How do I print a spreadsheet in landscape

How do you print a spreadsheet in landscape orientation?

Alternat method:
Click the page icon at the lower left of the document window:
That will turn on Print view, and open two new icons,one for Portrait orientation, the other for Landscape orientation, plus the Content scale slider:
Click the icon for the orientation you want. Use the Content Scale slider to adjust the page coverage of the content if necessary.

  • How do i print from indesign (CS4) landscape without losing the edges.

    i'm a PC to MAC newbe. Also moved from CS2 toCS4.
    can't for the life of me figure out how to print from indesign in landscape layout without losing the left 2.5 inches of print. having the same trouble with #10 envelopes.
    your help would be appreciated!

    Usually this problem has to do with choosing the correct size and orientation of paper, both page size and print paper size.
    IOW, if you want to print to a #10 envelope, start a new document that is exactly the size of a #10 envelope. Then when you print it, choose a paper size that is exactly the size of a #10 envelope.
    What size page are you printing, and what paper size are you choosing when you print it?

  • How do I print a spreadsheet too big for A4 paper?

  • How can I print Numbers Spreadsheet without Gridlines?

    I cannot seem to hide the gridlines on my spreadsheet when printing.  I can hide them from the sheet, but i only want to hide them when printing? Please help!

    Hi Nivalda,
    This seems to work. The image is of a four column by 10 row Plain (no header rows, no header columns) table, 'Printed' to a PDF file. The file was opened in Preview, and a screen shot was taken of a portion of the 'printed' file.
    Letter/Number items are the addresses of the cells into which data was entered.
    Procedure:
    Click the table's icon in the Sheets list to select the whole table.
    In the Format bar, find this set of controls:
    Click the Color Well at the right end of this set, then choose the top left cell (showing a red diagonal).

    Hi felton48,
    That is the indication that the internet browser you are using is causing the issue. Try printing from a different interent browser.

  • I am new to Numbers and can not figure out how to only print a section of my rather large spreadsheet.  How do I only print a specific page?

    How do you print only a page or section of a spreadsheet in Numbers?

    Hi Kirsten,
    Copy the section you want to print, Insert a new Sheet into your document, Paste the copied contents into the Table that comes with that sheet. Print that sheet.
    If this will be a regular need, you might consider building a breakout table to contain the data you'll print. A search for "breakout" should bring up some examples (or check some of the "More Like This" linke to the right.
    Numbers doesn't support a means of printing a selected section of a document, probably because the design model is of a document containing many small specific purpose tables, rather than the single monolithic table that is the model in other spreadsheet applications.

  • How to print a report in landscape?

    Hi,
    I am using crystal report for visual studio 2010 and I buid a win form test application in c#. I add a crystalReportViewer1, and reportDocument1(unTyped) on the form. In the design time the report (.rpt) is in portrait paper orientation. I want to change the paper orientation to landscape at the runtime. The code snippet is as followed,
    reportDocument1.FileName = @"D:\DotNet Execises\CrystalReportsApplication\CrystalReportsApplication\CrystalReport1.rpt";
    reportDocument1.Load(reportDocument1.FileName, OpenReportMethod.OpenReportByTempCopy);
    crystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = reportDocument1;
    reportDocument1.PrintOptions.PrinterName = @"
    LINDY\HP LaserJet 4000 Series PCL 6";
    reportDocument1.PrintOptions.PaperOrientation = PaperOrientation.Landscape;
    When I click a button to print the report
            private void btnPrintCrystal_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
                crystalReportViewer1.PrintReport();
    in the print dialog box the paper orientation is correct,ie. landscape. But the actual printout is still in the portrait. Why? how can I print it in landscape?
    Thanks

    Open the report up and check on the Dissociate... option or do it in code and also.
    Try this ... cboCurrentPrinters is a dialog box I created to fill the local user printers in a list

  • How to i print only selected cells in a spreadsheet?

    How do you print only selected cells in a spreadsheet using Numbers?

    The easiest way is to export it to Excel and save that file to a Windows machine. Then, File->Print Selection. Kidding. Sort of. Like all of the Apple "productivity" software, Numbers has about a thousand things no one uses and does not have the simple things one wants.

  • Numbers spreadsheet won't print in correctly in landscape from iCloud

    I have a Numbers spreadsheet that needs to be printed in landscape to get all the columns to show. Doing this directly in Numbers works as expected and all columns show correctly. However, after it is shared onto iCloud and you attempt to print from there, selecting Landscape flips both the paper and text on the side basically giving the same result as Portrait. Can anyone else confirm this?
    Thank you.

  • How do I print all sheets in a spreadsheet using ePrint

    I am using Windows 7 and printing using the ePrint facility (sending an attache spreadsheet through the ePrint email). I want to know how I can print every tab of an excel  spreadsheet. At the moment it only prints the current tab

    Hi Pestonji, the only way to do this is by installing the HP ePrint Mobile Driver software on your laptop. Take a look at this post where someone was trying to do something similar for an explanation of how the solution would work and a download link for the software http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/ePrint-Print-Apps-Mobile/Can-you-print-multiple-powerpoint-slides-per-p...

  • How do you print landscape in iwork?

    How do you print landscape in iwork?

    Hi BellaRae,
    Page orientation can be set for each Sheet in a numbers Document. The control is at the bottom left of the document window, beside the number showing the scale of the current view.
    Two windows are open in the image below. The front one shows the 'regular view' with a page icon.
    In the 'back' window, the icon has been clicked, putting the document into Print view, and showing the orientation buttons and the scale slider. Note that the Landscape orientation button is highlighted. (Landscape is the default orientation for a Numbers document). Clicking the (black) Portrait icon switched the page orientation to Portrait (and highlights the Portrait icon).
    Orientation and scale setting apply only in Print View (and when printing). In regular view, the sheet is essentially an infinite page, and 'page breaks' do not apply.
    In Pages, Page orientation is a document property, set in File > Page Setup, or in the Document Inspector.
    Regards,
    Barry

    How do you print landscape in numbers?

    The discussion above is how you do this in the old Numbers. In the new Numbers 3 you choose the orientation in the Print Preview panel:
    On the iPad it looks like this after you tap the Tool (wrench) then Print:
    At the bottom of the screen you tap either Portrait or Landscape.

  • How to open a .ps file in landscape

    OK, I'm not sure this is the proper forum but it is where I thought I would start.
    Mac OS 10.6.4
    InDesign CS4 v6.0.5
    Acrobat Pro 9 v9.3.4
    PROBLEM:
    I've created a booklet using Letter-Half documents (i.e. 2-up on US Letter). I now need to send it to the enduser in a printable PDF.
    I've tried using the Print Booklet option but for some reason the Adobe PDF Printer is not available so I've created the document using the Adobe Postscript Printer.
    From here I opened this file using Acrobat but my problem is it is printing in Portrait not Landscape so there is extra white space on the top and bottom and the right-facing page is cut off as it runs off the page.
    I've even tried to go into "Printer Settings" at the bottom of the print dialog box and use Apple's "Print as PDF" but that didn't work.
    QUESTION:
    (1) Does anyone know why the Adobe PDF Printer isn't showing up in the printer options?
    (2) Is there an easier way to do this than what I've attempted?
    (3) If creating a .ps file is the only way to do this, then how can I get it into landscape?
    I've also tried to download and install the BookletCE.mxp script but it failed to install stating (CSXS Extensions require that the 'file' tag has a "source" attribute which is the root directory containing the files necessary to create a CSXS Extension.) what ever that means.
    I also found something called MakeBooklet.jsxbin script but when I double clicked on it, a box came up asking about a language. Again I have no clue what that means.

    The Adobe PDF printer is no longer available in Snow Leopard. This is an announce to this fact at the entrance to the Acrobat Macintosh forum. The old methods for doing what you want will not work in Snow Leopard. I recommend you look at Quite Imposing. It can do everything you want and more. Alas, it comes at a price.

  • PDF Report prints Portrait Instead of Landscape

    Hi,
    We've created several PDF reports - some that print portrait and some landscape. For the portrait reports, they print fine both from Adobe Acrobat and directly from Oracle to the printer.
    When we try to print a Landscape report, it prints as Landscape from Acrobat, but portrait from Oracle. We followed note 421358.1 on Metalink on how to set up a new .cfg file , print style, and print driver for printing landscape reports, but now it's not printing at all when we assign the style to the report. We tried removing -pairs and -shrink from the cfg file (Oracle analyst suggetsion) and it's still not printing.
    Has anyone else had this much trouble trying to set up Landscape printing? We're using the acroread tool.
    Thanks,
    Suzanne

    If you've bounced your concurrent manager, double checked your command string and it still doesn't print right, what O/S do you have and what version of acroread do you have? There's a known bug in Adobe 7 on HP-UX where landscape reports will generate in landscape correctly(i.e. copies=0) but when sent directly to a printer, they come out portrait. It happened to us on our system.
    I tried -shrink and -landscape but it didn't work. Our user decided to just generate them and print them elsewhere.
