The "missing file" error happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
If another application like Windows Media Player has moved/renamed the files then the chances are that subtle differences in naming strategies will make it hard to restore the media to the precise path that iTunes is expecting. In such cases, as long as the missing files can be found somewhere, you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes. See this post for an explanation of how it works.
If you have to resort to trying to pull back the library from your iPod see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
Note also that if iTunes has an entry for a song, even if that entry is broken, then it won't offer that track for download since it "thinks" you already have it. If you can't find the original files or recover them from a device, then you may need to delete the broken entries, close iTunes and reopen before you can access the past purchases.

You can replace the back glass or get a case. There are many iPhone repair centers... Google for one. You can also try the Apple store... I've heard they will replace the back for about $30.

It's not currently possible to re-download audiobooks, you will need to re-sync them from your computer's iTunes. I recommend deleting the purchased song from iTunes and downloading the song from your list of past purchases. Be sure to sign in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the song with, and follow the steps in the section titled "Using iTunes 11 or later" or "Using iTunes 10.7 or earlier" in the article below:

TS1424 Specific purchased songs do not play correctly

I purchased the album "Into the Labyrinth" by the artist Dead Can Dance for 9.99. Some of the songs will not play all the way through, and a few will not play at all. I searched through Itunes support and was unable to find any advice on this issue. Any suggestions? I use the newest version of Itunes, and have never had this problem before.

ITunes purchased videos do not play correctly

Since upgrading to iTunes 7.6 my purchased videos (music or otherwise) no longer work. The audio is ok but I only get bands of color for video. I have upgraded to the latest QuickTime and it didn't help. All other video (DVD, internet, etc.) work fine, it only appears to be my iTunes videos. Has anyone else encountered this?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from the music section of your iTunes library, close & then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked. This seems to help with partial downloads...
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.
