT: 2px; PADDING-LEFT: 2px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px
    .sapTbvCellAlt {
         PADDING-RIGHT: 2px; PADDING-LEFT: 2px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px
    //-->
    </style>
