How do I put in a WEP 104 bit HEX WY-FY Password?

How do I enter my network router's WY-FY WEP 104 bit encryption password into my iPhone.
The phone only takes ASCII charactors  not HEX.

You should just be able to enter the 0-9a-f hex digits of your WEP password.
HOWEVER, you can ONLY enter WEP Key 1.  WEP Keys 2, 3 and 4 are not support by any Apple products.
If you create an exactly 13 character ascii WEP Key 1 password on your WiFi base station, then the ascii password can be entered instead of the hex value, as 13 ascii characters is represented by 26 hex digits which is 104 bits.  And all WEP implementation take 13 character ascii password one-for-one to their hex respresentation without any any munging of the values.
And if entering the 0-9a-f values does not work, try preceeding the value with a dollar sign $, as that convention is often used to indicate the passwrod value is actually a hex value, although I have not seen it used on an Apple device for years.  But what the heck.
However, as deggie has said, WEP is insecure.  At most it keeps honest people honest as they will not accidentally connect to your network.  But there is software easily available that will crack a WEP password in less than 60 seconds.
