I uninstalled In Design and am first trying to install the Applications Manager Enterprise. What on earth is this? The directions said to install all downloadable components and it supposedly can't find an installer even though I am opening the install file. This is crazy.

I finally got it to work. After I downloaded everything that was on my list from Adobe, the installation worked. I still don't quite understand what it was I didn't do properly the first time. But it's in and I am happy!

How to copy and paste web design styles from the web

I am not doing so well with the web style templates provided in the latest versions of IWeb.
Is there a way to copy and paste the html code from some site who's design I like then paste it into my Iweb and then put in my content to the style that was up?
I used to be able to do do this about 10 years ago with a Claris Homepage program, don't see how to do it with IWeb.
It's like I have to do everything from scratch, draw background boxes, don't see frames.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. No you can't copy the code form a site and use it in an iWeb page. To use frames you would use an HTML snippet and this code:

That's easy.
2 methods:
1. Change the Startup Disk in System Preferences, then restart:
2. Hold down the "Option" key while starting or restarting the Mac. Then chosse the partition that you want to startup from.
The 1st mehtod is the quickest, because you don't have the additional step of choosing the drive. Plus, whatever you have selected in System Preferences becomes the default startup drive.

I also have my ipods, iphone sync'd in the old computer so i want to make sure that things won't get messed up (my apps, playlists, etc) when i move over everything to the new computer and sync all my devices with the new computer.

Make sure the XP box is upgraded to the latest version of itunes. Also make sure it's using the itunes media folder layout as explained here, because that's what the W7 is going to be using.

Install itunes on the new W7 PC.
Get these folders from the XP machine
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes
C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
And put them here on the W7 machine
C:\users\username\My Music\iTunes
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
