How do I print from my iPad 2 to my Lexmark 900 series printer?
How do I print from my Ipad2 to my Lexmark 900 series printer?
The Lexmark Pro900 Series is not AirPrint compatible but you can use the LexPrint app to print from an iOS device. You would also need to install the LexPrint Listener to a host computer which will serve as a bridge for your printer and iOS device. Just go to http://bit.ly/KY8eCI for more information.

Your Brother HL2710 needs to be an airprinter. I do not see it on the list.
printing to a non-airprinter from an iPad
To print from the iPad, your going to have to install some more software:
-- install a printer app on the ipad. many printer makers have iPad applications for their printers. Look in the app store
-- install enabling software on a computer which you have connected the printer

Can I print from my IPad if I have a wireless printer
Can I print from my iPad if I have a wireless printer?
Yes, you can. However, it's possible that the annotations you make may not print correctly from the iPad because of limitations in how iOS renders annotations.
It will work with an AirPrint-enabled printer, or you could print to other printers with an app like PrinterPro (which is what I use). -

Good day, my iPad does not seem to pick up my printer. My printer is not AirPrint compatible but is connected to my airport express thru the USB port. My laptop which is windows type connects to the printer via airport express thru bonjour and this work well. My iPad does not pick up my printer thru the airport express. I have read about different software that you can download but this seems to be only if you are using a mac. I know my express is working fine as I can use airplay thru my iPad. Any ideas? I do not want to go to the expense of changing my printer, when there was no mention in the express details that your printer had to be AirPrint compatible or indeed wireless.
See this article to learn how to print from an iPad to your USB printer when you have a PC. The PC will need to be running when you want to print from the iPad.

Hello Jfadair9,
Thanks for the post. I'm not sure which model printer that you have but you should be able to print from your iPad 2 with the HP Home and Biz application. This is for wireless printers that are NOT web enabled. I've included a link below with some great information on how to get this resolved. Good Luck!

If your printer doesn't support Airplay natively, software like Printopia will make it available if you have a Mac that's always on when you want to print.

All of a sudden i can no longer air print from my iphone 4S or my ipad 2
Need help
I can still air print from my Dell laptopHello rcappel,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when printing from your iPhone and iPad. I found a couple of resources I recommend for the issue you described.
First, I recommend following these steps:
If you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found"
Verify that the printer:
Has power and is turned on. If it has power, turn the printer off and then on again to see if that resolves the issue.
Is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.
Has the latest firmware version installed.
Has paper with enough ink or toner installed.
Is free of any errors displayed on the printer's control panel.
If necessary, consult the printer documentation or contact the printer vendor for help with the above steps.
You can find the full article here:
AirPrint Basics
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
If you are still having trouble printing after following those steps, I recommend these steps:
Wi-Fi disconnects, or signal strength is less than expected
Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
Check for sources of potential interference.
Remove any case, stand, or other accessories from your iOS device and see if signal strength improves.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings including: previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords, recently used Bluetooth accessories, VPN and APN settings.
You can find the full article here:

How do I print from my iPad? can't find my printer. It did at one time print!
This question was solved.
View Solution. In order to AirPrint from your iPad/iPhone, here's all you need to do:
1. Make sure the printer and iPad/iPhone are connected to the same local network.
2. Open something you want to print (on the iPad/iPhone).
3. On the iPad/iPhone, tap the "Action" button (arrow curving out of a box).
4. Tap "Print".
If you have any issues the below steps should be able to help you out:
1. Power off the printer.
2. Completely power off the iOS devices (hold the Sleep and Home buttons simultaneously until a message appears asking you to "Slide to power off". Slide across that bar, and it should completely power off).
3. Power the printer back on.
4. Power the iOS devices back on.
5. Try to print again.
Those steps usually resolve the issue. If they do not, try this additional steps:
6. Power cycle your router (usually done by unplugging the router’s power cord, waiting 20 seconds, and plugging it back in).
7. Make sure that the iOS devices and the printer are all connected to the same network, then try to print.
If I have SOLVED your issue, please feel free to provide KUDOS and make sure you mark this thread as SOLUTION PROVIDED!

My windows firewall is disabled (protected by Comcast's Norton program) so that should not be a problem. Should I down load Bonjour?
Hello Bleedingblue65
Check out the section highlighted below to troubleshoot your issues printing through AirPrint.
AirPrint Basics
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
If you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found"
Verify that the printer:
Has power and is turned on. If it has power, turn the printer off and then on again to see if that resolves the issue.
Is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the iOS device.
Has the latest firmware version installed.
Has paper with enough ink or toner installed.
Is free of any errors displayed on the printer's control panel.
If necessary, consult the printer documentation or contact the printer vendor for help with the above steps.
Notes:
AirPrint printers connected to the USB port of the Apple AirPort Base Station or Time Capsules are not supported with AirPrint.
Some Wi-Fi AirPrint printers can take several minutes to join a Wi-Fi network after being turned on. Ensure that the AirPrint printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network before attempting to print.

It is possible to print from an iPad to my HP 5520 Photosmart printer?
Do I need to have a Mac switched on to be able to print from a web page in the iPad Air ?
Your printer appears to be Airprint enabled. If the printer is on Wifi, all you need to do is choose the forward button on any page you want to print, then choose print and your printer should be viewable by your device. Choose your printer and print. You will only have to choose your printer once as it will be remembered the next time.
