How do I print from a Help page?

Hi all.
A newbie here.
Quite regularly I find the need to use the help function on my OS 10.5.5 Mac and at times the help information is of considerable length, too long to write out long hand.
My question, how can I get the printer to print from an open help page?
I have clicked on all the tabs at the top of the page but no joy.
In Windows I can just click Control and P at the same time and I get a print, but this does not appear to work with the Mac system, so how do I print?

Thanks guys.
The "Gear" method appears to be the simplest.
I could have sworn that I checked EVERY tab and menu looking for a print option. I am damned if I know how I missed that one.
It's a good thing I have you guys to help me out.
Thanks to all.
Regards

  • How can I print from Adobe Help?

I've just upgraded to Lightroom 3 and can't find any way to print a section of the help docs. Adobe Help seems to not even have basic print functionality. It must be hiding somewhere surely. Can someone enlighten me?

There's a link in the upper right corner to view the help as pdf,
and from there you can print as much as you want to, and with better
formatting than from a web page.
Ah! Thank you Beat - I appreciate the quick response.

  • How Can I Print from my Microsoft Surface Running Windows 8 RT?

How Can I Print from my Microsoft Surface Running Windows 8 RT?
Most new wireless printers won’t have a problem printing from the Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 RT.  All you should have to do for these printers is tell them to print and they will.  Older wireless, Ethernet, and USB printers might not have an officially supported driver in Windows 8 RT, but there is a way to get the printers working.  There are different requirements depending on how the printer is being connected to the Surface.
Note:  All steps below are only for PhotoSmart, OfficeJet, DeskJet, and other HP Inkjet printers.  These steps are not for Laserjet printers or printers from other manufacturers.  These steps may not work for all Inkjet printers.  If these steps don’t work, try different drivers from the list until you find one that will work (you’ll understand what I mean once you follow the steps below).  If none of the drivers work, your printer will not work with the Surface.
For networked printers (wireless or Ethernet), all you need is either the Surface keyboard, or an external USB keyboard to connect to the Surface.  This just makes anything you have to type easier to type.  You will also need to have the Surface and the printer connected to the same network.
Starting from the right edge, swipe your finger left on the Surface screen to bring up the Charms bar.
    Touch Search.
Below the Search Box, touch Settings.
In the search Box, type Devices and Printers.
    Touch Devices and Printers.
    Touch Add a Printer.
Touch “My printer is not listed”.
Select the TCP/IP option and touch Next.
Enter the printer’s IP address and touch Next.  Note:  You can get this from the printer’s Network Configuration Page, or from your router’s DHCP list.
The Surface will locate the printer and try to install it.  The install will fail and the Surface will ask you what you want to do, search the internet for the driver, or manually install the driver.  Choose to install the driver yourself.
Touch “I want to choose from a list of drivers”.
If no drivers appear in the list, make sure the box next to “Show compatible drivers” is not checked.
Choose HP from the Manufacture list.
Choose DeskJet PCL 3 Class Driver from the Drivers list.  If that driver doesn't work, try using the Photosmart PCL3 driver, or the Officejet PCL 3 driver.  (Thank you JonW for letting me know about these other alternates. )
    Touch Next.
    Touch Finish.
    Test printing.
For USB connected printers, you will need a USB cord to attach the printer to the computer.
Connect the printer to the computer via USB.
Windows will try to find the drivers but will not be able to.
Here Windows may ask you if you want to choose the driver to install.  If it does skip to step 14 below.
Starting from the right edge, swipe your finger left on the Surface screen to bring up the Charms bar.
    Touch Search.
Under the Search box, touch Settings.
In the Search box, type Device Manager.
    Touch Device Manager.
Touch View and select Show Hidden.
Search for the printer in the Device Manager.  It should be under Other Devices with a yellow caution sign beside it.
Select the printer from the list.
    Touch Action.
Touch Update Driver, or Install whichever one it displays.
The Surface will ask you what you want to do, search the internet for the driver, or manually install the driver.

The laserjet 1020 only has manual duplexing capabilities. Please refer to this document for a complete set of instructions.

  • Having dowanloaded Yosemite, I find that I can' enlarge the print on the Help pages.   The Command  keystroke does n`t seem to work.   Any body any ideas as to haw to do it in the new OS X ?

Having downloaded Yosemite, I find that I can't enlarge the print on the Help pages.   The 'Command +' keystroke doesn't seem to work.   Anybody any ideas as to how to do it in the new OS X 10.10 ?

    Hi ..
Command + T should definitely work.
Restart your Mac then try again.
If that doesn't help, a Safe Mode boot deletes some system caches that may help after an OS X upgrade.
Top left corner of your screen click the  Apple   > Shut Down.
After your Mac shuts down, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold down the Shift key. You should press the Shift key as soon as possible after you hear the startup tone, but not before.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.
Once you are in Safe Mode, go back to the Apple  menu. From the drop down menu click:  Restart
Then try enlarging the text in a Help window.
    About Safe Mode.

  • How can I print from ipad to non wireless printer?

How can I print from ipad to non wireless printer.
....been trying to save document to pc to print.... but cant find a way to do so.....?

Actually you can print to a non wireless printer if you have apps on the iPad and your computer that will do this and as long as you can set up a WiFi network or the iPad and the computer are already on the same network.
I Am running an old OSX version on my iMac at work (Tiger OSX 10.4.11) and I have an app on my iPad called Save2 pdf. I downloaded a helper app on the Mac called WePrint. I do not have WiFi at work, but I create a WiFi network using the Ethernet connection to the Mac that my iPad can also join. As long as I can send the file/text/document to the Save2pdf app, I can print it on my old HP LaserWriter1012 which is not a wireless printer. This uses the Mac as the print server and the WePrint app on the Mac sends the doecument to the printer.
It's not a very elegant solution, and it is a little convoluted, but it does work.

  • How can I print directly out of Pages on my iPad?

How can I print directly out of Pages on my iPad if my Brother printer is not airprint compatible? I currently have a Brother MFC-J615W and have downloaded the Brother iPrint app; but that only works with pictures and PDFs it seems.  I know I can use the cloud to transfer and just print from my macbook, but I am starting school and would love to cut out that middle step if possible.  I know... how lazy is that? But I feel like I should be able to make it work with a little ingenuity.  Thanks for any info you can provide.

Try to arrange them manually afterwards: afaik, it is impossible to force an order when syncing:

How can I print from my Kindle Fire HD?  I have an e-printer (HP Photosmart 7510 C3lla e-All-In- Onew series).  I can print from my Apple I-Pad but cannot determine if/how I can print from the Kindle Fire HD.

Android devices do not support built in printing liek airprint on your apple device, so you will have to use the HP Eprint Home and Biz app in order to print from that device. It is available for free in the Amazon Market.

  • How can I print from my iPhone to a non AirPrint printer

How can I print from my iPhone to a non AirPrint printer?  I was told by an Apple tech to do so via Airpot Express USB port. I already have a wired and wireless network and printers connected via Ethernet.  I am just trying to print from my iPad and/or iPhone to my existing printers...if possible. I tried the airport express but that does not appear to do what I need. Any help or a definitive "no way" would be appreciated.

There are third-party apps that permit this. If on a MAC, get this:

    PC, get this:

You need to turn on Printer Sharing on both the PC and OS X. I can't help you on Vista but in OS X it's System Preferences - Sharing - check the Printer Sharing box.

  • How can I print from my MacBook Pro to Canon MP560 using rear tray?  I can't find that "option" in the print selection possibilities.

How can I print from my MacBook Pro to Canon MP560 using rear tray?  I can't find that "option" in the print selection possibilities.

    Sure can.
With a document open in Pages, select to print so that you can see the print dialog as shown below.
Note that to see this view, you may need to press the Show Details button in the bottom left corner. In the image above, since I have the expanded view displayed, this button changes to Hide Details
So with the view shown, first change the Presets menu to Default Settings. Then click the Layout drop menu and select Quality & Media. Make the changes you want and then click on the Presets menu and select Save Current Settings as Preset...
At the next window, give the Preset a name and select the Only this Printer radio button and then click OK to save it. That's it.
As for the Preset that you already have, if you no longer want this preset then you can delete it via the Show Presets menu pane that you've used already.

  • How do i print from my iphone to my photosmart a646

I have an Iphone 4S.  My printer (A646)  recognizes it, but it doesn't recognize the printer via the bluetooth.  How can I print from my Iphone?
    Thanks

Currently there isnt really a way to do this. All you can do is copy to a computer, then print from there. If you happen to have one of the adapters for the iphone that allows you to hook up a memory card to it, you could copy photos to that, and then put that in to the SD slot on the printer. This may only be available for the ipad though.
There arent really any current mobile photo printers either as a replacement to that. The only mobile printer still sold is the officejet 100 mobile, which is bluetooth and has the same issue. If you dont need the printer to be mobile, your best bet may be the photosmart 5510. It is much bigger than your current unit, but is the most compact photosmart and fully supports airprint.
