  • How do i move creative cloud to another computer

I have Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and Acrobat XI Pro apps installed on a Windows 8 computer.  I am getting a new computer next week and want to transfer these apps and my account to the new computer.  Where can I find the instructions to do this?

Stan403 instead of transferring the applications please install them on the new computer.  You can find more details at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.

    Hi Paulspierenburg,
The subscription can be used on 2 machines. When you try to use it on a 3rd machine. It will give you
a prompt to deactivate it from previous machines.
    Thanks

  • How do I access Creative cloud from my computer?

I have had CC for a few years now but do not know how to access the 20G of cloud space available. Does it show up as a drive on my desktop? or, Can I make it that way? That would be most convenient but my main question is 'where is it?' and 'how do I get to it?'

Any items (files and / or folders) you place in the Creative Cloud Files folder will by synced up to the cloud storage. (You can also Upload files just using a browser at the Files page at https://creative.adobe.com/files).
Once you have items uploaded you can do a read-only share from the Files page using Send Link. Or you can allow others to update the folder by using Collaborate.
If you use Send Link the person does not need an Adobe ID. Collaborate does require a free Adobe ID.

  • Can I share Creative Cloud with another computer, more specifically Photoshop.

I have two computers in the house. One in my studio and one in the office. The one in the office is connected to my giclee printer and does not have photoshop. I cannot fit the printer in my studio so I want to do my professional prints from the other computer. Can I install my photoshop on that computer as well? If so, how?

    Hi,
Yes, adobe allows up to two of your own computers to have the creative cloud installed.

  • How Can I Install Creative Cloud to Another Location?

I never install anything to C:\Program Files\ and I don't want to start now. How can I do a custom install to my preferred location?
While I am here, downloading Photoshop, After Effects and Audition has used up nearly 30% of my monthly bandwidth. Why isn't the Install Manager smart enough to know that I have a 64 bit OS and only install the 64 bit versions of the CS applications? It would save a lot of bandwidth and disc space (I only have a 128Gb SSD).

Change the location in the Application Manager prefs. Some components will however still be installed on your system root drive. 32bit versions are installed to provide compatibility with certasin legacy features like printer drivers, scanners and older plug-ins that may not come with 64bit versions. That aside, the video apps are 64bit only, anyway. The rest is between you and your Internet provider.

  • Installing creative cloud on another computer

I installed Photoshop CC on a second computer (I think I can install any CC on two computers with one license/serial right ?).
But When I enter my serial to activate Photoshop, it tells me that it can't validate this serial number.
    Thank you for your help.

Cloud programs do not use a serial number, they are activated when you log in to your paid Cloud account
Cloud License allows 2 activations http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html

  • My computer died. I do not want to loose one video on my iPod, how can I  use the iPod  on another computer? Please help!

please advise how I can put my iPod on another computer, my old one died a slow death.  There is one short video on my iPod that can't  be replaced.

    - What is the source of the videos? If taken by the iPod you can transfer them to the new computer by:
Copying personal photos and videos from iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer
    - If they were iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
    - If they were synced to the iPod and not iTunes purchases then you need a third-party program like TouchCopy or PhoneView.

How do i transfer creative cloud apps to another computer?

You simply install them via Creative Cloud like on the first computer after possibly signing out on the old one, if you no longer plan on using it...

  • How do you transfer Creative Cloud (Light Room & Photo Shop) from your old Desk top to a new desk top

I have just got a new desk top and I am trying to work out how to get The creative Cloud programs I use (light Room and Photo Shop) off my old Desk top and onto the new desktop. Does any one know how to do this or have already done it, or do you have to cancel the subscription on the old PC and start a new subscription for the new PC.

    Hi Jessica,
You do not need to cancel the subscription. You can simply follow the article: Creative Cloud Help | Download, install, update, or uninstall apps which will help you to install the Adobe CC application on your new PC.
If possible you can also deactivate the license from your previous computer using the article: Activation & Deactivation Help.
Let me know if it works or not.

  • How do I fix Creative Cloud to show ALL my apps that I have installed ?

    Here my specs : Windows 7 Pro 64 bit ● 10GB DDR3 RAM ● Intel Core i7 ● AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series
    Here my story :
One day, little Creative Cloud said it had an update to be installed on itself. Possibly taking it from version 1.7 to 2.0 or something. I clicked on update. Creative Cloud started downloading and once it was done it said update complete. I clicked on finish or something. Once that happened, it disappeared completely. Gone from taskbar, Window closed and shortcut gone ! I looked into the Creative Cloud folder, in the Adobe folder and there were two folders : Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Cloud_2.7.0.413. I then went into the Adobe Creative Cloud folder and double opened the application therein. It opened the Creative Cloud desktop app BUT showed it had an update just as before for itself. I AGAIN clicked on update, and then it said "Error 50" , unable to update. I searched around and somewhere on the forums it said I must download adobe cloud and reinstall it. I did that and ever since that dreadful day, little Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't want to show ALL my installed apps anymore. It simply shows only 2 !
This is what I have : Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash Professional, Media Encoder, Fireworks. What it only shows in Creative Cloud desktop app : Flash Professional, Dreamweaver.
    What I tried doing :
1.) Re-installing the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.
2.) Changing the directory settings for APPS and pointing them to the actual location of the installed apps.
3.) Deleting or renaming the "opm.db" file.
    4.) YES, I RESTARTED MY PC !!!
What I want to do :
1.) Receive a fix that will make ALL my installed apps show.
2.) Find out what the hell the difference is between the concept of having TWO versions of the same program installed BUT getting updates for BOTH like "Adobe Photoshop CC" and "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014". I installed the Adobe Photoshop CC this year almost 2 months ago for example. Then CC told me there is an app update and that got me Adobe Photoshop CC 2014. Now I have two versions of the above listed programs... Why doesn't CC just UPDATE the Adobe Photoshop CC, rename and list ONLY Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 in the end ?
What I do not want : RE-DOWNLOAD OR RE-INSTALL ALL MY INSTALLED APPS ! This not only will cost me a lot of internet bandwidth but also a considerable amount of time. There must be a simple fix as all files are in place ! I can launch all apps individually and they are working both the "" versions and the 2014 ones.
My question : How do I fix Creative Cloud to show ALL my apps that I have installed ?

    Hi alextz11,
The email in the forum does not reflect any Creative Cloud order. Please follow the steps in
Locate the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE directory and rename it to OOBE_OLD
Download and reinstall the Creative Cloud Application from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
You can also consult : http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html
    Hope it helps your issue.
