How do I re-order popup-menu (open in new tab to the top)

Popup-menu is reordered to have share-option at the top in the new version of android browser.
How do I change the open in new tab-option to be the topmost option?

Currently in the customize options of Firefox for Android, this is not a feature. I would recommend requesting the feature in a bug.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

Can I chnge the context menu "open in new tab / window" options back to the previous version (reverse order)?

In Firefox 4, the context menu "open in new tab / open in new window" options are in reverse order compared to 3.6. Can this be "fixed," i.e. change the menu item order? I use this feature constantly and it's a matter of habit, also still use some 3.6 machines.

You can probably force it where you want it with a keyboard shortcut

bit of a hack, but the make command doesn't seem to work for tabs in terminal. replace what's currently in the 'try' block with this code:

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

If you have got to Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.2 and therefore Messages version 7.0.1 then double click the individual chats.
Once they are in separate windows you can chat like that (That's the way I used to chat - I didn't even use the tabbed chat)
It is impossible to create a separate Chat window each new chat (you have to separate them off from the main window which also keeps a "copy")
New chats are added to the main window even if you have used the red button to hide it. (CMD + 0 from the Window menu brings it back)

Have you tried: click Firefox button > New Tab > New Window '''''OR''''' CTRL+N '''''OR''''' File > New Window (if using the Menu Bar)
Once open, Firefox locks the Profile that is in use and you can not open another window with that Firefox version and Profile combination using the Windows Desktop icon or the Windows Programs list.

Firefox give me a blank white screen when i open it and when i type in an address in the search bar it just say new tab on the top left hand corner and its cont. to be a blank white page. IDK?

k when i double click on the fire fox short cut on my desk top or the tab under the start button, my firefox gives me a blank white screen with the phase " new tab" on the top left hand corner as if u clicked for another window. I have started using Roboform Lite 2.0.0, after Roboform it takes to much time to open Firefox and when i open a new tab, until the tab is fully loaded, Firefox is not responding. Please help.

After installing Roboform 2.0.0;
Starting Firefox started to take too much time.
When i open a new tab, until the tab is fully loaded and Roboform realizes which website it is, Firefox does not respond.
When i tell Roboform to fill the username and password fields in a tab, until Roboform submits Firefox does not respond.
I mean, as if Roboform is not working background and Firefox cannot work multithread because of it. When i navigate from one tab to another, Roboform is also checking the tab and meanwhile Firefox is waiting for Roboform to finish its work.
Please help me about this problem.

Why can I not open a new tab in the new Firefox? (via the + sign or Ctrl T)

In the new interface on Firefox (which started for me today ... May 2 ...), I cannot open a new tab via the "+" sign along the top or by using Ctrl + T. If I want more than one thing open at the same time, I need to open a "New Window", which doesn't make much sense. I don't necessarily want a bunch of windows but may need a few tabs open at the same time.

Why does ctrl+Left click a link open a new window? It should open a new tab in the current window.

Then while in the new window if I Ctrl+Left click a link it will open a new tab in the second window. Can't open a new tab with the + for tabs. Can open with Mid mouse button. Nightly.

When I click The + to open a new tab in Nightly, it does nothing. I can open new tabs with mid ouse button, or right click>open in new tab. Just cant open a new tab via the + button. Started 3 updates ago in nightly (3 days ago pretty much).

Are you using a 32 bit Nightly build or a 64 bit Nightly build?
The 64 bit Nightly build for Windows is only generated to test for compilation errors and doesn't undergo all the tests that other builds get, so the risk that something goes wrong can be quite high. 
So if you do use the 64 bit version then try the 32 bit version to see if you still have this problem.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
