How do I purchase multiple copies of the same title for my class of students to download?

I need to purchase 60+ copies of the same title to use in my classroom. Normally my school purchases paperback copies of books, but now that I all of my students have iPads, I would like to purchase the eBook and then have them download it. Any ideas on how best to do this?

Do a web search on the "Technology, Education and Copyright Harmonization Act of 2001," also known as the TEACH Act, or ask the legal advisor of your school.

Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve/merge ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed)

no - you simply have to select the option to print mucliples of a photo on a page
select the photo and go to the file menu ==> print - select the printer, paper size and print size and click customize - in the tool bar click on the settings icon (the gear looking thingy) and select "multiple of the same photo per page" and the preview will reflect this option showing a full page of the selected size photos

That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.
You can only do it by duplicating the photos "n-1" times to make "n" prints and selecting all copies then print

How do I create multiple copies of the same movie title?

I have the latest version of iTunes 11.1.3 64 bit. I have Star Trek Into Darkness already in my movie library (from the Blue-ray) and tried to add the 3D version to my library. I want both so I can watch via home sharing on my iPad or on my 3D television (via AppleTV) depending on my mood. It seems that adding the 3D version identified it as the same film as the 2D copy already there and merged them into one. I deleted it and added again, this time going to "get info" and changing the title of the original to "Star Trek Into Darkness 2D" before adding the 3D version again and the same thing happened. Is there any way for me to have both the 2D and the 3D versions coexist?

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I tried renaming the 3D version by adding 3D after it, but it still not a separate movie in iTunes.
It's putting them in the same folder.

If you're looking for automated "n-Up" functionality, I don't think you'll find it in InDesign or Acrobat.
All I can suggest is start a new InDesign document and place 3 copies of your sign on the page. Print.

Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix things.
For compilations that aren't, select all tracks, Get Info, and on the option tab set Part of a Compilation to No. If it already says No tick the box alongside, then click OK.

I want to make several photos (each with different crops and enhancements) from one existing photo and also want to keep my original as is for future edits.. Is there a save as feature or a way to copy paste to different albums.

Sha the original to itunes or the Camera Roll. Make the edits you want the share the photo to the Camera Roll or more per able iTunes. The make more edits and share again. To go back to the original photo you can use the Revert to Original function.

Alexander, On my machine it works as follows in iTunes 11:
Enable column browser from the View menu. In the Genres column of the browser, use CTRL-click (in the Mac I think that is Option-click but if it doesn't work, try CMD-click) to select the Genres you want. Also activate Shuffle (crossed arrows, or via the Controls menu). Start playing, and it will shuffle through the songs of the selected Genres.

Why do I have multiple copies of the same song?

When I open my iTunes on my iPad I have multiple copies of the same song. It seems that when I connect and sync to my computer that it does not recognize that the song is already on my iPad, so it sends another copy. When I try to delete the second copy from my iPad by swiping to the left and hitting delete, it doesn't delete and I see the cloud icon like it wants to down load if from the cloud automatically again. How can I clean this mess up?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like your Music application is showing your previously purchases music, with the cloud icon, on your iPad as well as what is synced onto it. Please follow the instructions in the following article to turn off Show All Music.

Just show music that’s been downloaded from iCloud. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music.
