I just replaced my daughters ipod. I abcked up the info on the old one before rplaqcing it. hoew do I get the old info tranferred to the new ipod?
When you turn on the new iPod and go through the setup screens, one of the screens should ask you to "Set Up as a New iPod" or "Restore from Backup."

Are you sure it's not 6.1.6? If it is, that is the latest iOS version that will work on a 4th generation iPod Touch. Later versions require a 5G iPod which has twice as much RAM.

Thanks, but impractical. Many of the folders have more than 500 emails. Total is about 2 GB (which I have free on iCloud btw)

I have set up c:\itunes as my itunes folder in edit > preferences.
