How do I put the audio from one clip over the video of another clip?

So I have two videos, and I want to replace the audio of the first with the audio of the second. Sorry, I'm new to 08 and have been trying to suss this out for ages so I'd really appreciate any advice you guys can give.

The Working with Audio clip also included the solution for extracting the audio from a clip at the very end of the video. Having to know the secret handshake of shift-command and dragging is really not intuitive, but such is progress....

I would think you would drop down the audio level lines in the "Stereo" tab (FCP 6.0.6 view to me) in the clip's video window.
But then again, in my old version, I can't play two clips at once. But I figure if the newer FCP allow you to do that, then that's what I would do.

Yes.
First go to iMovie/Preferences and make sure that the Advanced Tools are enabled.
Now, drag the clip with the Video into the project.
Drag the clip with the Audio and drop it on the first clip at the frame where you want it to begin. A popup menu should appear. Choose Audio Only. You may then want to open Inspector for the video clip (by clicking the little gear icon at the top left of the clip) and going to the audio tab. Here you can turn down the volume of the video clip, so that all you hear is the audio clip.
Another way. Put the video clip that has the Audio you want in first. Then drag the clip with the video you want and drop it on the clip that has the audio you want. A popup menu will appear. Choose CUTAWAY.

Problem while migrating the extensions from one instance to the other.

We are using kintana workbench to migrate the objects from one instance to the other. But after migrating From Instance1 to Intance2 it ws fine. Working properly in Instance2. But when the same package is migrated to Instance3, all are migrated successfully and log files are showing proerly. But when i access the pages in Instance3, I am getting the errors on the page above like this:
ViewObject attribute is null; ViewUsageName: (ScorecardSummaryVO1); RegionItem: (LastUpdateLogin)
Can some let me know what could be the problem.

Error shows that LastUpdateLogin item on the page has no proper VO attribute attached. Hence it seems that the MDS data is not updated properly. Upload the page again and test.

Someone knows step by step iphoto from one account to the other. I am admin but still I do not know how to bring my iphotos to a different account

Just the Photos?
Export them from iPhoto to a folder on the desktop
Put that folder in the Users/Shared folder.
Switch User.
Drag the folder from the Shared folder to whereever you want it.
Share the Library?
For iPhoto 09 (version 8.0.2) and later:
What you mean by 'share'.
If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
If you want the other user to have the same access to the library as you: to be able to add, edit, organise, keyword etc.
Quit iPhoto in both accounts. Move the Library to the Users / Shared Folder (but note: some users find ongoing permissions issues with the Library in this location. It might be better to use an external HD set to ignore permissions, a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.)
In each account in turn: Double click on the Library to open it. (You may be asked to repair the Library Permissions.) From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both accounts will have full access to the library, in fact, both accounts will 'own' it.
However, there is a catch with this system and it is a significant one. iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.

I read up a bit on the "Flex" settings, however, I can't seem to turn it completely off. The flex button is not engaged, however, when I move audio from one track to another, the pitch changes. How do I stop this completely?

You have to disable it on the tracks themselves too. The 'main' flex button only turns on and off Flex view, and not flex itself.

I'm a student IT, and for the course Programming, which uses Java, we have to write a game.
I've got a JFrame with two JPanels. Both are overriding paint(Graphics g). One JPanel, let's say JP1, draws a board with 196 squares, the other, JP2, draws 21 pieces made up from the same size squares. What I want is, when I press on a piece in JP2, that I can drag that piece over to the board, JP1, and when I release the mousebutton, the piece is drawn in the board.
How can I realize the dragging part? I've tried with an extra JPanel, with the size of the JFrame, but then either JP1, JP2, or both won't draw anymore.
Can someone help me with this?
Check here for a paint what I mean (don't mind my painting skills :p). At no.1, the mousebutton is pressed on the piece, at no. 2 the dragging starts, and at no. 3 the mousebutton is released again.
Hope I've provided you enough information, I would post the source code here, but it's a lot in Dutch, and it may just confuse you ;)

After a failed attempt at getting the lcd screen on my iPod with color display fixed, my parents got me a brandnew ipod, the fifth generation one. Slight problem- will my itunes just load all my songs from my old one onto my new one, or do i need to save my songs somewhere else so that i can install the new software for my new ipod- Help me! Please and thank you!

If the songs are in iTunes, then they will load onto your iPod.
Make sure all the software is updated though...

After copying the audio from one project to another, there is only silence?

I am working in Adobe Premiere CS4. Because of an error with one of my projects, I wound up just copying all the video as well as the audio (which has a bunch of fadeouts/intricate splices) to another project. When I try to play the audio in the timeline, however, there is just silence. The video is just fine, though, besides things like scaling being off, which I've accepted that I will have to re-do manually. But does anyone have any ideas as to why the audio is just not playing at all? Thanks.

Select one of the silent clips and then park the playhead over it. Perform a Match Frame operation by pressing the M key. That should bring your audio back.
