How do I put a recent photo on my Apple Mail email program?

I am using OS 10.3.9
This question is for Apple MAIL email program and the emails that I send from my Desktop, not from the .Mac site.
Several years ago I did what was necessary to have my photo put automatically on each outgoing email that I send. (I realize that not everyone can see that photo; that is not the problem.)
PROBLEM: I now have more recent photos and would like to take off the old photo and replace it with a more recent photo but I forgot the procedure for doing this and can find it nowhere!
Please, can someone write down the steps that I must go through to take off the old photo and replace it with a new photo?

Dear Mulder — I went to the Help and found the following instructions:
"If someone using a .Mac mail account sets up his or her account to share pictures, when you view a message from that person in Mail you'll see the shared picture. The picture is not sent in the message itself; instead, when you view the message, Mail looks for the picture on the .Mac server. You can only view shared pictures from a .Mac account using Mail and webmail.mac.com."
However: Although I belong to .Mac and do have a .Mac email address, I rarely use webmail.mac.com. Any mail that goes there (almost nothing at all) gets forwarded to my Desktop email account. I use the Apple Mail program on my Desktop, not at the website. Would the the picture be visible then? If I send an email to myself I do see the photo... but am I the only one seeing it?

That is usually an indication that the Volume was never Erased or Partitioned for GUID partition table and Mac OS, and is still in a Windows format.
Mac OS X Extended (journaled) has no such file-size limitations

Here's one way.
You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import.

It is in Settings>iTunes & App Stores to change automatic downloads. But it isn't your device that needs to be changed if you are the one that made the download. He needs to turn off the setting for automatic downloads on his phone. I'm guessing here, but you are all sharing the same Apple ID?

Incorrect. Photos added to the Camera Roll are automatically uploaded to Photo Stream. Photos deleted from the Camera Roll are not automatically deleted from Photo Stream.

How do I get Chrome RSS to open in Apple Mail (FF does)

I have been using a firefox plug in that auto sends all my RSS feeds to apple mail. When I click on the RSS chicklet, it auto opens a dialogue box in apple mail to "add feed". Now that I started using chrome, I cannot find any way to do the same thing. Chrome RSS plug ins direct me to online readers at a website like bloglines or yahoo. I'm not sure what you mean. My new email messages are always at the top of the preview pane at the top of the screen. However, you can quickly scroll back to the top of the screen by tapping the top of the screen above the word InBox at the top. Tap on the black part of the screen and the preview window will quickly scroll to the top.

How can I sync only recent photos?

Is there some way to only sync "recent" photos, say all photos that are less than a year old? Manually selecting the folders to sync to the iPad is quite a bit of work that I'd like to avoid.

On a PC if you are syncing folders then no, you have to select which (or all) folders to sync manually. You can sync via Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements (possibly depending on their version) on PCs, but I don't know whether you can create collections based on dates in them.

Hi, i had some animal photos that i added to photo stream and at the buttom of the folder it says "shared by me"... i want to see those photos on my apple tv,
there is also a folder in photo stream named "my photo stream".
i can only see "MY PHOTO STREAM" photos on my apple tv, how can i see the other photos that i added to photo stream? like the animal pics.
i also deleted all my photos on "my photo stream" on photo stream, but they still appear on my apple tv. how can i delete those for good?
