How do I print or view a contact list backed up to my Laptop?
Hey everyone,
My blackberry finally died and I got a new phone. The problem is my new phone is not a blackberry so I can't just restore my backup. How do I get my contacts onto the Droid Razr that I just purchased?
At the very least, is there a way to just view or print out my contacts and I could input them manually?
The file extensions in the backup folder are bbb and ipd files.

If you already have your backup there are many free software available who can read ,extract any ipd file like :
MagicBerry from Mena step or ABC Amber BlackBerry Converter and many more.

I've not failed to do that. The contact list on my Mac is from my phone, not my wifes phone (which is the troublesome one). I restored it to last backup and it is back but I am not certain the problem will be fixed. Time will tell. My question is how to get her phones contact list back post reset...just the contact list.

When I downloaded the photos from my camera, I thought they would go to My Pictures as they did in the past. They are now in a section called "media". Not sure about how that works either. How do I send photos directly from the Media category. I highlighted and clicked share, added the email address. It said it was sent but they all came back as mail 'failure'. thanks for any info! I have a Folder called "Pictures" (My Pictures seems a bit "Windowsy" to me)
I don't have a Media folder inside there.
It would help to know if this is actually within the iTunes Library
Having said that I tend to use Eric's Method.
Pic of My own Card in the Contacts list
It shows where I have used Faces (from iPhoto) and Defaults (Login pic choices for the Account pic).
My iChat/Messages pic is the same Signature pic as used here and is in the Recents Tab on show.
You can even use the Camera if one is attached (Mac Minis and Mac Pro require External Cameras).
Drag and Drop is my preferred method.

I tried to sync my iphone 4, all my contact list got messed up, all of them got douplicated. And plus I got some of my old deleted contact lists back to my iphone!!what should I do?
iTunes only keeps one backup, every new backup replaces the old one, only backups used to restore from are not overwritten and marked with a time stamp.
If you can't find any other backup in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, your contact info's are gone. Only if you included the backup folder in your computer backup routine, you would be able to restore the old backup folder containing the latest backup at that time.

Print or save OVI contact list ?
How do you print and (or) save the contact list from a Nokia 6350-1b ?
I syncted it into OVI but I can not get it into a printable program.
Somehow the names-list also got into Outlook Express,but with a telephone number for only one of the names on the list.
Also OVI copied only 4 out of all of pictures from the phone.
I could not save or print the pictures to a usable format either.
All OVI seems to be able do is backup the contact list to the phone (but not the pictures).
I would like to get information out of the phone and then do what I want with it.
PC Suite does not support the 6350, but OVI claims to be able to support it. Therefore I am attempting to use OVI.
PS: When I am E-mailed that I have a response to this, what will be in the subject line? I may have to search for the subject in my junk mail, where real mail sometimes goes.Hi mosswood 17

is there a way to print just the to do list from iCal or mail (not events) or to print only calendar dates with entries and the to do list (on the list option) or print to do lists on the side of the monthly calendar??
If you choose the "list" option in View on the print dialog box and uncheck everything at the bottom except "To do items" you may be able to get what you're looking for. It appears that the list includes all todos including those without due dates, so you might have to do something to assign due dates to all your todos and in iCal preferences restrict the visibility of todos outside of a certain date range. Unfortunately, you can't save any of this work into a standard report (at least not that I know of) - the print dialog in iCal starts from scratch every time you invoke it. Hope that helps at least some.

How do I select multiple addresses from the contacts list at one time to send an email. Each time I select one, the address book closes and I have to touch the "+" key to open it back to select another address. Is there a way to select all of them at one time instead of making a group? Thanks.
Yes, once you select a person from your Contacts app, you either need to select more from the '+' button or you can tap in the 'to:' field and type in the first few letters of a contact and select from the list. Kinda bummer but gotta make do.

I am receiving e-mails from the community regarding their problems or questions. How can I take my ID off of this contact list and only post a question?
To stop future emails, click 'My Stuff' at top right, select 'Preferences' , then in the next page select the 'Email Notification Preferences' tab and click all the 'No' radio buttons. Then click 'Save'.
If you already have notifications set on some threads you will still get emails from them. Click on your username at the top, then under 'Actions' in the right sidebar, select "'Manage email notifications.' This will show the threads you've set up notifications on in the past. Select those you want to stop and click the 'Remove Selected Notifications' button at bottom. -
How do I rename an email address contact list and delete an old one?
I want the names of my Contact Lists to reveal which one it is instead of the generic Personal or Contact List. I want to combine two of them into one but can't figure out how to delete the old one. It's probably really simple but evidently the solor flare-ups have rendered me incapable of figuring out things like this! Thanks!

My iphone 4s is importing contact information from FB and my e-mail account. When I try to look at my contact list it is showing everyone I have on those lists and it only shows their email addresses. The phone numbers for my contacts have disappeared and I don't know how to get them back.
Hi macmac57. I don't memorize my numbers anymore, so I know how important it is to have all your contacts on your phone at all times. Did an update occur or a new application download when your contacts disappeared? Have you been backing up your device with your computer? You can try to restore your contacts from your last backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
Are you syncing your iPhone between multiple computers? This can sometimes create issues with your contacts. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1474
