How do I print photos from iPhoto on my new iPad2?

I can't use Mpix and Shutterfly since they don't support Flash. Is there a way to order straight from iphoto? Or some other site I can use that doesn't use Flash where I can order prints?
Thanks!

When your iPad is connected, select your iPad under devices in iTunes. There will be a photos tab, and you can either sync everything or choose certain events/albums etc

  • How do I transfer photos from iphoto to my new ipad?

Just bought my wife and I new iPads.  We have a MacBook Pro and all all pictures are on her profile.  How do I synch my iPad with iPhoto on her profile (I obviously want to stay away from her iTunes profile as all my songs and videos are over on my profile on our MacBook Pro)

You either need to share the iPhoto library with both computer login accounts, transfer the photos from her iPhoto library to your iPhoto library under your computer login account, or try transferring photos only from iPhoto under her computer login account - transferring photos from iPhoto under the Photos tab will be the only thing selected under the various tabs for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes under her computer login account. I don't believe the latter will work.

  • How do I get photos from iPhoto to my new computer?

I have a new MacBook Pro and I am using the copy-paste method of getting data from my exteranl hard drive to the new computer. I am doing this rather than using the migration assistant to avoid putting any corrupt files on the new MacBook Pro. My problem is that I have many photos in iPhoto on my old MacBook Pro that I would like to transfer to the new one and I can not figure out how to do this. Any advice on a step by step process would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you do not want to use Migration Assistant, email the photos to your new computer.  Use Transfer Big Files.  It's free up to 1GB.

How do I transfer photos from iPhoto to Adobe Elemnet?

    Hi
iPhoto is a software application used to import, organize, edit, print, and share digital photos on a Mac OS.
Elements Organizer 10 supports importing photos from iPhoto '09 (versions 8.0 – 8.1.2) and iPhoto’11 (versions 9.0 – 9.1.3). You cannot import photos from versions previous to iPhoto '09.
    Import photos from iPhoto ‘09
Elements Organizer 10 supports importing photos, along with their associated captions, tags, and ratings, from iPhoto. You also have the option to import information such as events and albums to maintain the organization of your library
Select Files > Get Photos And Videos > From iPhoto.
Note:  The iPhoto option is not displayed if iPhoto is not installed on your computer.
    The Import From iPhoto dialog
(Optional) You can convert events in iPhoto to individual albums in Elements Organizer 10. In the Import From iPhoto dialog, select Convert Events From iPhoto Into Albums.
When you import an album and event with the same name, a single album is created and all associated photos are added to the album.
(Optional) Select More options if you want to choose the events and albums for import. Select the events and albums you want to import.
    Click Import.
    Import photos from iPhoto ‘11
Select File > Get Photos And Videos > From iPhoto. Click Import.

  • I can no longer print photos from iPhoto.

When I try to print photos from iPhoto, I get the error message:  There were no themes located. Until at least one theme has been installed, this feature will be unavailable. The solution offered by iPhoto help is ridiculous as it assumes that you can get past the error message and on to the option to choose a theme. No so.  The error message is the end of the road.  This is a new problem for me.  Apparently there was an automatic update and now I am updated to no longer being able to print my own photos. Apparently (according to traffic on Google) this is not a new issue, but I haven't seen a solution.  Can't deny that I am royally ****** off.

when i try to print a photo: select>file>print a box comes up stating ' no available themes'

  • HT1535 how do i transfer photos from iphoto on my imac to my new ipad

I have read and reread the ipad manual and under importing photos and videos -  this is all it says,
"To transfer the photos to your computer, connect iPad to your computer and import the images with a photo application such as iPhoto or Adobe Elements."
There are no explicite instructions on how to get the photos from iPhoto onto my iPad.  There is nothing in iPhoto either.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

how do i move photos from iPhotos to an extern hard disk

    Specifically from?
You export them: File -> Export
    This User Tip
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4921
has details of the options in the Export dialogue.
Or if you want to, you can keep the images in iPhoto and move the Library to an external:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Not using the correct structure. Camera's use a very exact structure and the only way the camera will see photos on the card is for them to be in that exact structure

  • How can I import photos from iPhoto-library to edit in Photoshop CC? - and save it back to the iPhoto-library?

How can I import photos from iPhoto-library to edit in Photoshop CC? - and save it back to the iPhoto-library?

How to access iPhoto images for use in Photoshop
    1. In the Finder, navigate to Users > [user name} > Pictures > iPhoto Library.
    2. Control-click the iPhoto Library file and choose Show Package Contents.
    3. A Finder window opens that shows the contents. The Masters folder (or called Originals folder) contains all of the photographs that are in iPhoto.
Photoshop cannot access this folder, but if you make a duplicate of the folder, the dupe will be accessible -- so:
    4. Control-click the folder named Masters (or Originals) and choose Duplicate.
5, Drag the duplicate folder which is named "Masters copy" or “Originals copy” from the iPhoto Library Finder window to the Desktop.
    6. Open images in Photoshop from file on desktop.
7  Rename the folder and move it elsewhere (probably to the Pictures folder), if desired.
