How do I properly uninstall Adobe X?

I have a copy of Adobe X that is on one user's laptop. This user is getting a new laptop due to screen problems. I do NOT see a place in Adobe X to Un-Register. I do not want to just unistall it and then install on the new machine and run into license issues. What is the proper way to unistall Adobe X from the old laptop?

Thank You for posting on the forums. You can follow the below mentioned steps to deactivate Acrobat on the user's system.
1) launch Acrobat
2) Go to Help>Deactivate
3) Now you can go ahead and uninstall Acrobat

How do I completely uninstall Adobe Updater?

Greetings.
I have been trying to completely remove Adobe Updater from my computational machine, but I'm having troubles as it seems to be stuck in there like a gadfly on a horse' arse. I have uninstalled some very, very annoying toolbars in my time, and I've removed viruses that were a lot easier to remove than this Adobe Updater thing.
What I've tried:
- Looking for a bloody uninstall-executable.
- Removing everything related to Adobe in any way from my computer.
Needless to say, it still came back from the graveyard to haunt me. SO. How do I purge this cursed software once and for all?

Not sure what you're doing, but the AAMUpdater is merely an entry in the registry. It won't go away, but you can prevent it from ever launching. There is no separate install/uninstall. It comes with every Adobe app. Trying to actually remove the files in the OOBE folder would be foolish and damage your Adobe programs...

Unable to properly uninstall adobe reader 10.0.1

I have run the uninstaller from programs and features. However all the software is still listed under the program files. I am still able to open adobe reader. It still has all of its features. Even the shortcuts work. The registry is littered with adobe reader entrys so its going to take forever to manually remove the registry keys. this is affecting several machines
Since the program isn't listed in the programs and features is there another way to uninstall?
Windows Vista/windows 7 32 and 64 bit OS's.

I don't know what "programs and features" means; is that the Windows 7 version of Add/Remove Programs?
If you cannot remove it using the standard method, try using CCleaner (Tools) or the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459).

How do I manually uninstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro?

The program crashed when using compiling the results of a distributed form.
I cannot open or compile any of my distributed forms, or even open the Tracker.
I uninstalled the program and reinstlled it, but the same problem exists.
I cannot use any existing distributed forms or create new ones.
I would like to try a manual uninstall.
Reformatting my hard drive is a last resort.

Thank you for your recommendation to use Filemaker Pro. We will be buying the program soon.
The documentation for the Microsoft Installer Clean-up tool says 1) that other programs might be uninstalled also, and 2) you should not use it if you have Microsoft Office 2007 installed on your computer. i checked out the referral link for those who have Office 2007 installed, and it gives instructions for uninstalling Office 2007.

As a user of SEVERAL Adobe products, I am really NOT loving the fact that there is NO CLEAR answer that I can find here (OR even in doing a Google search) for how to completely REMOVE/UNINSTALL Adobe Digital Editions 3 (for Mac)...and there are a couple/few UNanswered Adobe Communities posts (such as this one) asking this SAME question!
If you're going to create an installer for the MacOS platform (which does NOT have the built-in Winblows uninstall "feature"), then PLEASE DO either include a uninstaller tool (either installed during the install process, built into the installer as an option, OR have clear, official, and easily accessible step-by-step instructions on how to do this!
You've lost ANY shot of my returning to ADE software by not having these features...please do help me re-instill some "faith" in your company's responsiveness to the current LACK of support that I am experiencing in attempting to remove this unwanted software from my computer!

I DO very much appreciate the swift effort at attempting to help...but that is NOT a working resolution for me.
1) As I was very clear on in my OP and title, I am seeking assistance with uninstalling Adobe Digital Editions 3 (for Mac)...
2) BECAUSE Adobe is distributing this software as an "installer", I am not even going to begin to trust simply deleting the Adobe Digital Editions 3 app from my applications folder...no way! I want to thoroughly remove ALL TRACES of this application (EVERYTHING that was installed by the installer, or later by the application itself, onto my computer. Simply deleting the app fro my my applications folder will NOT be sufficient to achieve this goal.
3) As the name would suggest (and the step-by-step instructions would collaborate, the CC Cleaner Tool is only for Creative Cloud installation and removal problems (and to the very best of my knowledge, Adobe Digital Editions is certainly NOT a CC program.)

No, I would ask tech support at Adobe since it's their product. But I might hazard a guess you have a problem with your system, so before you run off to the Apple store and pay for service that you give this a try.
First, be sure Flash has been uninstalled. Second:
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

I installed Photoshop Elements 4.0 this morning. Seems like I bought it just yesterday but now I realize that I should have upgraded to 8.0 first. I realize this is the FCE Forum but can anyone tell me where I can find a way to properly uninstall Adobe Photoshop 4.0 from my iMac. Uninstall for Muse CC doesn't work and Adobe Cleaner Tool doesn't show Adobe Muse CC in it's list of applications. Some CC applications get overwritten when CC (2014) versions are installed, but not Muse. How can I remove it from my system? I was able to uninstall it on my laptop (MacBook Pro, OS 10.9.3), but not desktop (Mac Pro, OS 10.9.3).

I would like to uninstall Adobe Extension Manager CS4 from my Mac, but so far I haven't been able to find any answers on how to do this properly (or at all.) I've successfully uninstalled all CS4, CS5 and CS6 applications; I also ran the Adobe CS4 Clean Script, to no avail.

You can install CC on two computers and use them both (even different OS if needed)
You can also sign out with your Adobe Creative Cloud application on one computer and log in on another computer, the max of active systems is 2 but it should be possible to have them on multiple systems with signing in and out.
