How do I print from my iPad air to the officejet 6700 premium

Printing from my IPad air to the office jet 6700 premium

Hi,
The most straight forwad way to print from your ipad is to make sure that both devices and the printer are connected to the same wifi network. Once this is complete, you'll be able to print from within the apple software using the print option (this is done using apple's inbuilt airprint technology).
Alternatively, with the same wifi connections, you could download the HP eprint app and print from within the app. Once everything is connected to the same network, you'll see your printer from within the app and be able to print to it.

How can I print from my ipad air without buying a new "air print" compatable printer? I currently have a HP Photosmart plus B210. Can I make that work?

Although you have posted in a Mavericks forum, implying that you have a Mac computer, your profile doesn't say that you have one. Printer Pro requires the printer to be connected to a Mac.

  • How can I print from an iPad while off the grid?

Is there any way to simply print from an iPad without there being a wifi network available?  I mean, If I get a printer with AirPrint or blue tooth or something, can I just connect my iPad up directly to that printer and print from it?  I am planning to set up events where there is no wifi signal, such as at a fairgrounds, and I would like to be able to print art and information out for visitors.  It sounds like a great idea and would really help expand my work.  But I am not finding any good solutions.  I would even take a printer with a dock for the iPad if possible.
Has anyone ever come across anything like this?  If not, why haven't they made something like this yet?  It seems to easy to create and work with and would make printing very hassle free for many people.

Get an Air Print printer of your choice - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
Get an Airport Express Base Station - http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC414/airport-express-base-station
Create your own little wi-fi net work with the base station, connect both the printer and the iPad to the network and print to your heart's desire.

If you already have a printer, you can probable use a program like, printopia to let your mac share your printer with the iOS device like your iPad. The catch being your computer has to be on, and not asleep, for the printer to work with your iPad.
If you need a printer that is airprint ready, you can find a list on AirPrint, wireless printing straight from your iPad. Check out the bottom of the page where it says works with airprint enabled printers. There are even links on the page so you can buy the printers right from Apple's website.

  • How can I make my printer airprint compatible so I can print from my iPad air?

How can I make my printer airprint compatible so I can print from my iPad air?

If you have a Mac, you can usually install an application like Printopia to allow the iPad to print to your printer.
There is a free trial, so you will know if Printopia works for you before you buy. Details here:
    Printopia - Ecamm Network
There are other apps that do the same things, but I have not tried them, so cannot comment on them.

If your printer is on this list, then it's an air print enabled printer and your iPad should print to it with no other fiddling.
If it's not an air print printer you can look in the app store and see if Brother has any apps that can help you, or any work arounds they support.
if not, then you can look into third party printing apps. I used print n share, but I also see printopia and print central recommended, and I'm sure there are others.

    No.
Printopia (running on your Mac) connects the iPad to your printer.

    Hi,
Firstly please check to see if your printer in the list:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
If YES, you can use this to fix/setup:
    iPad: http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/assistant/airprint/
    iPhone: http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/airprint/
If NO you have to print using other apps (if applicable) such as

If the app won't let you print directly from it you might want to open in safari or make a screen capture then print from your photos.
