Basic, basic question - how to order prints from more than one album at onc

I am having two problems with iphoto - I would be most grateful for any help. First, when I go to upload my photos to a web-based printing company (like shutterfly or snapfish), and I click on the vendor's "browse" photos to find the album to upload, the way the photos come up does not correspond to my album titles in iphoto, so I can't find them. I have my photos sorted in labeled albums, and would like to upload them as such, but when I click on iphoto library, it brings up all kinds of other files that don't correspond to my current file labels. Can anyone help?
Equally irritating, when I use apple's "order print" features, it only lets me order from one album at a time. I'd like to order from multiple albums all at once, without paying shipping for each one. Any ideas? Again, most grateful for any advice.

Hi, Sestew, and welcome to Apple Discussions.
Problem 1: Export the photos you want printed from iPhoto to a folder on the desktop. Use the printer's browser to navigate to that folder and upload them to the printing company from it. After uploading them, trash the folder that contains the exported copies. The pictures are still safe in your iPhoto library.
Problem 2: Create a new album and place all the pictures you want printed in it. (A photo can appear in any number of albums, so doing this won't remove any of the pictures from the other albums they're already in.) Then order that album printed. Delete the album after ordering, if you wish — the pictures will remain in whatever other albums you've placed them in.

How can I synchronize safely from more than one computer?

First, I have set up my iPod to work with two computers: my primary computer, which is my desktop at home. Later, I also "authorized" my laptop (as a secondary source) to also be able sync to my iPod.
My question is that when I go to synchronize some podcasts I just downloaded to my secondary computer (my laptop), I get the following prompt: "Are you sure you want to sync podcasts? All existing podcsts on the iPod '<my iPod's name>' will be replaced with podcasts from your iTunes library."
From this message, since my iPod is plugged into my laptop, I assume it's referring to my iTunes library on my laptop (which only has the few podcasts I just downloaded). And it sounds like it's going to delete the podcasts that are already on my iPod.
I definitely don't want it to "replace" the ones I already have sync'd from my home computer; +_I just want to add the ones I have downloaded to my laptop._+ How can I make it so I can safely add the new ones without disturbing those I already have sync'd and want to keep? I'm a bit confused about how syncing works when you have more than one computer to sync to the iPod.

You cannot do what you want.
The ipod touch can sync with ONE computer/library at a time.
When you sync to a different computer/library, the ipod touch will first delete the current itunes content form the iphone, then it will sync the content from the new computer.
This is the way it is designed.

How to use ipod w/ more than one computer

I am new to ipod. I set it up on my laptop, and have all uploaded my cds to my ipod from there. I do nat have internet at home, so tried using my parents computer. How do you use the ipod with another computer that doesn't have all your songs on it? When I go to sync it, it ask if i want to delete all my ipod songa and replace with the ones on the other computer. I am trying to get album artwork. What am I not doing right?

If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer or with more than one library you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply. The content of iTunes and the iPod are not syncronised in this mode so the two can be different. You can directly access the content of the iPod and play it through iTunes and you can drag and drop whatever you want to the iPod from either library. Even when manually managing an iPhone, you can only add content from one iTunes library.

Something else to be aware of when using an iPod in manual mode is that the "Do Not Disconnect" message will remain on the display until you physically eject the device: Safely Disconnect IPod
You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer: iTunes - Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows
When your iPod appears in the iTunes source list change the update setting to manual, that way you can continue to use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it.

Manage music and videos manually from more than one computer

Hello,
I'm triying to transfer music from two computers (work computer and home computer) to my iPhone. The problem is that when I select the Manage music and videos manually on my iTunes and then apply it keep saying that the iPhone is already synchronized with another computer and if I accept I lose all the media (video and music) on my iPhone. I just want to add new videos and new music manually without losing the existing ones, is it possible?.
I'm using the iPhone 3G with iTunes 7.7 (last version) and Windows Vista.

How do I order prints from more than one Photo in Aperture?

I can figure out how to order prints through Apple for ONE photo but can't find how to add more photos to the order. Is there a manul for Aperture 3.4.5 version? This whole program has me confused. I need a manual I think. Thank you.

But the easist way: make an album with the pics, then select all and order those.

How to concat columns from more than one record?

I have a function that takes an Oracle long and returns it as a varchar so that I can use it in the Microsoft world. I have been using remote desktop for some time and have a port forward set so I can connect to our mail server from anywhere else externally from my macbook pro, but how can I connect to other macs in the office when there only seems to be the two ports available for use 5900 and 3283. I can only port forward to one computer? How can I connect to multiple computers when not within the same network? are there other ports available?

If your workstations get their addresses from an NAT device rather than being "real", the ports also need to be forwarded in the router to the workstation's internal IP address. ARD uses port 3283 for the reporting and updating function, so if your Macs are getting their IP addresses through NAT, since you can only forward a port to a single workstation, you can only get reports, push package/files to etc. for a single workstation.
ARD uses the VNC protocol for observation and control, though, and there are a range of IP addresses for that protocol, starting with 5900. ARD uses 5900 by default, so that port would be forwarded to the first workstation. You would, I believe, need to install third-party VNC software on the systems (since the ARD client cannot listen on any port other than 5900 while other VNC systems can be set for other ports such as 5901, 5902, etc. You would then forward 5901 to the second workstation (and on to 5902, 5903, etc.). You can then use the following information:

The only other options are: 1) to run the ARD administrator on a workstation on the network, and then take control of that system from outside, either via VNC or another copy of ARD, or 2) set up a virtual private network (VPN) so that when you connect from outside, your admin system is officially part of the local network.

Networked L7680 does not work from more than one computer at a time.

Have installed latest driver software on both computers. Printer will only work with one computer on at a time. When I run windows device trouble shooter from the last computer turned on it says printer is off. It works ok from the first computer turned on.
Any help is appreciated.

How to link Print layout more than one

Dear Experts,
We have some customers need to issue COC (certificate of compliance) while making Sales - delivery.
We are thinking to make COC print layout in system, but I don't know how to link it with delivery print layout ? which means when we print delivery then the COC will print out as well... Also, can we set up the COC will be printed out with delivery documents just for some specific customers who need COC?

I have created the COC print layout and now, would like to link it with original default delivery print layout to have the consequence: once priniting the delivery, then the COC will print out as well.
But, I don't get it how to set up the F_100 == '2' ??
Is this field created on delivery print layout or COC layout? and how to set condition all fields to this F_100 ? in the "link_ to" filed or "related to" field ??
