how can i print a survey form?

Sorry it is not possible to print all pages of a HTML form. People would have to print each pages individually as they are filling the form.
You might concider distributing the PDF form instead of the HMTL form
Click on the "Distribute Tab - > Save Submission-enabled PDF" button
The filler could then use the free Acrobat Reader to fill-out the form, submit the data back to you and print it.

  • How can i print the form

    hi
im trying to print one form i mean the from with its items how i can make button when i press the form will print plz help

The print command will print a screen capture of the Form as you see it. It will NOT print all the records if some of them are not shown (you have n number of records that the query returned but only 20 of them are currently displayed on the Form, the print command will only show the 20). If you need to print all n records that query returned, you need to have a Report that you call from your Form.

  • How can I print a form in a printer?

Hi, I will ask you an advice please.
I want to know how can I do a form for a receipt in Java and print it in a printer.
I have the data in a string, but also I want to insert in this form an image.
Do you know a class, or function for doing this, because I'don't even know how to give a proper format to my receipt?.
    Thank you very much.

Start by getting this form to draw on the screen.
Then you'll just the replace the screen Graphics object with the printer Graphics object

  • How do I print my form with long text ?

I created a form in Adobe Acrobat 9 with fillable text fields.  Some of our users need to print the form after completion, and my form is creating scoll bars to read text that is long and extends beyond the text box.  How do I modify the form where all text will print?  Does the text box just have to be larger or is there a  feature I can change on the original document to enable this?  I read in another post that it can be fixed in Acrobat but it did not say how to fix.

Beside the options pointed out by George, there's another option: to copy the text from the original fields to fields that are located on otherwise blank pages at the end of the document. So the original field will say (in the printed copy only!) something like "See the last page" and on the last page of the document you will have the full text from the original field.
This can be achieved using a custom-made script that is embedded in the file and executes just before the file is printed.

  • How to assign printer to form

    Hi all,
i have an program in which i am using two (sap-script) forms.program will select form according to condition given.
<u>now i want to assign different printers for each form</u>.
if first form is selected, it should select perticular printer for printing and if another form is selected,it should use another printer for printing.
can you please tell me how to do this?
is there any setting in form or function module 'open_form' where we can assign printer?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Dinesh..

    Hi Dinesh,
In the OPEN_FORM function, you will find a parameter 'DEVICE'
Pass your printer name to this.. it will automatically take this printer for spool.
Further. there is one more parameter OPTIONS.. this is a structure of type ITCPO.. you will find various print parameters in this structure.. pass the values according to your requirements..
    Thanks and Best Regards,

  • How can i print a form off and for it to look exactly how it looks on the web

I have just labelled my "SUBMIT" button as "PRINT FORM" as the form I have created is a Delivery and Packing Note and I need to share this with the production department so that they can fill out the relevant details at the time of packing, hit the print button and hand it to the driver who will then basically hand the printed version over to the buyer for them to check the delivery and sign for it in the field space provided.  That is my desire but, there does not seem to be an option within the form creation suite to allow for this sort of printing preference.
Am I missing something? Please help.@

Start by getting this form to draw on the screen.
Then you'll just the replace the screen Graphics object with the printer Graphics object

  • How can I print a form using ADF JHeadstart

    Hi
I'm developing an application and I need to generate an option that lets the user print the actual page, the table form on it, without any links or botons. Is there any option in JHeadstart that let me generate it? or, What can I do?

There is no specific support in JHeadstart for creating printable pages. You can try to apply the suggestions by Frank Nimphius as described in this JHeadstart forum thread: http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?forumID=38&threadID=607348
I have logged an enhancement request for JHeadstart for printable page support.

  • How to print Adobe Forms without the black/gray backgrounds in the side columns

How can we print Adobe Forms without the black/gray backgrounds in the side columns? We are wasting a lot of ink printing out these forms and would like to have simply black ilnes to distinguish columns and black lettering, but no background colors.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am not positive what you are printing from but I am thinking it is from the View Responses tab with a response row selected and then shown in "Detail View" and that the column of field names has a dark grey background...
To change the color of the column headers select the row of headers (do this by clicking on the first dark grey header field and then scroll to the last one and shift+click on the last one), then in the "Text" tools change the text color to Black and the Fill color to white:
    (Selected the header cells)
Changed the text/font color to black and the fill color to white
Now you can see the detail view does not have the dark grey.
    Thanks,
    Josh

There is no need to post the same question repeatedly - this does not affect how quickly we can respond.

  • How do you print from the text (multiline) option so that all of the text is included?

I'm trying the trial version of formscentral and have made a form. In this form I used the text (multiline) option. I saved the form as a pdf and filled it out to test it. When I go to print the form the only text that appears is what's visible on the screen. How do I print the form so that all of the information is depicted?

This is something we are working on fixing but in the mean time what you can do is one of two things :
    1) make the multiline fields taller so that it would fit all the text in the responses.
You can do that by going to the Desing Tab and dragging the bottom right corner of a multiline text fields to make them bigger.
    2) print the Detail View instead.
From the View Responses Tab go to View > Detail View.
Select the response you want to print
Press on the printer icon at the bottom of the Detail View.
This will print the data in a name/value pair format.

how can i print this form by its components and information on the paper?
    thanks a lot MR/MRS ................
    zokho;)

Why don't you use JDK 6's capability to print directly. Please refer to this link.
    http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/J2SE/Desktop/javase6/desktop_api/
    Shouldn't
    System.getProperty("user.home")+"/Desktop/errors.txt")
    actually be
    System.getProperty("user.home")+"\\Desktop\\errors.txt")

  • How do I print all of the text in a scrollable form field?

How do I print all of the text in a scrollable form field?  When I print the form, the text becomes cut off based on the size of the field and displays a little plus sign in the lower right hand corner indicating more text.  I want to print all of the text.

The form is HTML which means what you see in your browser window is what you will see in your print out.  You can, as the form author, view the submitted data in the View Responses tab and print that out.  You can also export the responses to Excel, CSV, or PDF and print that out.

  • How do I set up a .pdf form to save filled data without having to print the form?

How do I set up a .pdf form to save filled data without having to print the form?  I have provided my clients a lifecycle .pdf form they can use to record data for unique client meetings.  They want the ability to save their completed data whenever they use the form under a unique file name.  I've told them the only way I know how to do this is to print the completed form as a .pdf document and then save it.
Is their a way to save the data to a unique file name without printing the filled form?
Is there a way to reset the form with blank fields after saving? or to add a clear fields button?
    Thanks.

If you reader extend  a pdf using livecycle reader extensions then you can save the filled in data - this is true if you are using Adobe reader to view the PDF's. If you open it in Acrobat then the functionality is already there.

  • How do I print a pdf form that has no print button?

How do I print a pdf document that has no print button or name?  It is a Florida form for handicapped drivers.

When you open a PDF in Reader or Acrobat there will be a Print toolbar button and a File > Print menu item. Other PDF viewers will have much the same.
