How do I quickly identify FREE apps...

Hi Folks,
So I'm going through the Apps store, in particular the "Games" section and I wanted to know if there's a way to see a listing of all the "FREE" games that are available. I know that some of the games will have the word "free" at the end of the name but it would also be nice to see all the free games categorized...similar to what they do with I-Books.

You can also go to the app store games page (from the pulldown menu at the top of the window). On the right side of the Games page the "top charts" section is divided into Paid Apps and Free Apps. Go to the Free section>See All and you get all the free apps ranked by best-selling, but you can use the little menu at the upper right of that page to change the sort order, too.

Sorry, but there's no way I know of to restrict downloading to free apps only. You can turn off purchasing of apps completely, but if purchasing is allowed, it's open other than by age range. You can of course remove any purchase method, but I don't believe that blocks the purchase; you just end up owing money.

To be able to use the US store you will need to be in the US and have a US billing address on your account. You can try requesting that it be added to the UK store, but unless the app's developer agrees to it then Apple won't be able to put it in the UK store : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Sorry, but you can't. The process only works when creating a new Apple ID. With an existing ID you'll have to provide a payment method at least temporarily.

That's why some developers offer a free "light" version after which you then either buy a full version or add features via an in-app purchase. But if the developer doesn't offer such a limited version, then there is no way to try an app before paying for it, and no refunds unless the app is defective or falsely advertised.

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

I loaded a bunch of free Apps (maybe too many?) right after I got my 4s yesterday, and at some point I noticed that none of the downloaded Apps would work. The screen would blink when I tapped the icons, but the Apps stopped opening. Resetting the phone didn't help, so I decided to delete all the Apps I had downloaded and start over.
I can get the "Purchased" list to show up by pressing Updates button (is there another way?) but the show as "installed" in greyed-out letter, so I can't figure out how to get them back.

Your iPad screens aren't completely filled up are they? If they are, you will only be able to find them using the search feature on the iPad.
