No. The only reason to click on Redeem is to redeem an iTunes gift card onto your account. As you say that you have a credit card on your account then you don't need another payment method, you can use that to pay for the songs.
Under the Quick Links heading there should also be a 'Wish List' or 'My Wish List' heading, click on that, and you should then be able to buy the songs that are on your wish list by clicking on their price buttons (not the downward pointing arrow next to the price). You will have to buy each song individually.

I tried for 15 min. to figure out how to buy an email gift certificate from the iTunes store via my Mac. I read the HELP instructions and they did not corespond with what was on my screen (and Apple presented no pictures to illustrate and use to match). Problem was this - beware - especially with the holiday shopping coming... you might end up frustrated by this too:
If your iTunes home page is displaying via their "Just for You" personalized feature, it won't display the buy a gift certificate, etc. commands. So - turn off that "Just for You" stuff. The screen will refresh and present you with access to those purchase commands. Funky funky... both the instructions and the interface.
Lastly, right now the purchasing engine ain't working at all. I tried to make a purchase there and the display just kept saying that there's a problem at their server level or something like that and to try again later.
Like I said, funky...I have PayPal set up for purchases. I ordered the egift for email delivery to my self and keep getting the message that the purchase did not go through, contact support. I contacted them and they told me they had fixed the problem so I tried many times again and got same message. I do nto understand why there is always some problem with Itunes. Seldom is it a smooth process. This is the only account I have with constant problems.

I have purchased and downloaded some TV Shows through iTunes. How can I watch them on my iPad without an internet connection?

I purchased a seasons pass for Sons of Anarchy Season 6 and I've got the eposides on my IPad but Airplay won't allow me to watch the episodes without an internet connection or WiFi. I am so confused about iCloud. My husband says he never set it up but all is information is on both his iPad and iPhone. How can that be and do I have to have iTunes Match?
"All his information" may or may not include things customarily stored in iCloud. Perhaps all the information is on both devices because they were both recently synced using the same iTunes sync.
Do you have to have iTunes Match? No. Many folks do not have iTunes Match. The music purchased from iTunes is always available to the purchaser. Other music is stored in iTunes on the person's computer. -

I purchased a ringtone from itunes store on my iphone5 but cannot find how to assign it as my ringtone. Can anyone offer suggestions please

tonight I tried to download a ringtone to my iPhone 5. Picked out the one I wanted, clicked on "buy" and was asked for my p/w & if I wanted to assign it to a contact. Yes, entered correct p/w & yes. NO DOWNLOAD - it doesn't show up in my Ringtones under "Sounds" or "Text Tones" and a search of my phone doesn't show it. So, even though my balance was subtracted the cost, I tried again....still doesn't show up on the phone OR in iTunes on my iMac or iPad - and I was charged for it again!! ETA: It doesn't even show up in recent purchases.?!?
iMatch is turned on in all devices and I noticed that in iTunes on my iMac, there is NO tab for "Ringtones" or "Tones" in the top menu across my iTunes screen....however, in my library on the Mac there IS a line item for ringtones, but it's empty when I click on it. This is the 2nd ringtone I've purchased that doesn't show up; thrtefore I cannot use either one but have been charged for both...GRRR
I also noticed tonight that a lot of my options in my Library on the Mac are "grayed out" so I can't even get into them. Yes, I'm signed in & all devices are
