How do I put multiple songs on my iMovie video?

I am trying to make an iMovie video, and I can get one song on it. But it's very long, so I want to keep uploading songs as it goes, but it doesn't work. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

just drop the music-clips onto a video-clip instead of 'into the background'.

You can work with 2 pictures with iMovie '11 using either picture-in-picture or side-by-side.

Side-by-side is created in a similar way.
For more then 2 photos you have to first composite them using something like PhotoShop or Pixelmator.

If you "Get Info" on the tracks that are part of your collection, you can use the Compilation option in iTunes.
In iTunes 8 and later, you find the option to mark multiple items as "Part of a compilation" in the Options tab of the Multiple Item Information window.

You can select a range of songs by selecting the first, then holding shift when clicking on the last. You can ctrl+click to add or remove from the selection. Once you have a selection press Ctrl+I to Get Info. Type in the new Genre and press OK.

The slide show feature in Lightroom isn't really very flexible or feature packed. I suspect the design was to provide professional photographers a quick way to show proofs to clients. You will have to use other software for what you intend to accomplish. I'm going to be creating a slide show with about 500 images soon. My intention is to create the slide show with Lightroom and export as video. Then I will use Premiere Elements and import the video and lay down the music track. There are easier ways to do it, I know. But I don't do this kind of thing very often and don't plan to purchase more software that would make it easier.

For the moment there isn't a way for us end-users to control what is "matched" or "uploaded." That is purely a result of Apple's server-side algorithms.
To re-add multiple songs at once simply highlight all the songs you want to re-add, then right-click (or Control+click) the list and choose "add to iCloud."

Right now, I can't transfer songs from my laptop to my iPhone unless I turn off iTunes Match 1st. Once the songs are on there, I turn iTunes Match back on, but then the songs that I just transferred over dissapear...

I'm having the same problem, some of my songs will transfer but not all of them. It seems there are alot of people having this problem and apparently Apple doesn't know how to fix it. Open iTunes and plug in your iPod. On the left sidebar there should be your iPod name (If you can't find the sidebar, go to iTunes menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar), go to your iTunes playlist and drag the songs you want to your iPod. For all of the songs, go to your iPod music library, even if you don't have songs, and on the bottom there should be a blue-ish bar. There might be a box saying "Autofill from iTunes library" click that ONLY if you want ALL songs from your iTunes to your iPod.
