How do I Put contact information into iCal event

I am creating an event in iCal. I want to use an existing contacts name as the title of the event and their address as the 'where'. I don't want to use the invite tab. Some will not have email addresses anyway. I want to do this on my iPad. Anyone know of an App that will help. Thanks.

This only works if your iCal is linked to a calendar server.
To do this you need to go to iCal/Prefernces/Accounts and follow the explanations.

I use Address Book as a contact/customer list and use iCal to prepare my schedule for work. I usually type in the name of the customer I want to see in iCal. Is there anyway to import or drag names out of Address Book into iCal so the location & contact info will be included? I don't want to invite the customer. I just want to input the info into iCal so I don't have retype a name that is already in my Address Book.
If I have customer "xxx" in Adress Book and I am planning on visiting this customer tomorrow. Is there anyway for me to transfer/import this info to iCal without physically typing "xxx"? When I look at my appointment I would love to see the contact info for "xxx" in iCal when I click on individual appointments.

You can link to the Address Book entry with a URL. See my script +Link to Address Book+ on this page http://www.nhoj.co.uk/applescripts/ which creates a link from the currently selected person in Address Book. These can then be added to the URL field in iCal or the notes field if you have more than one per event.

This Annoyed me for ages !!
I wanted to add a contact but not invite them purely for my own info.
And i found a way around it.
Its easy.. Just add the vcf file of your contact as an attachment in the event !
I made a project folder and added all contacts needed vcf files to there, (just drag n dropped) and then just navigate to that folder to add the contact !

If you "Get Info" on the tracks that are part of your collection, you can use the Compilation option in iTunes.
In iTunes 8 and later, you find the option to mark multiple items as "Part of a compilation" in the Options tab of the Multiple Item Information window.

use for all entries and get the required data.
SELECT * FROM J_1IEXCHDR into table itab1 WHERE STATUS = 'P'.
if not itab1[] is initial.
SELECT * FROM J_1IEXCDTL into table itab2 for all entries in itab1 WHERE TRNTYP = itab1-TRNTYP
AND DOCYR = itab1-DOCYR
AND DOCNO = itab1-DOCNO.

so itab2 will have the common records...This will solve ur problem..
also u can do other method declare an final internal table with the common fields of the two internal table.
then after getting data in itab1 and itab2.
loop at itab1.
move-corresponding itab1 to itab3.
read table itab2 with key <give the fields> = ......
if sy-subrc eq 0.
move-corresponding itab2 to itab3.
endif.
append itab3.
endloop.

Before placing the iPod into Disk Mode, verify that it has a charge.

iPod devices with a Click Wheel
If necessary, verify that your iPod has a Click Wheel.

Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for at least six seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Depends on the format of the "work roster" - if it's a calendar file, you can import it with File menu > Import. If it's some other file type, you may not be able to import it and need to enter the events manually instead.
You might try the iCal forum.

Photos does not support to add location information yet.
Add the GPS before you import the photos to Photos. I hope this will change with the next release.
You could ,for example, first import to iPhoto, add the locations, batch change the titles and captions, do all the things that are not yet supported in the new Photos, then export the photos from iPhoto and import them to Photos.
Or use the free exiftool, if you like the Terminal.
