How do I put a Halo on someone in Imovie?

This is not generally possible in imovie, but if you have access to a photo editing app like Photoshop, Acorn, Pixelmator, etc., you can do this.
First I would make a still image of the frame where you would like to place the halo. See this post if you don't know how. Save it as a PNG.
In Photoshop, bring in you PNG into one layer. Create another layer with a halo. Save this out as a PNG file.
In iMovie, drag in the PNG file and drop it on the frame where you need it. Choose CUTAWAY, and in the clip inspector, set the opacity slider to transparent.

You could do a halo that moved and followed the person in FCP X and Motion 5, but that is a big learning curve.

When you have iMovie open. You can jusr drag the clip you want into the timeline or clips browser.
Or you can go to File>Import.
Then you can edit any of that.

Before receiving your email I went into the main web page of Mozilla Firefox Add-On’s, removed all Add-On’s, then added all the Add-On’s I wanted again without ‘Quest Browse’. This seems to have solved my problem, however I don’t think it is the right solution.
I am sure ‘Mozilla Firefox’ would not offer an add-on like ‘Quest Browse’ to create a problem. I feel they (Mozilla Firefox) are being targeted by a Virus or Malware. I have scanned my computer with quite a few leading brands of Anti-Virus and all scans have come out negative. If anyone has used a Virus Scan that has actually found a Virus/Malware that caused ‘Quest Browses’ erratic behaviour, it would be helpful.
I have checked a number of forums and find that quite a few people have had the same problem, quite a few have suggested to try a particular brand of Anti-Virus. No one has actually comeback saying they tried a certain brand and it has removed the Virus/Malware.
What worries me, is whoever created the Virus/Malware is happy that no one has been able to remove his/her creation and would be encouraged to create variants of the same which may/could bring other problems for 'Mozilla Firefox' users like us.

Here's one way.
You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import.

First go here - https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and login under the manage tab. Check your information and be sure it is all correct.
An AppleID is nothing more than an email address, so if you see another email address in the store, then someone has logged in with a different AppleID than yours. Did you let someone else use your iPhone?

Only certain things are synced to the computer from the iPhone. The rest should already be resident on the computer. Those things are not able to be synced from the phone to the computer. They are designed to only sync from the computer to the phone, such as music.

OK, there is a better way to do this. First of all, in your old library, I would add all your songs back by going to file > add folder and picking the new folder where all your songs are.
THEN go to edit > preferences > advanced (it's a tab) and then in a box is your source folder. Change your source folder to a new folder in whatever username's My Music folder you want. Then consolidate your library, and that will copy all your songs into that new folder. Then get into the other user's iTunes, file > add folder and add the new folder where you added all your songs. If all works successfully, you can now delete the other folder so you don't have two full libraries clogging up your computer.

I have a movie (and extras) on my ipod nano that I downloaded years ago and placed my ipod. Unfortunately, that computer crashed and I no longer have the computer.
I recently downloaded a digital copy of a movie that came with the DVD I bought on my new computer. When I tried to put this movie on my ipod, I received a message saying that in order to do this, I would have to link my ipod to this itunes library on my computer and it would delete my old movie. I don't want this happen so how can I put my new movie on my ipod without deleting my old movie (and extras)?
(Also, I have no idea if this will be necessary information, but I want to give all the information for this question...the e-mail address I used to download the 1st movie is no longer in use due to security reasons. I've been using a new e-mail that has worked fine for downloading music and my new movie.)

Are you sure you have enough space on the ipod for the new movie? If you do, make sure it's loaded in i-tunes, and it's check box is checked, then click sync, or apply, and everything should load.

You need to convert the std::vector<std::string> into a sequence of bytes. For example, if all strings are shorter than 256 characters, you could create a fresh output string, iterator through the vector, and for each element, append the string length to the output string, followed by the string contents.
Note that ordering in the database will be different from lexicographic order, and you have to keep that in mind when performing range queries.

ok when i normally want to quickly put an accapella on a "instrumental" as a dj i simply load the accapella into my denon or cd player and through the "pitch" on the cd player, match the accapella on the beat less then 30 seconds.
Now when I would like do that same command in "logic" I am still not aware of a plugin that can do this without me manually burning the accapella on a cd then mixing it live on my beat through an external cd player source.
so the question is:
how do i put an accapella on a "beat" within logic without cutting the accapella so that it fits on piece by piece.
WHAT IS THE FASTEST WAY:

There are probably third party plug-ins that let you do this quickly like your CD-Js. However, the way to do this in Logic is slower.
First, you need to know the BPM of the acappella, and the easiest way to figure this out is to import the full track it's from into a blank Logic project and work with the BPM of the Logic project until you have it matched with the audio track. The way I do this is to cut the track right on the first kick and then drag that audio region so it lands exactly on the first beat of the bar. Then I adjust the bpm (located in the transport window) until the track stays lined up all the way to the end. It's brainless, you just look at the visuals of the beat and make sure they stay on with the grid in Logic. Once you got it lined up, you know the BPM of the track.
(If you're doing a remix for someone, it's nice to get the BPM from the artist cuz it saves you this first step)
Then, go back to the project you're trying to use the acappella with. Import the acappella into the Audio window and hit "W" to edit it. Or if it's already in your arrange window, double click on it right from the arrange.
In the audio editor window, use Command-A to select all (Apple-A). Then from the "Factory" pull-down window select "Time & Pitch Machine." Enter the acappella's BPM on the left and the the BPM you want it to be on the right (destination). Then process it (takes a couple minutes) and you're good. You just need to drag the acappella forward and back on the arrange window until it feels right.

Make sure your own music files are saved in the proper folder (Digital sounds) whether in your memory card or the phone memory, the location should still be:
Sound Clips > Digital Sounds.
If your songs/mp3s are saved anywhere else, it will not show up as a selectable ringing tone.
You can move your songs through File Manager on your phone if they are in the wrong location (Options > Move to folder).
