How do I re-instate my default profile from Application Support?

Firefox updated automatically to 9.0.1 when I re-started my Mac (OS X 10.6.8) but now I have lost the previous session and I have no bookmarks or passwords. Using Help I have found my default profile in Application Support but how do I re-instate Firefox with this information? I can't find any mention of this last step!

and if these dvds aren't readily available, are there any steps to re-install directly off of the apple website? i've tried downloading the software installer and it says that the application cannot be installed. are there any steps from there?

How do I return to my default profile

I created a new profile to try to fix a problem with saving passwords. It fixed the problem for about a week and now it is back to the same thing. During the week, since it was working, I chose to check the box "do not show" so now I cannot return to my "default" profile. Is there a way of getting that default profile back because I need my old bookmarks.

You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.

Iam not sure it can be changed from ABAP prog., for me it's look difficult because this default profile is located at OS level not in the application level.
For any basis guy this is matter of few min. to change/ add this parameter from RZ10. If you want to reinvent the wheel it's up to you.

There are a couple of methods for using more than one iPod on a single computer. Method one which has already been described is to have two Mac or Windows user accounts which by definition would give you two completely separate libraries. Method two is to set your preferences so that either one or both iPods get updated with only certain playlists within one library. Choosing the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" allows you to create a playlist specifically for each iPod and drag the tracks you want into it. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod ( for example, around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB Mini or Nano). It is somewhat similar to removing the application's plist file. It shouldn't cause any problems, but I haven't done a lot of testing. Back it up before you delete so you can return it if necessary.

How to grab local computer's default printer from a link in OAF

I developed a anonymous page (guest grants) , and call a concurrent program on click of a button. output is sent to the printer which is defaulted in your profile option - printer.
if i am logged into oracle- output from that button goes to my printer set for my oracle profile but if i open the anonymous page and then hit the conc program button...it doesnt print
ofcourse guest doesnt have default printer set and we dont want to set it as this link could be invoked from several machines attached to various printers...
can I somehow in my page's controller grab the default printer attached to windows machine , link is being invoked from ??
any pointers would be appreciated...

How do I go back to default Open With application in /Library/Mail/cache

Help! I was trying to find a mailbox that got deleted. In looking at /Library/Cache/Mail/ to see if the mailbox was there, I tried to open a cache. There was no application to open the document, so I clicked Mail Document, or something--I don't even know what I clicked. The cache did not open, but all the caches in the group now say Mail Document, and Open With: Mail. I am afraid I screwed up some important files in my computer. How do I get the files back to their original settings?

There seems to be no way to make it say <none> again, if you set it to something. First, it may be fine with it set to something, since you would normally never double-click on those files. But you may be able to change it back to the "default" setting by using a System Preferences extension called RCDefaultApp.

This installs as a new pane in System Preferences. It has an Extensions tab. If cache shows up as one of the extensions, try setting it to <default> or, if that doesn't work, <disable>.

How to enable desktop innerpage in Default framework from the disabled EP

By mistake I have disabled the desktop inner page in default framework - ep7.0. Now I am not able to see anything below the toplevel menu. I want to enable that again and i don't know how to do that. Because nothing is coming inside the screen after clinking the portal contant. That mean disabled. Is there any other way to get back that?
I don't know how to do that.

How can I make get my color profile from HD 1-1-1 to 4:2:0 YUV?

I'm new to Final Cut Pro X, and I've been given specs for my video clips to have a color profile of 4:2:0 YUV. My video clips all load as HD 1-1-1, and I can't figure out how to change that. Can anyone help? The required video codec is H.264 or MPEG-2 or MPEG-4.

There is. Actually a few different ways of doing it. I would use Desaturate in PS, then examine each channel for the best grayscale representation. Select the channel you like the best and copy it. Then, delete all of the channels so they are all White ( still in CMYK mode ). Paste the channel you copied into the Black channel. Save it as a CMYK file. You could also do this by converting to Grayscale, Copy the Black channel, then converting again to CMYK and repeating the steps outlined above ( i.e., delete graphics in all channels and paste Black into the Black channel ).

I'm guessing that you deleted the MDM profile in Settings -> General -> Profiles, is that correct?
If so, the only way to get them back is to re-enroll the deivce into the MDM. Not sure how your school did it in the past, but it would have either been done by having you log into an enrollment page or it could have been deployed with Apple Configurator.
You will likely have to contact your school's I.T. department to get the MDM profile added back to your iPad. Once that is installed, all of the other profiles and apps will re-install on your iPad.

How do I change Dreamweaver CC default view from split to code?!

In Dreamweaver CC, everytime I edit a .html file it defaults to the split view; I want it to open everything in code view! I have tried EDIT>PREFERENCES>FILE TYPES/EDITORS and added it to the open in code view option. But when I do this there is no option to switch between code-split-design when editing the file. I just want it to open everything into code view by default. I never had this problem with any other version of Dreamweaver and its driving me insane. I am only trying CC but this is a deal breaker for me, I would rather keep using CS6 if I cant get this changed. Please help! Thanks.

This is Adobe. They are too busy adding really obscure features to worry about your ability to control the work interface simply.
I too have this problem.
I think however, the best way would be for us to exchange lives as I have code view as the default and cant change that.
I think it would be simpler for us to exchange lives then it would be for adobe to fix the problem with their live cloud based software that you cant own and constantly reminds you of that fact by forcing you to register your product again and again.
No point in troubling their development staff who all seem to live in India even though I thought Adobe was a US company.

How Can I Pull Target Entity Default Currency from HFM

Hi All
I have seen in FDM that there is the ability to populate a tDimEntity table that includes a field to hold the target entity currency so that I can perform a test that import data is in the correct currency for target entities but at the moment I cannot work out a 'dynamic' way to populate that table. The FDM script delivered to pull HFM metadata into the tDim tables in FDM only seems to pull member name and alias for entities (HFM_LoadDimTables).

Yes, apologies I have posted a similar question in the two forums, I know FDM and HFM are pretty inherently linked but I'm never quite sure whether people monitor across multiple forums so wanted to try to hit both aspects with a query angled at the HFM side and one from the FDM side.
I very much appreciate the efforts of you and the other experts, I'm still discovering FDM and VB (my background is the Essbase, Planning, Reporting side of Hyperion).
I did try modifying the HFM_LoadDimTables script yesterday but having reviewed the v11.1.2 API guide I couldn't see anything in there relating to fListEntities which seems to be the function that I assume retrieves the details from the HFM tables. I have spoken with a former Oracle employee who thought that there may be a host of functions, properties etc not detailed in the guide so I raised an SR with Oracle only to be pointed back to the API guide or to consultancy which isn't an option for me.
Am I missing something obvious, or is it that I simply need to improve my VB knowledge?

How can I have a call with someone from Customer Support if I live in Costa Rica? I have forgotten the answers to my security questions and basically I can't buy anything on iTunes. I do not have a rescue email account otherwise I won't be writing here.

I have been trying to fix this by myself but I gave up! I don't remember the answers I provided before. Tried to have a call with apple support but it seems that this is not an option if you live in Costa Rica. How am I supposed to spend the credit I have in my apple account?
