How do i put a picture of the event on my .mpg4 file ? Please Help

basically this is my problem. Just got a new sony camera and now i cant see a picture of the movie even. i would like to know which to select.
when i go to open my movie folder i used to be able see the picture events of all my movies so i knew which to select. now all i get is mpg4 icon for each movie. on my old camera it never did this i can see the picture event of the movie. sony says its a problem with codex file and need to contact quicktime.
please help.

Tap the On/Off button and at the same time tap the Home button. The resultant picture will be saved to your "Camera Roll".

I must be having a senior moment! In the past I have made a poster in Pages and put a picture in the background and text over the top.
I have just tried to do it again and can't for the life of me remember how to do it. I do have a new version of Pages which has confused me slightly.

Keynote 6 cannot import the old Keynote 4 (2008) files, please help

Dear all,
I notice that Keynote 6 (current) cannot import files created with the old Keynote 4 (2008).
On the other hand, Keynote 4 is obsolete and I no longer trust it for mefdion/long term use.
I have >100 critical files, yet using simple functions (no audio/video/animations).
I prefer not to insytall Keynote 5, think about the mess of having 3 KN versions installed.
Does anybody know a workaround?

The current consensus is to use Keynote 5.3 (iWork 09) for files created with previous versions of Keynote as older files do not open successfully in 6.1. New presentations can then be created in 6.1 if you want to use it.
I suggest you obtain iWork 09, available from Amazon and Ebay, and you can remove version 4.

For clipboard copy, I start with File > New and the size will be set to what's in the clipboard. Then once the new file is opened, Edit > Paste will place the clipboard contents as a layer in the new document.
You must remember to use the command Layer > Flatten Image of you want to save as jpeg or any other file format that doesn't support layers.
For processing multiple files,
File > Automate > Batch or
File > Scripts > Image Processor...
Check the User guide or google information for those commands if you have specific needs.

I want to put a pdf in an email, but not as an attachment, I want the email to open and the picture to all ready be there..just dont know how, thanks for your help

What I don't get is that when I send an email to someone, the only way I can figure to put a picture in the email is by either dragging it onto the body of the email where I want to place it (which makes it an attachment) or I can use the Attach File from the File menu or the Attach button at the top of my composing window.
I get emails all the time the look like a regular html web page with formatting and inline photos and graphics and they never show up in my email as having attachments. This is what I want to do. So, how does one place, insert, paste as html, or other wise put an image into an email so that it has formatting and does not show up as having an attachment when someone else receives my email.
I am a photographer and the biggest reason I am asking the question is that I want to send out an email that includes an image inline in the body of the email so that the recipient will not trash the email before opening it because it has an attachment or their spam filter intercepts it and trashes it because it has an attachment.

If anyone likes, I can send you an example of both how my emails look (with attachments) and ones that I get that have the formatted text and photos.

Do you want to reference the background or have it appear in your final project? You will want to open the manual to the section on BACKGROUND MOVIE to make sure you know how to enable or disable the b/g function when you render your output or move your project to FCP.
If you are thinking you are going to use the b/g movie for the entire project and jsut place your LT elements on top of it: don't.

One question: How can I put a parenthesis around the number because I have this

and if I put the parenthesis hardcoded like this:

when the variable are printed the parenthesis is write very separated from the amount.
I know that maybe I can use the CONDENSE or CONCATENATE statement but for that I need to create a variable type N, or STRING and if I do that I don't know how can I put the decimals points back.
