How do I re-install an old product?

My hard drive recently failed and I have lost all data.  How can I re-install my previous purchase of Master Collection CS5.5? I have copies of my serial numbers, but did not register them with Adobe, so there is no record on my account.

If you were not able to deactivate the original installation you should contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations before you activate the new installation.  That way you will still have an extra activation available for a backup installation.  Chat instructions are provided below after the download links.

  • How can I re-install my old SCSI card (2906)?

I think I should have asked for guidance here first but...
I'm trying to re-install my old SCSI card in my G4 (Dual 1 GHz - 1.5 GB Ram, 10.5.8), it worked fine a few years ago (under previous OS) but I can't seem to get it running now. The Profiler sees the card (Adaptec 2906) but says there is no driver. So I downloaded a driver from the Adaptec site (2930 - they say its the same as the 2906 driver), installed it, connected an old ZIP drive as a test - and yes I set the auto termination. Restarted and got a Kernel panic! - retried and got another panic!
Un-installed the driver, cleaned the cashes and reset permissions with Onyx, so I appear to be back to a stable system.
Anyone have any experience with SCSI cards? I would greatly appreciate any/all suggestions. I do have some experience with computers [Apple II+, SE30, IIFX, 8500 PowerMac, but this old head just can't get this figured out.
    Thanks in advance!

I thought I'd post this as an update and general information for others who might have a similar problem.
I have my old original Scsi card installed (Adaptec 2906), and it does work under 10.4.11 (my alternate/back-up system). I installed just "Adaptec78XXSCSI.kext" in the system/library/extensions folder and as long as I start my scanner before I boot into 10.4 everything seems to work just fine.
It's a bit of a pain to have to switch systems whenever I need to scan something, but I can live with it.
I tried to install the drivers in 10.5.8 but that doesn't work at all. If I install the whole Adaptec2930 package, I get a Kernel panic almost immediately. If I install just the "Adaptec78XXSCSI.kext", the card is not recognized. From what I've read on various sites is that 10.4 is the last OS that supports SCSI cards (or at least this Adaptec card). If someone has better/more information, I would appreciate hearing from them.
I contacted Adaptec tech support, but I have not as yet received a reply
In the end, things have worked out reasonably well. I have the use of my old reliable Agfa Scanner (Vuescan is great!), and my old Powermac 8500 is still functional enough for me to recover all my ancient tape archives.
An interesting little twist: Part of my incentive to re-install the old SCSI card was to recover my tape archives via Retrospect. But I discovered while searching for the drivers that Retrospect no longer supports the Adaptec cards, and hasn't for some time, so I could not have used it on my G4 anyway!
Now I'm saving my pennies for a new 27" iMac

  • After a computer crash, how can I re-install my CS5 Production Premium?

My laptop is crashing, and before I do something about it I want confirmation that I can re-install my CS5 Production Premium. I need this suite for work purposes, and I don't care if I have to wipe this laptop as long as I can still get my CS5 back. I couldn't find an answer anywhere, and Adobe showed me to this forum, so here I am asking. I think it's the computer itself, and not Adobe programs causing it, however Illustrator was the first program to not open, and then Photoshop, and then my itunes, Word, picture viewer, and then it all went downhill. Now my laptop is only good for Internet, when it wants to be. Any information/insight is welcome!

  • How do i re install the old iOS5 to my iphone 3g

I recently updated my iphone 3gs to the iOS6, since then I have had no signal what so ever,  and the phone has been lagging and very slow and unresponsive to use, I took it into the vodaphone store and they told me to reinstall the old iOS5 as the new 6 software was too advanced for such an ld phone. Where can i find the old iOS5 to install or any other iOS as i just need signal back to be able to use the phone. Thankyou

  • How to download and install my old PSE5.

Some years ago, I purchased a download of PSE5.   A few years later, I changed computers, and had to contact Adobe to help me re-download the software.  I had, and still have, the serial number and order number from my original purchase.  I do not need, nor do I want, a newer version, as the old software performed well and did what I needed.  Now I need to install it on another new computer, but I cannot find a way to contact Adobe at all about this software or this subject.  They seem to have erected a fortress to keep the rabble at bay.  I just want to reinstall the software that I bought and paid for in good faith.  What to do?

I would love for you to have ring back tones on Iphone 5s! Here is where you can purchase and manage your ring back tones: http://vz.to/15Jto4u

  • How do I re-install my Adobe Products I already bought?

This is my problem: I (used to) have Adobe Illustrator CS5, Photoshop CS5 and other Adobe products that I bought about 2 years ago.  I recently had to replace the hard drive on my computer, and while I still have all of my files on my new hard drive, I don't have any of the programs! Do I have to re-purchase them or is there a code that I can use to ease this process? Bottom line is, I am a small business owner and I need these photo creating programs back on my desktop so I can get back to work.  Help Please!!!!!

  • How do I un-install an old InDesign

I am trying to install a new version of InDesign CS3 (Creative Suite 3 Design standard), but my Imac tells me that there is already
a copy of InDesign in this computer. I downloaded a free 30 day trial about 12 months ago and
then didn't proceed to purhcase after ther trial, I have since tried to delete the trial copy but
it doesn't the new install is still recognsing an older copy. It tells me adobe Indesign CS3 is already installed.
All the other items, Acrobat, Illustrator, photoshop - it allows me to either re-sinatall or un-install,
    bit InDesign is greyed out.
    Please can anyone help me.
    Thanks

Using the new CS3Clean Script is one possibility, but be warned that it remove EVERYTHING ADOBE from the system.
Adobe - Adobe CS5 Clean Script is supposed to also be able to remove earlier versions, and is supposed to be more friendly about it, but I haven't tried it personally.
If all else fails, engineer Matthew Laun sent me the following manual removal instructions for Macs:
    MAC OS:
    1) Use Add/Remove programs to remove All installed Adobe applications
    2) Ensure the following folders are removed from the system:
    /Applications/Adobe*
/Applications/.AdobePatchFiles (hidden, use Go > Go to Folder command)
    /Applications/Utilities/Adobe*
    /[startup disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/
    /[startup disk]/Library/Application Support/FLEXnet Publisher/
    /[startup disk]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe*
    /[startup disk]/Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/
    /Users/[user]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/
    /Users/[user]/Library/Caches/Adobe*
    /Users/[user]/Library/Caches/com.adobe*
    /Users/[user]/Library/Preferences/Adobe*
    /Users/[user]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe*
    3) Re-install.
Probably  overkill for some cases, but solves a LOT of cases which the clean  script does not. The caveat is that it requires re-installation of  virtually all Adobe Software.
    Good luck.

  • Install CS4 web premium on a new computer without "old product/serial number" that I need to validate this copy?

I am trying to install CS4 web premium on a new computer and have the serial number/date of purchase for this product, but at the start of installation it wants an old product previously installed and what that serial number is.  There's a chance it's on some old computer in a box, but I haven't seen / used a product besides CS4 in years (purchased in 2011) and don't know how I can put it on this new computer & get back to using it without knowing this mystery serial number? Thanks for your help & suggestions

It appears you purchased an upgrade version of CS4 and if so you are required to prove that you qualify for using it.  This means you need to identify the old version and its serial number - no way around that.  You will need to find that mystery version information.  If you check your Adobe account online you might find it.

I am trying to install an app in my iphone.  When I click Install, my old gmail account comes up for verification and it asks for my password etc.  I dont use this account anymore and have a new gmail account that is associated with my apple account.  How can I get the new gmail to default when I am trying to install apps?

Did you create a NEW Apple ID or did you change the email address for your OLD Apple ID? This will affect how you update apps in the future.
Anyway, go to Settings/iTunes&App Stores, log out, then log in with the new ID.

You can get the latest version of Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
You can trash Firefox 4.0 then re-install Firefox 3.6, it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords etc
Mozilla are working to prevent Mac users with non-compatible systems from getting the notification about Firefox 4, and also not displaying the "Download Firefox 4" button on http://www.mozilla.com

  • How do I go about getting the product serial number to register my product as well as install my product.  I bought it with a product box.  On the software disc sleeve, there is a series of numbers pasted at the bottom of the sleeves but this is not valid

How do I go about getting the product serial number to register my product as well as install my product.  I bought it with a product box.  On the software disc sleeve, there is a series of numbers pasted at the bottom of the sleeves but this is not valid.  When I tried to type this in for registration, it does register as this numbers also contain letters in it.  Apparently the registration boxes accept numbers only.  What do I do with a useless product for which I have paid good money for it?????

This is the simple solution which was offered to me when I tried to get the serial code on line.
The box and disc sleeve do not contain a series with 24 numbers which I presume is the product code to install.
I tried to redeem the registration code by following what they recommended, but inevitably it gets to the page that showed the registration boxes that need 24 serial numbers and I got stuck again.
This product is so different what my previous experiences of other software products where I just enter the serial number straight from the disc sleeve and then I got registered and go on to use the software.
I is really frustrating, spending the last two hours trying to get my product going....
